Samson sat in his office smiling,
"I guess I am the next" he muttered to himself he started laughing when he thought of the bomb he was about dropping.

"Hello secretary call Kingsley to my office"

"Yes sir" the secretary replied him

Kingsley wondered what Samson wanted for him to ask to see him

"If only he knows he will not be in that office soon enough" he muttered to himself has he got to the Samson's office floor

The secretary waved him straight in without any asking any questions

He knocked on the door expecting to wait like five minutes before he will be answered

"Come right in" he heard from the office

He opened the door quietly, an habit that he still couldn't shake off

"When you have an intruder but he doesn't know that he his lousy you simply prove it to him with the facts by getting into the house quietly and making sure for him to be surprised before dealing with him" his coach words were ringing in his head

Samson raised his head to find Kingsley looking right at him

"Have your seat and you didn't tell me you were a ghost" he told Kingsley

You called me sir? Kingsley asked him

Yes, why did you think I called you?

"I don't know sir" Kingsley replied him

I guess I am your next target? Samson asked

What do you mean sir? Kingsley asked him

"Come on don't pretend, you know, I was the one who told your dad about the stalker and I am the same person that Stephen knows as shadow" Samson told him before continuing his speech

"I told your dad to leave the country for sometime but he told me he had a breathtaking project he couldn't leave halfway so I just told him to be careful, even if he was to die he should make sure to keep you safe" Samson continued staring levely at Kingsley

"I didn't know his friend was going to be a victim and you know Jane is in the company now but she probably doesn't know that a lot of things happened before her father's death which you know yourself"

"I was there to see the project your dad was talking about when you made that call and he asked you if it worked on you but I knew it was about the project"

"Ever since the day you came I knew that you and Stephen will have the same pattern of dealing with your enemies so I simply called him that I will take care of his enemies for him for free he askes me to do but I always know your next target so I don't have to worry about employing anyone for it"

I am a genius right? He asked Kingsley

Kingsley looked at him for a long time in silence

Why are you telling me this? He asked

"Because I am not your next target, there was suppose to be someone else who would go to Dr Felix house to kill him and his family" Samson replied

"Find out that person, that is your next target"

"Your dad said you were smarter that he and your mother put together and they are probably the smartest people I know in the world, I come third after them"

"Find that person out and you will have my respect and I will delay giving Stephen your identity for now" he told Kingsley before continuing his work

You knew mother? Kingsley asked

How would I have known she was smart if we were not acquainted?

Kingsley looked at him then

"You are a genius yes, but I will prove to you that I am smarter than the three of you put together" Kingsley told him before standing up

Kingsley sighed has he walked out with Jane, he only took care of Samuel yesterday and today he had to plan on taking out Samson so the stage will be left for him and Stephen.

And he knew he had to do that before he will be discovered either by Stephen or any of his order colleagues, he was walking in deep thoughts when Stephen also walking in deep thoughts walked into him.

"Watch where you are going young man" Stephen told him after they had disentangled themselves

"I am sorry sir" Kingsley replied him bowed

"It is okay you should go and work hard" Stephen told him before walking away

"Yes sir" he turned towards his office with his heart beating fast

"That was close" he muttered to himself

Stephen walked towards the chairman office with trepidation, who would have thought all his colleagues will be disgraced out of office and he didn't still know who was behind it yet.

"I have to put more sources to find out and not depend on shadow" he muttered to himself before walking towards the chairman secretary

"I want to see the chairman" he told the secretary

"You can go right in" the secretary told him before continuing her work

Stephen walked to the door but stopped when he heard a sentence from the chairman
"I am going to change the beneficiary of my shares"

To who? Stephen asked himself

"Come in" Stephen heard the chairman call out

He walked into the office to see the chairman seating on his Chair and writing on a document he hoped was not for the transfer of shares.

"Good morning sir" he greeted the chairman standing

"Good morning" the chairman answered looking up at him

"Have your seat"

"Thank you sir"

What is going on Stephen? The chairman asked him

"I don't understand you sir" Stephen replied

I mean what is going on with all your colleagues and why is now your dirty secrets is being revealed? Mr Joseph asked him again

"I don't know anything about what they have being hiding and who is targeting them sir" Stephen replied the chairman

"Just send Samuel out of the company and do it quietly please the governor and other board members are not happy with what is going on" he told Stephen

"I will do that sir" Stephen replied him

"You can leave now I am busy" the chairman told him before continuing his work

Kingsley sat in his work space thinking in all the years he had left the country only Samson had a clean slate which means he had to shut him up or dig deeper to get any information on him

The chairman sat in deep thoughts his decision to change the beneficiary of his shares was hastily planned, he needed to retire but he couldn't hand over the company to Stephen so he needed staying on until he was brought down.

Kingsley sighed has he looked through the information he had with him, the Flash drive contained dirty things he could not have imagined if he wanted to frame Samuel.

"At least it would help in turning everyone against him and making it possible for him to be sacked in the company" he muttered to himself

He smiled has he got what he wanted from the many recordings Samuel had on his Flash drive, it was an audio of Samuel and his colleagues discussing on how to kill the chairman.

