@bolded you're right but majority of them use the gratuity to build a permanent house without investing on it, most use it to get shuttle buses, but their monthly pension funds barely last them for a month cos of the way things are costly here.
If you're a young chap in Akwa Ibom with the zeal to hustle and get a better career then it's just to leave the state unless you have connections and maybe would be contented with the mediocre civil service while your contemporaries are making it big in other States

it was true, initially that was what Udom actually planned on doing but it was met with protest and resistance by labour Congress so he backed off.
Those two people you mentioned above sha they're just trying to give the state a good image cos majority of you lots are known for belittling and underrating Akwa Ibomites, though the governors are not trying at all to improve on the situation of it's citizens but then the propaganda to over rate Udom has been so excessive.
I'm currently going out with one female corper here and she said she actually choosed Akwa Ibom cos of the hyped and she actually thought AKS is a haven only to come down here and was disappointed.

He's steady working in Akwa Ibom, me and u have never told him he should go back to Rivers along with his brothers and sisters in Akwa Ibom.
