I have always said it the Nigerian government needs to do something about the officials at the airport both custom and immigration .
The bad eggs amongst them are more described as uniformed beggers who make statements like:

These are statements that shouldnt be coming out of Officers of the federal republic of Nigeria.

The psychological orientation of most of the officer is wrong. They feel cause they are under payed they can make times 3 of their salary if they are sharp.

Actually sir, I was born into the muslim family but I have problems with Religion (both Christianity and Islam) and whenever I try to be strong in my faith, my curiosity, skepticism makes me disbelieve all these religions as a agent of chaos and confusion in this world. I have no problem with what my kids decide to choose. In my family, there are christians and muslims. I have male and female relatives who have turned from Christians to Muslims and vice versa. To back this claim up: there is this christian lady that got married to a Muslim guy. After two years Of marriage the guy started following ladies up and down,mind you they have a child already: when it is getting out of hand, the lady went to the guys parent to report the matter to them.

Listen and understand. The religion with God is one and that is to submit to the will of God. We both share similar belive because God sent the truth to we humans via His messengers to make us acknowledge the truth and make it easy for us to earn his mercy through obedience to his commandments.
Judaism, Christianity and Islam are 3 major religions that share similar believe but only some slight difference in terms of the personalities mentioned in their holy books.

OP, don't let anyone deceive you that Islam is not peace. Some muslims may not be at peace because they don't fully follow the revelation of the Quran and teachings of the prophet. Don't learn Islam from muslims but rather the Quran and authentic Hadith.

Sects in Islam is not allowed as indicated in the Qur'an but as human nature, they may have transgressed. I am a Muslim (one who submits to the will of God) and I follow the teachings of the prophet sent by God. That should be your response to any invitation for sects.

But what is God saying as you have misinterpreted, since you are a muslim with some sins that deserve eternal punishment, and you die without repenting, God says he would punish one for a while and then pardon them finally.

I know you may want to say all Christians are going to heaven but the truth is there are still born again people that fornicates or take bribes. You mean God would overlook all that and just admit them to paradise without questioning?!

A little Islamic fundamentals for you:
A muslim is one who worships God alone without associating partners in worship with him.
Now what is the religion of Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Joseph, David since they all came before Christ. The answer is Islam(People who submit to God without associating partners in worship with him).
Jesus Christ the Messiah, Son of Mary is a blessed prophet and messenger of God. His creation is a display of God greatness.
God created Adam from nothing(Clay), Eve from Adam (man), Jesus from Mary (woman), and you and I from our parents (Man and Woman). This indicates that God is indeed able to do all things.
Abraham was sent as a messenger, same was Noah, Moses, David, Jesus, and Mohammed. And we're given scriptures as a guidance to their people. Jesus Christ was given the gospel as a guidance for the people of Isreal. And whoever doesn't follow his guidance would not be successful in the hereafter. The guidance of the gospel as revealed to Jesus is the true guidance. But with all due respect man has added some words into the Bibles we have today. But the pure scripture that God revealed to Jesus indicates Jesus saying:
My Father is greater than I. Jesus never called himself God in the bible.

Muslims worship the creator not his creation.

To be saved all you need do is to be obedient to the commandments of God and do not take partners with God and believe in all the books revealed to all the messengers, believe in the angels, preordainment and seek forgiveness from God with sincerity hoping for the best in this life and the hereafter

To be a muslim all you have to say is: I testify there's no deity worthy of worship but God and I testify Abraham /David/Moses/Jesus /Mohammed is the messenger of God.

To become a good muslim don't learn islam from the muslims but rather from the Quran and authentic hadith. And keep good company that would teach you real islam and it's beauty. Don't rush things.

Islam has Five pillars : Believe in God alone without no patners in his dominion, 5 daily Salat (Prayer), Fasting, Charity(Zakat ) and going on pilgrimage if one has the capacity.

Your family might find it hard believing that you become a muslim. But you must stand your ground on what you believe. But you should treat them kindly and with respect aswell. Because when you die, you go to your grave alone and you would be accountable for your deeds alone. So don't compromise your hereafter after knowing the truth.

I'll advice if you are in Lagos you go to a good mosque to take your testimony of faith. I'll recommend Lekki Mosque because it's a standard mosque with an intelligent imam who would guide you on the truth.You can go to any mosque close to you though.

Muslims pray their 5 daily prayers towards the east, towards the city of Makkah, and more specifically, towards the Kaaba. The Kaaba is a small cubical structure, which is called the sacred house (bayt al-haram) and also refered to as the sacred mosque (masjid al-haram). The prayer direction towards the kaaba, is known as the Qibla, which basically means the prayer direction of the Muslims.

So why do Muslims pray east and towards the kaaba? There are some notable misconceptions from non-Muslims concerning the prayer direction. For example some believe that Muslims are in fact directly praying to the kaaba, the cubical structure. This is not the case, while Muslims pray towards the kaaba, they are not praying to the kaaba. Another misconception is that Muslims believe that Allah literally dwells-lives inside the kaaba, and this again is not the case, Muslims do not believe that Allah lives inside the structure.

In regards to the kaaba, as Muslims we believe it was the first house of worship, built by the Prophet Adam (pbuh), after then we believe the worship site was restored by the prophets Abraham and his son Ishmael (peace be upon them both). In Islam the sanctuary of the kaaba in the city if Makkah, is considered to be the holiest site in Islam, and it’s because of these reasons that it is considered to be holy, not because we believe that Allah lives in the kaaba or because we pray to the kaaba.

So why does God command the Muslims to all face towards the kaaba when praying? The reason behind this is down to unity, in sharing the same focal point of prayer, it is meant to show a major unity amongst the Muslims. Indeed, when one thinks of it, it is a very impressive feature that you have more than 1 billion Muslims, no matter where they are, all praying in the same direction.

Something that should also be clarified, is that it is only in the Muslim prayers that Muslims are to face towards the east, for example if a Muslim simply wants to supplicate to God, known as ‘dua’ in Islam, he/she doesn’t have to be facing towards the east for that.

You can only have forgiveness of sin(singular) in Jesus Christ. You are not a sinner because you sin, you sin as a sinner.
On the contrary anyone who believes in Jesus Christ's death and resurrection for his or her sins and justification is no more a sinner, he or she has become righteous before God in Christ. He/She is righteous not because he/she may not sin but because Jesus was made his/her sin on the cross when he died (2 Corinthians 5:21). That is what Satan does not want you and Mohammed to understand. Until you cross from being a sinner to being righteous by faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, you may ask God forgiveness of sins (plural) like any Christian may do but your sin (singular) of rejecting God's own provision for your eternal rescue from Satan's kingdom still remains. So if I ask for forgiveness and you do the same, the purpose and end result is different. I remain righteous (not by my works but because of Jesus) but you remain in you sin(singular) after the sins(plural) are forgiven.

God made us, He knows what we needed, He provided it by sending Jesus to die and by raising him from the dead. The spirit that appeared to Mohammed doesn't want you to believe it, he gave Mohammed a message that will sound religiously okay but denying the power of salvation provided by God through the cross of Jesus. That's the case and I pray that, if indeed you are honest about being guided on the right path, God will open your eyes like He opened mine.

Christians become Muslims, same way Muslims become Christians.
