PhonesThink Your Android Phone With Fingerprint Scanner Is Safe - Guess Again by killzone(op): 4:11pm On Jan 21, 2016
Fingerprint Scanner Is slowly becoming one of the most demanding features on high end Android phones. It offer users a quick unlock while providing a stable security for any intruders that may want to snoop through your smartphone , and they discourage thieves, as a fingerprint-secured smartphone to a thief as useless unless in the hands of its owner.

Android as you know is a very open platform, which give users the ability to access hidden corners of the OS. This give users full control over their smartphone which can be really exciting.

How does this affect the fingerprint scanner
The Culprit here is the “Recovery Mode”– a “behind-the-curtains” boot menu, which allows users to manually flash system ROMs, wipe the phone’s cache, or clear all of its data. And by all of its data, we also mean all of its security settings – it basically reverts it back to factory-default state.

A thief might not be able to access the data your smartphone by be can surely access the recovery mode and wipe all your data on the smartphone.

This is one of the few thing iOS has over Android since iOS is a closed platform. This is to sure you even with a fingerprint scanner your phone is not all that safe.

Some people still think that more megapixels is better.
Not in all cases.
If you are looking for detail in your picture then more megapixels is better. But sadly most of them do better in only well lit environments .

PhonesHow To Improve Battery Life On Your Android Device by killzone(op): 2:02am On Jan 20, 2016
There’s nothing as important on a phone on a phone as battery. Without it, our smartphones are completely useless. These days some smartphones can’t even make it a day without charging which is really annoying. This may not be a problem if you are using am Android phone with excellent battery life. but many people are often left with a dead battery, wondering how they can extend battery life on their phone.

Here are ways you can improve battery life on your android device :
-learn about your smartphone special tricks
The first thing you should do is check to see if your phone has its own special tricks. Some manufacturers include features to improve battery life. For example on infinix phones we have power saving and ultra power saving mode. Ultra power saving mode will reduce performance, turn down the screen brightness, disable background apps, and put the home screen into black-and-white.

We have similar modes like that on Samsung phones and HTC.

2.Adjust Screen Brightness Manually
Most Android device come with the ability Android device. Most choose ‘auto’ but this can have a negative impact on battery life. This is because the ‘auto’ settings makes the screen brigter than it needs to be and since the screen is one of the major things that suck battery. If you want to maximize your battery, you have to adjust the brightness manually.

3.Make the screen turn off quicker
Check your battery settings you will see the display is the first thing that appears to be using your battery. Why not limit the amount of time your screen is on? Go to the Display settings on your phone and look for “Screen Timeout” or “Sleep.” This setting controls how long the display stays on after your last touch. On most devices the default is 1 minute, but you can reduce that to 30 (or even 15) seconds to save precious screen-on time.

4.Turn Off Things You Aren’t Using
This has been said times without number. If you are not using anything on your phone turn it off. Things like Bluetooth and WiFi can have a huge impact on battery life. If you’re not using them, you should turn them off.

5.Use Airplane Mode Without The Airplane
You don’t have to be on an airplane to use airplane mode. As I said above disabling services is a huge battery saver. Airplane mode can also be a huge battery saver when you’re in a movie theater, taking a nap, or trying to Netflix and Chill.

6.Disable auto-syncing for accounts that don’t need it
Auto syncing is a slow killer of battery especially if you use Google Apps, you’ll accumulate a lengthy list of services that sync in the background. You might not want some of these services to be syncing in the background, but it’s not easy to know which ones are doing it. Disabling Auto Sync of apps tends to save battery.

Here’s how to disable auto sync
-head to Settings
-then check for accounts.
-select an app to see what sync(Google is a big one)
-Under Google you will find a huge list of apps.
-disable all of the apps you don’t use.

7.Install A Battery Maximizing App.
I know most of you guys already have DU battery saver on your android device for you to save your battery. But what if I told you there’s a better app.

Presenting greenify, one of the best battery saving app. It helps you identify and put misbehaving apps into hibernation when you’re not using them, to stop them from lagging your device and leeching the battery.

8.Enable Battery Saver Mode
Android 5.0 comes with some nice features. One of them is the battery moder mode, am sure infinix hot 2 users are already using this feature.
Battery Saver isn’t quite as hardcore as the “extreme” methods listed above. It will still limit performance, dim the display, and kill background apps, but the phone is much more usable. Battery Saver can also be set to automatically turn on when you reach a certain battery percentage.

To activate this mode, here’s how
-Go to Settings > Battery
Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top right
-Select Battery saverYou can turn it on manually, or select
–Turn on automaticallyChoose your desired time.

9.Use A portable Charger when you have nowhere to charge.
Portable charges aka ‘power banks’ could be a huge battery saver. Mine is because where I am the light condition is really horrible. Power banks are really handy in situations where you aren’t able to charge your phone. They come in various battery capacities.

10. In addition you could get battery pack and cases.
If you have a phone within removable battery, why not carry along an extra battery or another great way to extend battery life is a battery case. These cases have batteries built in, which can recharge your phone at a moments notice. You can find a battery case for most popular flagship phones.

