tested alien isolation too. mostly 60fps however i get stuttering alot. not smooth atall.

but to each his own. i believe him now. but surely he is bottlenecking his pc with that amount of ram.

But am surprised ur pc plays AW at 40fps. wats d model of ur gpu??

im more surprised than you ade. the other games i understand a bit since they are crossed gen however cod:aw is really a ram hog and if that pic is trully wat he plays at, with mid-high settings ( thats how far his gpu should be able to take him if not bottlenecked) then i guess color me surprised you learn new things everyday. The downside though is that you pc becomes slow for a while before it stabilizes. and it stutters a lot....

New info for the group. Stuttering does not affect frame rates at all. stuttering != lag. They are two different things as i have jux experienced. also it wears down you hdd very fast. lado increase your ram.

i jux tested ground zeroes too....funny thing happening. the game is mostly running in the 60s however its stuttering a lot. is that same with yours? and at what settings? this is not smooth atall. but yeah its manageable.

i am half shamed. i jux tested fifa 15, everything on low and its jux like it appeared on urs with 2gb....but that one wasn't in doubt. it doesn't run atall on high though even on 720p and my pc froze for a long tym.

im trully interested in cod:aw more. even on low it stutters a lot for guys with 4gb. so yh i need to believe those pix are urs. u can compress them lado i jux need to see irrefutable proof. i would have tried it myself but i dnt have the game yet.


ps: if that is how you play fifa ( ugly as it is on ur gpu that could run high with atmost 4gb then sorry for you.

Notice the word we used...."play" not "start"

just cause you started the game doesnt mean you can play it. prove to us that you can play the game "smoothly" that is the most important thing. Of wat use is it to start a game and not be able to play?

lado, starting a game != playing a game. fraps wont drain anything unless you are video capturing. also playing the game at single digits is not playing atall.

i want fps whiles you play. u don't even need to be in battle to take the screenshot (dat will cripple ur fps so i wont ask much)

so show me dat with 2gb ram u are playing cod:aw "smoothly...per your claim.

also nobody is a hater here, we are trying to make you see reason that you are bottlenecking ur system with dat small amount of ram.

I know for a fact that AW has a RAM requirement which I believe is 4GB so this seems somewhat unbelievable but another thing is AW has this optimization feature on PCs such that it adjusts to what your PC has.

so are u telling me that ur 2gb ram run games as smooth as 4gb with the same setup? you cannot be this ignorant. also my point still stands, officially you cannot run the game with less than 4gb. but sure sooner or later tweaks allow this limitations to be bypassed. everything wrks hand in hand in gaming....

gpu, cpu, ram, hdd in dat order. with a low amount of ram ur games will lag and ur pc will lag with it, ergo you won't be able to multitask becos ur ram needs to feed ur cpu which in turn feeds the gpu. But unlike what equado always says, ram upto some point is useless (law of diminishing returns) for gaming. I remember having to argue with him when i told him i use 6gb and am able to play two games at the same tym. the guy wouldn't believe me.

so when i say you are bottlenecking you cpu I meant interms of ram hogging games and multitasking.


Again i ask you, seeing as you have cod:aw, are you able to run the game?

I agree but I still think it is a little too early for criticism. Like someone stated earlier Naruto and Sasuke were probably rusty and out of practice, hence the mending Naruto received at first...They are hands on now, I doubt Naruto and Sasuke would make that mistake again.

The story is filling up...Let's give it time, I think think this series might be better than the original sef.

Story feels like a manga filler. Think bleach's fullbring arc, but a lil better as of now.

As for d fillers normally dey are meant to giv us a comprehensive view of d mysteries or events showed or stated in d anime itself dats need better clarification but d thing is dey introduced some unnecessary episodes which aint really important nd dey keep repeating some filler scenes I dont know why anyway we blame d anime team nd director.
Also d other time is to create much more distance between d manga and d anime but since naruto shippuden manga is done I think dey are doin dat 4 naruto gaiden (this is just my own opinion).

or they are being consumed by greed and are cashing in on the show, knowing that if they end it no body will watch fillers. they know people will make do with cash grabbing fillers in wait for canon episodes.

that must have involved tweaks to do so. but as of the tym the game got cracked on pc for the first time u cudn't play with 2gb ram (dnt lie cos we've had this argument before and if u cud at the tym u wud have produced evidence then like u did now)

i was considering changing to
envy 15
specs; i7 4700, 8gb ram, 1tb and nvidia 820m 2gb DDR3
..... i've used both and i noticed and clearly have seen that the dv6 is way more faster than the envy 15 considering the envy is 4th
on the dv6 i played gta v on very high settings on everything except texture on normal( cause it consumes the alot of vram alocation to it)
and the rest like fifa 15 and the witcher , battlefield all on high
but and the envy it lags so far in gta v and the witcher
..
and my personal opinion is the generation of computers dont always matters, i think its just about the release date and so on...just watch for the specs ur buying and the performance u get...
now my question is ;
the difference of gpu is clears GDDR5 is way faster than DRR3
i wanna keep my dv6 and use for about two years or so considering its performs btr than the envy..
or do you think i should change it and moreover the price are all nearly the same
the envy costs 2800cedis ( 135000 naira)
and the dv6 i bought 3000 cedis (143000 naira)

charley u are dosted, 3000 gh is real money. keep the one that runs the games better for u (hp dv6) they are both dx11 anyways so the answer is obvious. Not much diff in cpu gaming performance given the gpus allocated (in which the hp pulls ahead due to ddr5 among other things). Im guessing u need a mobile rig so i wnt suggest a desktop build.

dude vram is very important, works hand in hand. fifa 14 is no graphical masterpiece also on a 720progressive laptop screen. but im not complaining about the vram alone. its the whole package.

Also in games the gpu is the most important component....not cpu....

Read this thread from the beginning to this point all through yesterday and I must say I've picked up a lot. The argument over consoles/pc was actually quite interesting till it got out of hand. Both seem to have their pros and cons though but personally I prefer a home entertainment system to console as I just don't see myself coughing up the dough on expensive console cds. I mean by the time I own up to 20 console titles I'ld have spent more than enough to get me a very good gaming pc and that's not to add the cost of the console itself. When ps4 came out the price in nigeria was absolutely gobsmacking whereas the quoted price from sony 400 dolls I think. Having said that, the pc too has its irks, not being able to play some titles exclusive to consoles can be quite irritating there's also the issue of changing rigs in accordance to technological advances. So for me its just a matter of preference and the pc is what rows my boat.

last bit tho jux want to say that it happens on consoles too. to play the new uncharted u need a ps4 therefore a ps3 would be obsolete. same with a gaming pc. its the elitists who want the latest and newest. hope you're not one.
