top 10 naruto plot holes 10 Shadow Clones Let’s start off the list with a Naruto one, his Shadow
Clones. Now, the strangest thing about these guys is
that they are taught as one of the simplest and easiest
jutsus to learn, and yet, they are one of the most
powerful jutsus ever. If you can master this jutsu you
can: Learn stuff much faster
Learn Rasengan much much faster
Train 100 times faster than the average ninja
Master senjutsu without having a toad on your
shoulder And so much more! And here’s the interesting part.
You won’t even know you’re learning! Even
though it’s so obvious you will not be able to notice
remembering what the clones remember until
someone really smart tells you. Now isn’t that
something, this is by far the most unique jutsu in the naruto world. 9 Hidan vs shikamaru Hidan has Shikamaru trapped. Shikamaru placed
paper bombs everywhere. Hidan has a sword type
thing in hand. All he has to do is charge and stab Shika
in the heart and he’s won. Hidan charges
and...............swings sideways? And goes for the blood?
WTF? Just stab him you idiot! Why are you doing that dumb ceremony thing, not only does it take longer but
you get hurt in the process. So why did you do it? Is
Hidan really that dumb? That stupid? Ugh, pretty much
confirms Hidan as the weakest and dumbest Akatsuki
member. 8 Itachi’s dead? Yes that’s right everyone, Itachi and Sasuke are
having their epic battle and when all has been said
and done Itachi is the clear winner and nothing
Sasuke does can stop him. BUT WAIT! Itachi is sick!
Yes, that’s right, Itachi had a sickness that we never
knew about until he was about to kill Sasuke and conveniently affected Itachi the most when he was on
the verge of victory. It’s almost like the author did it
because he had to quickly think of some random way
to get Sasuke to win! 7 Gaara I don’t really understand Gaara. First the guy is able
to teleport by using sand yet he only does it when you
first meet him and when he uses it before and after
Lee’s battle. Why didn’t he do that in his battle
against Deidara? Or against Kimimaro for that matter?
Why didn’t he flat out use it in battle? Apparently he’s able to use it to make a sand clone and he can
do it in the blink of an eye (see the Gaara vs. Lee
battle) yet he doesn’t do it. Why not do that in his
other battles, have Deidara hit a shell while he moves
along the sand? 6 Gaara shield And another thing, what’s up with his sand shield?
The thing is able to take the Extreme Lotus head on
and not break, but by taking a bunch of tiny little
bombs it breaks? In fact it doesn’t, you can see the
shield cracked as they carry Gaara. So.......that means
he wasn’t hit. So.........why doesn’t he move? Get up and run? WTF!? If you’re not hurt you get up and run!
You don’t let yourself get captured! You weren’t
even scratched! What is wrong with you Gaara!? What
in the mother of all things sandy is wrong with you!?
You didn’t even get touched! Gaara, you will always
be a mystery. 5 Naruto’s Unlimited chakra Yes, that’s right, just when you think Naruto has
reached his limit he pulls out more chakra. Why?
Because he has an unlimited supply of it of course!
After all, he can fight Orochimaru, fight that water
clone weird dude, fight Kiba, and do all that and still
stand despite having to use lots of Shadow Clones. And as even more proof, we see Naruto use tons and
tons of clones to defeat Gaara. Naruto’s about to die?
More Chakra! Heck, just give him the Toad Sage on top
of the hundreds of clones he’s spent chakra on. And
that doesn’t even include the 9-tailed fox’s chakra.
Good lord, how much chakra does he have, it’s like he has as much Pein without Rinnengan. Main
character has no special ability my butt. 4 Naruto vs Kakuzu Naruto has now just joined in to battle against Kakuzu,
a powerful Akatsuki member that has tentacleish
powers that let him do various things (that we won’t
go into detail about). He can hide the tentacles
underground and then use them to grab his
opponents, he can just move them at fast speed to uh........attack you. He can move them and get you
from behind, and while using other tentacle things to
come from the front, he can also shoot blasts and
attack straight at you. He can do just about anything.
He can attack in all directions at the same time. Also,
he is very smart, he has lived for a very long time, so long that he battled the 1st Hokage, he must be
extremely smart too, if he can do all sorts of tricks
with his unlimited experience he has fighting he must
be the strongest character ever (well not really but
you get the point). Yet, Naruto seems to have some