Thanks bro, i keep telling people buy rest of mind, they are saying how can i compare galaxy J7, that phone is an all rounder, it isn't the best but against these zeros, i would pick a good quality device with rest of mind, saying a zero ips is better than J7 super amoled, even by just looking at both devices come on, you need not be told which has a richer screen, better vieing angle, anyways i rest my case since they believe this samsung j7 is not good enough, so be it, i know quality when i see, hold and browse with one and the j7 is one.
for me the zero series is just I Don't know. First zero had so many issues, 2nd zero same thing, 3rd we are still expecting. Are you minding him, ips displaydisplay better than super amoled looking at it your eyes will tell you the difference

3rdlegxxx:
by my logic, you say, ok a zero 2 is crap, i see it every day, crap as in screen quality and richness of text, files and movies, the zero 3 can't be compared yet since it is still new but going by reviews, it has its lags like other phones but seriously 3 gig on paper is good, the xiaomi on the other hand is what i am interested in but the 32 gig is a wrong business move in 2016, people want more file storage and if possible 1 TB in memory space, not all amoled screens are as bad as you put out but we have all seen
fact the guy is just looking at specs. Before I used my galaxy J7 I used zero 2
Let me describe the phone
-the build quality of the phone is poor, went to pick someone on bike the zero 2 was in my pocket, rain fell heavily from that day the phone never worked well.
-the phone overheats. Was charging, listening to music and was playing online game, the phone became so hot I had to drop it.
-the battery is so horrible can't last more than 4 hours on 3G
-even with 2gb of ram, the phone Lags

Reviews aren't really even out for the zero 3 so we don't know much about the phone.
PhonesRe: Hands On Review Of Infinix Zero 3 by killzone(m):
davthom:
but infinix zero 3 has a SD card slot if that o
is what u're looking for with double d ram of d galaxy j7,better performance, camera, build quality.and it is still #14000 cheaper than the galaxy j7.u said don't look at specs on paper but just bcoz its super amoled its better,no,super amoled on a 720p 5.5inch screen is even worse than an IPS screen as amoled use pentile matrix arrangement hence pixels are more visible on lower resolution amoled screens.also contrary to belief most IPS panels are more power efficient compared to amoled display, just check anandtech reviews for nexus 6 and huawei mate s.in fact only the amoled screens on the galaxy s6,edge,plus,active and the note 5 can keep up with LCDs.I mean by ur logic even the zero 2 is better with its 5inch 720p super amoled screen.
zero 3 power efficient, the zero 3 battery don't last at all. For the zero 3 if you go to the front of this page you will see a user commplaining of battery issues, my friend also using the phone complained of batter issue.
,so wait you are trying to say most mtk devices using lcd beat the Samsung phones using super amoled come on, how sure are you the zero 3 camera beat the j7 have you seen samples. It's not by 20mp oooo . pls handle the two devices before you say One is better than the other. If you want to correct me don't insult me

When u tell them they won't listen. I've always said it that megapixel is not everything. Most of these Chinese phone makers use megapixel to device prospective customers. The most important thing is the lens and software. Same thing with number of cores and number of ram. I have a friend that owns a tecno phantom 8 (good phone no doubt) and he brags that his phone is better than an iPhone 6. I asked him why and he said his phone has 13mp camera vs iphones 8mp. He also said his phone has octa core chip vs dual core of iPhone 6 and 3gb of ram vs 1gb of ram in iPhone 6. I just laughed, there's no way I can argue with such a person.
reason for creating the post, the iPhone 4s 8mp camera then beat most 13mp camera out then, Another example is the galaxy j5 and j7 they both use 13mp but the 13mp of the j7 beats the j5 own

PhonesSmartphone Camera Exlplained : Why More Megapixel Isn’t Always Better by killzone(op): 3:25pm On Jan 17, 2016
Ever wondered why a 8mp camera could beat a 13mp camera, am sure you have. There was a time when the 8mp of the iPhone4s beat most Android Camera that had 13mp above (iPhone users don’t allow your head swell). Am sure you want to know why, let’s dive in

What makes a good smartphone camera
-is it more Megapixel like 8mp and above
The answer is No, No, No, No,seriously no .

Here are what really make a good smartphone camera
–Sensor

The sensor is the most important part of a camera. No light means no photo. Light enters through the camera lens, then passes to the camera sensor, which receives the information and translates it into an electronic signal.
The size of the image sensor is extremely important. On digital camera we have large sensor but on smartphones we have really small sensor because of the size of smartphones.
In general, the larger the sensor, the larger your pixels, and the larger the pixels, the more light you can collect. The more light you can catch, the better your image can be.
Larger sensors are the reason that 8 megapixels from a digital SLR camera (or 5 or 13) best those 8 megapixels from a smartphone camera. You get roughly the same number of pixels, but the pixels on the dSLR get to be larger, and therefore let in more light. More light (generally) equals less-noisy images and greater dynamic range.
You can start to see that cramming more pixels onto a sensor may not be the best way to increase pixel resolution.

-aperture size

In front of the sensor is all the glass and all the lenses light has to pass through to get to the sensor. Aside from the quality of the glass the spec that matters hear is the aperture size. You must have heard about aperture size. The bigger the aperture size, the more light that enters, smartphone now come with aperture size of f/2.0, f/1.8,f/2.2 which is great for allowing a ton of light in.

-Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS)

At this point you are wondering what concerns phone camera and this one. Only to snap picture. Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) is good at removing Blur in your photo or minor hand shakes while the Optical Image stabilization is much better for longer exposure and with shaky hands it can still produce very sharp images and also better for low light. Not every smartphone sensor is compatible with this features but when you have it, expect your picture to be really amazing.

-image processing
In addition to the size and quality of the lens and sensor, there’s also the image processor. Most modern high-end smartphone CPUs have dedicated graphics processors built into the chip, which, being hardware-accelerated and not just software-dependent, can quickly render images like photos, videos, and games without overtaxing the main application processor.
The image processor is also what helps achieve zero shutter lag, when the camera captures the photo when you press the capture button, not a beat or two after.

-it all comes down to usability

It’s really hard to tell about a smartphone camera just by the specs of it just like how hard it is to know how well a car will drive by the specs.
It all comes to down to the user. We are the one that will determine how good the smartphone Camera will be.