"The time will be just fine for the final" he muttered to himself.

Mr Joseph sat in his office with his hands clasped, he couldn't shake the feeling that the visit Stephen gave him today was a suspicious one

"They are planning something, but they don't know that I am up to the task" he muttered to himself

"I will be waiting for that moment" he continued with a smile

Stephen paced around has he placed a conference call to all his five colleagues

"It has been a real long time" he told the men immediately they picked the call

How have you guys being? Samson asked

"We have being fine, has long has the chairman will go down for making that decision I will continue to remain fine" Michael replied Samson

"I think we will have to shift the date for taking down the chairman" Stephen told the men

Why should we do that? Samuel asked

Early the next Kingsley was smiling has everyone held their phones discussing about the latest news on the companies platform

The team leader stood with Jane and the rest of the members with a gloomy face

"Samuel is the least I expect to be involved in this type of scandal, imagine defrauding a company and still telling us about work ethics and honesty" he told the group with a sigh

"I can't even imagine it at all" one of them told the team leader

What is going on? Kingsley asked has he got in the office

"Good morning guys" he greeted before throwing a mischievous smile at Jane

Jane turned to her desk quickly, she didn't dare look the team leader in the face

Hey Jane did you sleep well last night? Kingsley asked Jane has she walked to her desk

"The jerk, he doesn't know how to to differentiate business and pleasure" she muttered to herself before replying him

"Yes, thank you"

Kingsley was smiling, the team leader was facing him now

"I don't know about you, but you shouldn't bring romance to this team you know it would reduce our efficiency as a team you know" the team leader told Kingsley who was still smiling

"Common man that kind of romance will only make me more efficient" Kingsley replied the team leader

Everyone was staring at them now, Kingsley stopped smiling the attention was getting quite too much for him.

He walked over to Jane grabbed her hand and lead her out of the office with the other team members staring after them.

They were both silent for sometime before Kingsley asked

Dammit!!! Kingsley cursed while he laid on the floor,he knew Samuel had something sinister planned but he thought he would be outside the house before he struck

"He his smarter than I thought" he muttered to himself, he calculated how many seconds it would take his wounds to heal before he made any attempt to get up, it was already forty seconds, five more seconds and he would be out of the house.

Five seconds later, the men were drawing closer to the unmoving man when in one fluid movement he stood up and before they could raise their guns he was already out through the fence.

To say they were surprised was an understatement, they all stood at the place he was lying before in shock two gunshot wounds and he could still get out through the fence.

"He was not wearing a bullet proof, I am very sure of that" Mr Samuel told the group when he joined them expecting to see the body of the intruder on the ground dead

He stood in shock when he came there and met his men standing and staring at the fence and when he looked at the floor it was empty

Where is he? He asked the leader

"I was sure he was not wearing a bullet proof but how he managed to heal himself with seconds and go through the fence is surprising" he replied Samuel

"Go after him immediately he couldn't have gone very far, he has things that must stay within the walls of this house" he told the men

He paced around before he took out his phone and called Stephen

" Hello Stephen, I think I am in trouble"

Stephen smiled at the other end of the phone
What do you mean you are in trouble? He asked Samuel
"You and I know you are too secured to be in trouble" he continued

"Someone just got away with information that shouldn't leave this house, he knew the house so well he had no trouble getting the information, something is telling me the chairman is involved" he replied Stephen

"The chairman will not be so petty and send people to your house just to get information so discard that thought and don't even think about hitting the chairman he his well secured and well connected for that" he told Samuel

"I want to make a call I will call you so we can discuss about how we will tackle the problem before the information gets out" he told Samuel before stopping the call.

Did you succeed? He asked over the phone

"As I suspected there is another person. I will call you when I have the details we can talk about it when I do" he told Stephen

Jane sighed has she watched him stare at Samuel and his other colleagues, it made her wonder if they were involved in her father's death.

Hey Kingsley... She called to Kingsley
"You have a beautiful lady seating before you and you are looking elsewhere, pretending that she thought he was looking at the lady not far from Samuel's table" she told Kingsley

Kingsley turned to her and smiled mischievously
"Phew, I have a real jealous friend you know" he replied her

What? Jane fired at him

"I am not jealous of anyone and besides you are not my type, so stop making things up in your naughty mind" she continued without waiting for his reply

Kingsley smiled has she told him that he was not her type
"You are the one making things up here I never said anything about type or even if it was that lady I was looking and besides, you are not my type too so stop making things up in your naughty mind" Kingsley retorted still smiling

"Enough of the jokes already, it reminds me of what it use to be with my dad" he continued before picking up his spoon to eat his food

"You should leave behind the shadows of your dad's death and move on with your life Kingsley, my dad died quite the wrong type of death you know" Jane picked up her spoon to eat too

At that moment Kingsley looked up at her to see her expression from what she told him but has his eyes got to he hand and the way she picked up her spoon, a realisation hit him.

It was Jane, so many questions were already on his mind

How many people knew about him already and how manydid he know himself?