special ability that only affects Kakuzu: he can make him lose all his powers and become super stupid. It’s really a remarkable ability, when used,
Naruto’s opponent instantly loses all of their abilities
and smarts and becomes a very very very dumb ninja
that forgot how to use his attacks, that is quite a
powerhouse. Kakuzu was hit by this and instantly
forgot that he could put tentacle things underground and kill Naruto and that he could wipe out 4 shadow
clones easily with some fire, wind, and tentacle things
attack. In fact, he both forgot and lost the ability to do
so, leaving him helpless and someone who would fall
for the stupidest tricks. It is quite an amazing ability.
Only Naruto has this power, and he has only used it once. Whether he uses it again or not, we may never
know, but one thing’s for sure, Naruto is the best at
dumbing people down and never running out of
chakra. 3 Sasuke vs Deidara OMG! Sasuke and Deidara have little to no chakra left,
this is the end of the battle and it’s looking like a tie.
But wait! Apparently, if a user of the sharingan is
under a huge amount of stress and is scared that they
might die, then they automatically gain an infinite
amount of chakra (like Naruto) and are able to move and use jutsus at the speed of light. It is quite insane if
I don’t say so myself, makes me wonder how
Naruto will beat Sasuke (wait a sec, I’m forgetting
Naruto’s special powers). After all, could anyone
else dodge Deidara’s exploding attack with little to
no chakra left? I highly doubt it. And yet, Sasuke was able to gain an infinite amount of
chakra, use it to summon the giant snake Manda, then
cast a powerful genjutsu on it, then jump inside its
mouth, and all before Deidara’s bomb could touch
him despite the fact that they were 6 feet away. Very
very haxed, the Sharingan is by far a force to be reckoned with and one that everyone should fear, no
wonder Sasuke is always acting calm and cool in
dangerous situations. 2 fillers This one is quite strange. Guess what!? Naruto after 3
years of training learns how to use shadow clones
better and learns Odama Rasengan! What about
Sakura? She learned how to concentrate her chakra to
gain super strength and learned advanced healing
techniques. Sasuke? He learned an upgraded version of Chidori that surrounds his whole body and has
become very good at genjutsu and taijutsu.
Shikamaru? He learned an advanced Shadow
Posession attack. Hinata even learned some cool
attack where she summons these 2 chakra lions or
something to her left and right as she charges and has learned much good taijutsu. What about Chouji? Ino?
Kiba? Shino? Neji? Lee? Tenten? Temari?
Ur...............well............they
learned................to...........uh..............who are they
again? It is quite strange that they have learned no attacks in
3 whole years of training, nothing. When they do
battle all they do is use their same old attacks.
So......how did they become Chunnin then if they
didn’t learn anything new?
Uh....................well...................no more to be said than that really. Wait you want me to talk about them
more? But they’re just filler now........... 1 All right kids, time for a history lesson on the tailed
beasts in the Naruto world. In the world, there are 9
tailed beasts. They all live inside a human and at any
time can be brought out of the human so they can use
their full strength. BUT! There’s a catch! The only one
that is actually strong is the 9 tailed fox. All the others are very weak and can easily be beat with 1 or 2
strong ninja. The 1 tails was easily beat by a Genin and
strong summon. The 2 tails lost to 2 of the weakest
members of Akatsuki. 3 tails went the same way,
although it was really only 1 ninja, the other just ran
away. 4 tails got beat by merely one strong ninja. The 5-7 tails have unknown fates but if they didn’t last
long then they couldn’t of been that strong. 8 tails
was beat by 1 attack, 1 ATTACK! While the attack is
strong, it’s surprising at how easily it is to beat
theses beasts. Now then, what about the 9-tails? Oh, well, you see, the 9-tails unlike the others is super
strong, so strong that the legendary 4th Hokage had
to give his life to beat it. Not only that, but the
legendary leader of Akatsuki couldn’t even stop it
with his jutsu that took out everyone else. Quite
amazing, a force to be reckoned with. So it is now known that if you have a tailed beast inside you, it is
only going to help you if it has 9 tails. If it doesn’t,
you are screwed, and the amount of power it gives
you is minimal and you might as well just not rely on it
at all. Gaara learned that, he did that when he battled
Deidara. Completely ignored the tailed beast, yah Gaara sure is smart to do that. Gaara..........

