It's not a thread for comparison. However talking about comparison the clown Hunchogee aka Ilaumoh started the bullshit and I showed him that he's a learner.

Take nothing from it Akwa Ibom is a beautiful state with beautiful people, however when you see someone overstepping his boundaries there is a need to put him/her in check.

Also it's a good thing to sell your state in a good way as to encourage people to come invest, but when you start writing lies upon lies including fallacies and fantasy dreams I begin to frown at you.
I never attack any SS state because I'm a preacher of SS unity, but Hunchogee aka Ilaumoh's lies on a daily basis leaves me with no option.

Cos I doubt if there is any state in the deep coastal parts of the south-south without islands.

Don't forget that Akwa Ibom sits somewhere close to the Cameroon line- an area that is very famous for its island chains and volcanicity.

I would be damned if Akwa Ibom does not have at least 20 Islands. I said at least 20. It could be more.

I used to have a map of Nigeria back. It was sort of detailed. In that map, there some tiny unnamed/unmarked dots right beneath A/Ibom's shoreline. Those could be Islands.

Yes Akwa Ibom has islands but tiny and mostly uninhabited/uninhabitable. It's just piece of lands made of rocks bulging out of the sea coast.

When it comes to true island only states like Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Lagos have them

Things like this if its someone with sense he is supposed to atleast do a youtube video to back his point. Tourism is about what you see, if people dont see it they wont talk about it. I was expecting a video tour on Ibeno beach, but nothing.

There are islands, but mostly uninhabited/uninhabitable.
Most are just tiny portions of very small rocks that cant hold human life. 38 though is an exaggerated.

Ibeno is the LGA with the longest coastline and most of its coast is made of sandy beaches. These are natural not man made, however the Akwa Ibom state government is not doing the needful on that beach.

It's supposed to be one of the best beaches if not the best in Nigeria, but its location and locals are not helping matters.

This is the kind of things clowns like Ilaumoh aka Hunchogee should be showcasing to bring in tourist from all over Nigeria and the world at large, rather he is busy with propaganda.

Ibeno beach is cool no doubt, but those disorganised bars should be cleaned, arranged and events should be hosted there atleast yearly.
Also those local touts extorting money from people should be chased away.

Ibeno beach is a goal.

Between Q3 2017 and Q3 2018, only 8 States recorded a reduction in their unemployment rates despite an increase in the national unemployment rate. Akwa Ibom State Reports Highest Unemployment Rate of 37.7% in Q3 2018 - NBS

Summary
This report presents the state breakdown of the results of the Labour Force Survey earlier publsihed by the National Bureau of Statistics.

Unemployment and Underemployment rates vary across states according to the nature of economic activity predominant in each State. States with higher focus on seasonal agriculture tend to have higher rates of underemployment compared to unemployment. This may swing from high full-time employment during periods of planting and harvest, when they are fully engaged on their farms, to periods of high underemployment and even unemployment at other periods in between.

States with a higher propensity for women to be housewives or stay home husbands or that havenegative attitudes to working tend to have lower unemployment rates, as they are not considered part of the labor force in the first place, and as such have no bearing on the rate of unemployment. (You have to be within the labor force to be employed, underemployed and unemployed and you are ot part of the labor force if you are not looking for work even if you dont work). Such States tend to have a higher proportion of their economically active populations (those aged 15 – 64) outside the labor force, thereby reducing the number available and looking for work, and the number that can be unemployed or underemployed.

State unemployment is a “moment-in-time” index only and can change quite quickly. It is therefore, advisable to be cautious in comparing trends, particularly amongst States, because of the ease of movement across State borders, as job seekers search for employment or economic opportunities in other states. Favourable conditions in one state may lead to an influx of jobseekers in that state and in the process increasing unemployment in the perfoming state, while reducing the unemployment rate in the originating state. This may give a false impression that the state with the lower unemployment rate is perfoming better.

In Q3 2018, Akwa Ibom state reported the highest unemployment rate (37.7%).
