Your comparison of these two dissimilar events (Lekki toll gate and Wike's altercation with soldiers) is visibly out of place. In the case of Lekki toll gate, Nigerian youths were massacred in numbers and the State had to deny it without even a compensation to families.

Whereas, in Wike's case no life was wasted, despite the fact that Wike embarrassed and abused his office by confronting the officers personally. FCT land is not for Mr. Wike. The land in FCT is for the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Tomorrow his time is up and nobody will remember him anymore. Best approach would have been to approach the legal institutions like the courts to secure an injection to halt progress till further notice. He calls himself a lawyer, but he's a very lawless person.

The minister didn’t just ask for a time on arise tv, he asked so that he can clear this same allegation against him by same Rufai yesterday when PDP Segun Showunmi was on arise tv yesterday to talk about the road projects by the ministry of works.