Naruto has a 1001 plots holes and I can list them for you. However what you listed aren't even plot holes except naruto's excessive power, sasuke vs deidera and naruto vs kakuzu.

Gaara wasn't vanishing, he moved fast for the genins to see, hence, teleportation effects. Even his feracious sand was stopped by gi sensei with one hand. something that was too much forlee to handle.

Also gaara got captured after exhausting himself of chakra after moving that huge block of sand that was directly below his village. Deidera knew he cared for his people and used this to his advantage. And deidera's bomb are anything but small explosive. They are extremely potent.

I dnt even get your complaints about shadow clones at all. They are forbidden for a reason.

By fillers, do you mean fodders? Also every one improved. Infact, most improved more than naruto after the time skip till kishi started giving him abilities left and right. Maybe they didn't improve enough but there was some improvement.

1tail was captured because he cares too much for his people. 2tails got captured by two immortals. 4th one got captured a ninja that uses your chakra against you and since tailed beast have a lot of chakra and fight with them, you should understand this. The 6tails is female in a male's body. 8tails one tail got captured by highly motivated new recruits who were very dangerous but got beaten to near death themselves, only for a single tail. Had naruto fought kisame in beast mode he would have lost, or even had he fought nagato himself instead of god pain then he would have lost too. And the fourth didn't die saving the village from the 9tails. He. Died because he wanted to seal half the nine tails in his son and also to store a bit of his and his wife's chakra in their son so that they could see him one more time when the time was right (very very very nonsensical reason, the second one)

Naruto makes its villains usually less than opponents, so gang up on them.....OP makes its villains equal in number so that kind of gang work won't do. Their own team spirit comes with going against their match. That's why Usopp will run away from Doflamingo and go shooting Sugar from a distance and its happened several times...and they all know who they've got to beat at every time. You say OP has no teamwork because you only have 1 perspective of it....yet they're still good on that your perspective....Straw Hats vs Odz, StrawHats vs Pacifista....etc.

Lol what are you talking about? What naruto makes us know is that no villain is above good planning and collective abilities that are capable. Does that mean that 10 genins can defeat kakuzu? No, cos they are not capable. Even against pain with all the knowledge and help naruto was brought down till 9tails came to the rescue. But atleast we are taught the essence of fighting as a team. The pirate theme which should automatic mean teammates, ergo, teamwork shows them splitting up to fight their enemies one on one. Funny though that their numbers always match too. Zorro could finish his fight and sit back and witness luffy get pounded yet tell his friends that they should have faith in him and that he will come through for the team. Preaching rubbish about team work and how it'll be against the pride of each member to receive help from anoda member. That is not teamwork that's nonsense. Waay to help ur friend in need, faith in a friend to pull thru being a punching bag is not friendship, it's stupidity.

Lol. Dudes relax. OP is a story. Naruto is just a series of fight. What OP achieved with just 578 chapters, Naruto couldn't achieve it with 700 chapters. Its clearly the better series. And those saying OP has no teamwork clearly don't really know what team work is all about. Sanji once told Usopp, in this crew, you do what you can do best and I do what you can't. That's teamwork.
If your idea of teamwork is 9people jumping on 1 person only then you don't know about it. And those who boast with Naruto just praise its fights as for its story, too many plot holes. But OP perfects its story and those who wants to see only fights will only complain of pacing. Lol.

Did you say op is for story? Hahahahahhaahahahhahahahahahhhaha, my lawd. What story? It's for adventure. The thrill of an adevnture. I ddon't click with the take on adventure in OP, however I will not say it a bad adventure manga. It does it pretty well. Others?its below average. Especially the pacing. The worse pacing in any manga yet. How does the lack of fights affect the complaints people have about the pacing? They are mutually exclusive you know that, right?

Naruto started as a great new take on shounen. Felt different (after watching dbz and samurai x at that time) and the fights scenes and the world of chakra with all it mysteries is what got me hooked. It lost it way painfully after the time skip. The beginning of shippuden was good too. Not great, but okayish.

