Truth be told I don’t know those supporting this man thinking he is their saviour when the relevant people(his inner circus) are leaving him. Example Valentine Ozigbo, Obaze Osekola and co .

Kenneth Okonkwo was on Arise Newsnight to blame INEC for putting bottlenecks to prevent registering a new party.

Why exactly cant they collapse everyone into PDP? Why can't they use LP?

To be honest, the opposition has not galvanized themselves properly. They have materials they could use, but treat them poorly. Segun Sowumi is singing a new song. Osita Chidoka resigned from PDP. Dino Melaye is somewhere enjoying his life, waiting for Atiku to clinch the ticket so he can come demonstrate his talents for destructive and childish campaigns. Phrank Shaibu is silent. Nduka Obaigbena gave Tinubu man of the year award despite his failed efforts to undermine Tinubu during campaign. Timi Frank is no where to be found. Don Pedro Obaseki has not paid Seun Okinbaloye bet money following the defeat of PDP in Edo State. He promised Seun 5 million naira. PDP governors are decamping. Obaseki has disappeared.

How did Tinubu cause any of these? Certainly not his good works. The opposition lacks a focal point.

You don't even get the point. He's trying to identify an anomaly in the system. A president who'd also eventually contest an election shouldn't be the one to appoint the electoral chairman. It was wrong for past presidents to have done so. The summary of everything is that there should be a change in who appoints the inec chairman and also Chief justice. There should be a commission saddled with this purpose so that they don't fall under undue influence of the president who appoints them

I get his point so also everyone here, but believe me his point was made from a biased mind, if Peter Obi were to be the president, will he make the same point? Capital NO.
What we need is strong institutions, not all these arguments that doesn’t hold water, the argument that the president shouldn’t make an appointment because he is a candidate in an election is not reasonable for me, the most important thing is having the right person and a strong institutions.
Perhaps if the president does not make INEC chairman appointment which is subject to confirmation by the council of state and the National Assembly who will then?
