Aemmyjah:but of course you would cheer. You don't even understand what it means to provide proof. |

Emusan: You have shown that you can use Google, you have yet to show correlation. Show the correlation then We'll talk. |
Religion / Re: Does God Exist? by kimco(m): 7:20am On Apr 07 |
Emusan: No it doesn't show anything. You haven't even established correlation here. You have only assumed. Establish correlation first and let's go from there. |
Religion / Re: Does God Exist? by kimco(m): 7:18am On Apr 07 |
Aemmyjah: "I know"?... Know?. That word. If you know what you believe in is true, it wouldn't be a belief system. Continue to use words you don't understand. If I ask you to prove your knowledge you will tell me to believe and have faith right now. Sorry but I am past that. 1 Like 1 Share |

Religion / Re: Is Polygamy A Sin In Christianity? by kimco(m): 7:13am On Apr 07 |
Joel07: So imagine more than one. So if you had one and she game you no peace of mind, why add another? Do you assume it would get better? |
Religion / Re: Is Polygamy A Sin In Christianity? by kimco(m): 7:11am On Apr 07 |
Joel07: I did not describe women as not having a mind of their own I said most polygamous wives. I didn't know polygamous wives represent all women. What selecting eyes you have. You just came with agenda, you did not even touch the subject. |
Religion / Re: Does God Exist? by kimco(m): 9:44am On Apr 03 |
Emusan: Huh? You have not said anything. I know what to do to understand the process of a scientific method. Infact the single most effective way of the method is consistent results across board. Now tell me why there requires a creator in the the DNA scenario. Share with me, the best reason why you feel an entity should be responsible for that? 1 Like 1 Share |
Religion / Re: Does God Exist? by kimco(m): 9:13am On Apr 03 |
MaxInDHouse: That was really wrong of you to quote mine, Max, to move your agenda. I'm really disappointed in you. 1 Like 1 Share |
Religion / Re: Does God Exist? by kimco(m): 1:06am On Apr 03 |
MaxInDHouse: What are you talking about. When I first join here I was a Christian but really questioning the faith. I looked for answers everywhere to reassure myself that I was wrong and that the faith was right. But as time went on and my cognitive dissonance dissolved, I came clear to myself, I cannot believe that a deity sacrificed himself to himself in order to forgive us for breaking rules that he set for us himself, amongst other confusing tales. If you have somewhere to blame for my change, blame YouTube, I am barely active on here anyways. 1 Like 1 Share |

Emusan: So what do you suggest I should do to prepare my mind to understand that a "creator was able to part DNA in a space of 20-30 micrometers of cell"? I'm interested. |
Religion / Re: Does God Exist? by kimco(m): 12:58am On Apr 03 |
MaxInDHouse: What a joke you are. You had to quote mine my old posts, to what end? You know this has nothing to do with the discourse, only make you look pathetic. I have every right to change my position and I did. I just decided to be honest with my self and stop blindly following. You could try that. 1 Like 1 Share |
Religion / Re: Does God Exist? by kimco(m): 12:54am On Apr 03 |
Aemmyjah: I would say I'm agnostic. And as for the reason, I just came clean with myself. The information book (Bible) is not consistent and very contradictory. A lot of claims in real life too involves blind faith. I cannot continue to be dishonest with myself so I choose to find answers while maintaining the position of 50/50. Right now I would say 80/20. Maybe I am an atheist at this point and that's fine. And Nobody initiated me into atheism/agnotism as MaxInDhouse claims. I have a working brain unlike some. 1 Like 1 Share |
Religion / Re: Does God Exist? by kimco(m): 12:57am On Feb 13 |
MaxInDHouse: That is not all you need to confirm that it's real. If both of you saw a man walking on air or water and you confirm the next person is seeing it too, you will believe without any investigation that indeed they are walking on water? Just because the other person agrees with you? Dude be skeptical in life. You will find out a lot in life this way. You won't be easily deceived as well. 1 Like 1 Share |
Religion / Re: Does God Exist? by kimco(m): 12:55am On Feb 13 |
Aemmyjah:what has this got to do with our argument please? |
Religion / Re: Does God Exist? by kimco(m): 7:49pm On Feb 12 |
MaxInDHouse:So if you saw someone walking on water you won't inquire if it real or they are pulling a trick on you? And those who question the legitimacy of what they see are the ones with something wrong with their brain? Imagine that. I have a "miracle" to show you later. But you are right about one thing, even if you say what you saw was real, you need to prove to others that what you saw was real, can you do that? Cos what you saw must also leave evidence to back your claim otherwise you might be hallucinating (happens).Irrefutable evidence is important to the scientific findings. When you see something, clarify it, if you see a thief in your house but no forced entry or stolen goods or footprint, just nothing and you still claim you saw someone in your house, then you need to check yourself. 1 Like 1 Share |
Religion / Re: Does God Exist? by kimco(m): 7:42pm On Feb 12 |
Aemmyjah:the issue is not whether it was built but who built or owns it. That's the actual argument. I know where you are going with this but the analogy is flawed because you missed what the actual inquiry was about. |

Dtruthspeaker: The Chris that I see I do not believe. Is it the Jesus I have not seen before that I should believe? When I have seen or not seen every claim must be subjected to scrutiny and evidenced beyond reasonable doubt. Also claims are not proof. The Bible is not proof, it's a claim. And the claims it made are not exclusive to it. I know you think the Bible is proof the only Godly book that exists but it's not...it's not even godly. 1 Like |

Aemmyjah: You asked a question, I answered you, you disregarded it and went ahead to preach your already prepared sermon even though I saw through it and stopped you in your tracks. My brother you are wrong. Seeing is not evidence, what you see must be evidenced and that goes for other things you cannot see. What about feel? What of smell what of taste? All these must still be subjected to scrutiny and evidenced otherwise why not believe in unicorns and dragons too. 2 Likes 1 Share |
Religion / Re: Does God Exist? by kimco(m): 4:48am On Jan 02 |
Aemmyjah: You must have evidence beyond reasonable doubt. Sight is one way but even our senses can be deceptive. So you need to scrutinize it. Example if I see Chris Angel walking on water, my skeptical brain would like to know how he did it. How did he defy the laws of physics? I cannot just believe it just because I saw it. You understand me? 2 Likes 1 Share |

Aemmyjah: Even then there is evidence of the builder. Either through photos them being alive, or at the very least their fossils. We cannot say same for a God. You believe, yes. You know, No you don't. Otherwise provide evidence. Claims do not count. Cause and effect. |

Major7: And what happens to the lean chickens and ram? They are saved ehh? Even if your analogy made sense, we can conclude that since all die be die, you might as well die a fat chicken than a lean one. |