Got into Naruto early and followed it up while loving every bit of it for years, all the while having no idea One piece existed. 3 years ago, a friend recommended and shared One piece with me, having an open mind I delved into it, and got hooked. I kept looking forward to my nights of just laying back,eating supper and binge watching OP while in class having a lecture ( even the earliest episodes from Don Krieg to Along and the cr*ppy art was a cool enough). With promises of getting better, I didn't rush and skip, I just enjoyed an episode at a time.

And One piece became my No1 anime, there's just something about it I can't identify that makes it so special, and why its super loved. Ask any True OP fan, they can't really say why they love it ( its not just the story, there are many awesome animes with beautiful stories/plot).

After catching up to OP I watched and read H×H up to date,

One Piece still takes up my whole heart, i still dig Naruto, but will chose OP over it anytime. One Piece has its flaws (lots of it) but its flaws makes it perfect. And if you're complaining about the Nakama ish, you haven't watched fairytail.

The companionship thingy in One Piece is natural, take a squad or platoon in a real life army, every member trains together, fight together, bleed together and face death together, its only natural that a strong bond will form amongst them. They will lookout for one another, protect one another and possibly take a bullet for one another. when all is hopeless, they retreat ( Sabaody Archipelago, Luffy gave the order for the SH to flee, when fighting a losing battle against Kizaru and Kuma).
The same bond applies with SH crew, they're practically family , and families believes and protect one another.

Everyone should ask themselves this, 'When one of your family member is threatened, kidnapped or hurt by someone else, won't you fight for that family member, protect him/her and go to the ends of the earth to rescue em at any cost

When Luffy figures out that his defeat will mean the death of the SH, drained of strength and energy he picks himself up and fights on with willpower alone ( same principle with mothers having their limiters removed and having herculean strength to lift off or stop a car that may hit or crush their babies that wandered onto a road).

To end this post, let's all just have a roster..

Also for an anime which has the theme of pirates, the friendship thing is overdone to the level of my little pony. Since the beginning, Luffy has always been helped except against Lucci & his worst nightmare was in Sabaordy & Marineford. This is a shounen where the mangaka would choose a protagonist be it one, two or more.

No one helped Gon while he was fighting Pitou, he even got an insane power up to be able to prevail re: Pitou was way outta Gon's league. Tell me who Usopp has fought that's way out of his league?

You mean the fact that he jeopardised his life just to gain an insane amout of power just for a short time so he could defeat pitou, with the nen turning his body into mashed yam and toxic to any one that tried to heal him? Yeah definitely the same as usopp's fight, totally comparable.

To answer your second question, almost every one he faced within the first 300+ episodes.

I know there was a cop out for gon when he got healed with no consequence to killua or anyone at all but in the manga's defence, they dedicated like 10 anime episodes to finding the cure for him. Had it been luffy a bandage would have done the trick with him jumping and eating and drinking the next scene. That's the difference.

Funny enough Usopp is a sniper and a coward. He tries as much as possible not to have a face off with any strong opponent.

Yesn but it happens anyways and he comes out victorious, when he really shouldn't and even then harddly any one bothers to go help him. It'll be better to tag team with the guy and atlleast fight 2 on 2 than leave him to fight someone who might be waaaaay out of his league.

Sadly that's because kishi only developed Sasuke and Naruto after the Chuunin exam. Sasuke even got powered up just by sitting in a dark room blindfolded

Oh u have no idea how much I hated the all mighty azzpull powerups during the ninja war. Naruto gained more power and stamina (the guy never run out of chakra) in a day than sarutobi gained in his entire ninja life.

Ah Gou in Feng Shen Ji, I can go on and on, it's a norm. If you wanna see a better storyline change the genre of anime you watch. If it's one piece vs Naruto, one piece wins; other characters get screen time and they develop well far better than in Naruto.

Even though I must admit naruto isn't better on that front, he didn't do that against nagato man. He actually got beaten till he turned into a tailed beast. But the amount of nakama power ups in one piece is ridiculously higher than naruto. Any attempt to justify this is simply rationalisation at its best. I'm not a fan of shounen mangas that turn out this way. Also I don't need to change the genre to see different stuff, fma: brotherhood and hunter x hunter exist. Even attack on titan and to a small extent, sword art online season 1 part 1.

Man I would kill to have a story that focuses on gaara and villains like kakuzu and kisame. All round ruthless manga/anime, no more emotional crap.

Yes..this. When I watch them fight I don't fear for any of the characters. Even usopp and nami who are weaklings are sure to win their fights...you don't fear for them, cos...nakama power. Who in their right minds would leave usopp to a well seasoned pirate to face off? But nakama power so......yeaaaaah!

There are a lot of bad guys Luffy can't defeat. He couldn't save Ace from Aomine remember?
And Whitebeard was the one fighting the strongests there was at Marine fold.

The problem isn't he winning fights as much as he being the one facing them. But upto where I stopped watching, luffy was defeating every bad guy he was faced with. That was episode 300+. 300+ episodes with nothing of substance happening. Against cp9 fighters the guy kept being beaten and he kept coming back till he won the final fight. What a chore it was to watch. I remember anoda fight where he won (same boooring way) and zorro had one guy transfer the pain into him instead, bit by bit, and luffy was okay drinking and dancing and zorro who was in a bad shape himself before taking in luffy's extreme pain actually got to "live and tell the story " I stopped right there.

I watch most shounen manga for the action cos let's face it, their plots are average (good ones are good, not great but good enough, like hunter x hunter, fma: brotherhood is great though)

Maybe things have changed for the better, I din't know, but I won't waste my time trying to find out.

Randomly having good fights here and there is way different from good story telling. You just mentioned fights, but all those events after the Pain arc was to pave way into the war...and the war arc had just too many asspulls and stupidities. Actually what made Naruto epic generally is the fights that's why you see someone talking of handseals as if its an achievement but the summary of Naruto story is this....Naruto: Sasukeeeee. Sakura: (tears)Sasuke.
I've watched both series and am up to date on both, manga and anime...OP has better development and story. [/s] naruto has a great storyline. one of the best plots ever. the storyline spans generations. reading ur comment, one would think you havent watched naruto before. I don't know how good one piece storyline is but all I know is that out of all animes I've seen, naruto has the best

Hahahhahahaha oh baddest, you always make me laff. Naruto's plot one of the best? Hahahahahhahahahahahhahahahaha, oh my sides. Not op or naruto have good storylines. They are both average on that front. Op does adventure quite well and naruto does fights very well too. That's what keeps them going not storylines. Storyline don't sell mangas, deathnote and fma:brotherhood should have taught you that.

N.B. Just like some series especially Breaking Bad & Game of Thrones that started "slowly" & people dropped it not knowing their error, that is the same for Onepiece.
Note also that It is not a "straight forward" manga like Naruto with a one-direction plot, NO.
It is not about a "goofy or silly" kid shouting up & down that he wants to be a king, NO. It is much more than that. Just like BB or GOT, Onepiece is about intrigues, plot, suspense, TEARS (nobody has followed this manga & not cry whether you are 30, 40 or 50 years old---you must cry cos it is sure).
Like GOT, you have to google for information, conspiracy theories, clues, etc
Lest I forget, every detail counts....any word, comment or sentence that comes out of even a baby, is very important you remember them cos the "mangaka" pays DETAIL attention to every word he makes.
For instance, a useless comment in chapter 2 may be relevant for you later in chapter 600. The manga is much more than a "pirate crew" that are having fun but it is all about a fun-filled Adventure

That might be true, but unlike the series u mentioned, it takes far too many episodes for one piece to pick up pace and even then it'll drop it again. Do you know the most fraustrating thing? Luffy get beaten so much but keeps coming back and finally beating the bad guy. Why can't we have a decent fight scene where teamwork prevailed. Everyone is assigned to someone to fight, booooooooooooooring.

Yh d seals are awesome nd d fighting style is superb too. I watch OP nd love it buh ill take d fighting style in naruto over OP, d way dey can turn a strength to a weakness the use of brains too fight against not just brawn alone d combination of attacks by different shinobi, a naruto character wud be fighting an enemy nd at d same time whipping up strategies in his head to be able to beat his enemy.
Come on u guys look at wat 4th hokage in d war how he directed dem to attack simultaneously with attacks dat count.
I have to confess Naruto is one of d series u see how team work is used to d fullest plus it only brawn dey use their brains too.