If it was Jane did she know he was the one?

Only one thing came to mind, she knew he was the one and she knew who he was looking at but was pretending

Kingsley walked in the dark towards Samuel's house everywhere was too quiet and easy for him to actually believe he was going into a easy job.

"He his prepared for anything and I won't disappoint" he muttered to himself smiling mischievously in the dark.

He ran full speed to a part of the fence jumping and clinging on the top without any sound from him before jumping into the building

He walked quietly to the front of the house looked through the windows with his infrared glasses he smiled as he knocked the door.

The doorbell was answered immediately by Samuel himself exactly what he was expecting.

The moment Samuel opened the door he knew something was wrong because a strong hand immediately grabbed him by the throat before leading him to the back of the house.

It was not suffocating but strong enough for him to know not to try to break free or shout for help, well he was going to cooperate at least for now so he would not end up like his other two colleagues.

He opened the door through the back of the house before Kingsley lead him up to the visitor's bedroom it was surprising to him, he wondered if someone provided information about the house to him before he came for him.

He opened the door to the visitor's room and the under part of an inner wardrobe, Kingsley opened it brought out a flash card and inserted it in Port there

"You are not getting away with this" Samuel told Kingsley with a smile

I won't fall so easily and cheaply to use of force by someone who can't even read his environment and know his enemies before attacking

"I know about that I created that antivirus flash drive myself because I know you already have a virus in this information system" he replied Samuel

When the Flash drive completed its download he removed it from the port before pushing Samuel towards the bed he left him and sprinted towards the fence he was already halfway through the fence when two bullets hit him in his back

He came tumbling back down to the ground

Kingsley and Jane sat together in the in the office canteen, Jane watched Kingsley has he ate his quietly
"He had become a real gentleman" she thought
Were you always like this I mean gentle,calm? Jane asked him

"I am quite funny and I joke alot but it has been a long time since I last did that" Kingsley replied her

What made you stop? Jane asked him

"I just wanted to" he replied her while still bent over is food.

She watched him eat she knew it was because of the death of his parents, but she didn't want to push the issue any further

"Well you should start laughing again" she told him but he was already looking at a particular part of the canteen

She followed his eyes first thought it was the beautiful lady eating in the canteen until she saw three executives discussing in low tones.

She turned to see Kingsley still staring at them and frowning really deep at that moment she couldn't help but think they were involved in their fathers deaths.

Stephen was among the executives and he didn't go to the executives part of the canteen because he did not want their conversation overheard.

Who did this? He asked the other men

"You and I know I couldn't have pulled that kind of stunt when it can backfire" Samson one of them replied him

"As much as I like to be silent and pretend that nothing is wrong, but I told you to take care of his son so we will be sure we are safe but you were so confident Peter did not have a back up plan" Samuel replied the two men

"I am more than confident the boy is involved in this and I think he is closer than ever to us" Samuel continued

Both men stared at themselves their thoughts running wold, Samuel had no reason to panic je already had money and secret security for himself to protect him from any danger he was well prepared for any eventuality.

"I think we have to step up our game that way he will be revealed" Samuel told the two men

What do you mean? They asked him

Samuel looked at Stephen and Samson levelly
"Kill the Chairman" he replied their question

Kingsley watched as they discussed he was angry he had to plan for everything he had to do before he achieved anything
"Hope for the best, prepare for the worst" he could hear his coach in his mind

He looked at Samuel as he spoke in a low tone
"You are next"

The Next Day
Kingsley got to the elevator, pressed the open button. The door opened and he saw himself standing before Jane, the chairman and Stephen waiting for him to enter.

"Good morning sirs" he greeted the men before bowing slightly to Jane has he entered the elevator.

"Good morning" both men replied him

Jane and the chairman started looking at neck but were disappointed when they did not see the mark.

"I knew it is not him" the chairman sighed with disappointment
"I was almost sure it is him" Jane sighed too

"I guess the search for him will take me a longer time" she thought

The chairman sighed again, he was not supposed to use the elevator since he had his own elevator but knowing that Kingsley will use that particular elevator he decided to use it to get the information he needed saying he was disappointed was an understatement.

The elevator door opened and has he came out of the elevator, he started to go on a fast walk with Stephen when he stopped abruptly

Kingsley who was out already walked faster than the chairman with his hand raised toward his neck and as he tried to adjust his collar a glimpse of his mark showed.

Both he and Jane stopped at the same time, they both stared at Kingsley as he disappeared from view.

How on earth did he reappear? The chairman asked himself

Why is he here? Jane asked herself

The chairman and Jane looked at themselves

Questions and more questions yet no answers to any of them

Anything wrong sir? Stephen asked the chairman

The question brought him back to reality he turned to see the young woman still standing in shock.

The chairman knew she might have known him well enough to know the sign on their necks but he choose to pretend that nothing was going on.

"Nothing, I just remember something that I forgot at home" he replied Stephen

"Let us go" he told Stephen before walking to the elevator that will take him directly to his office floor

Has he sat in his office he could not think of anything else except what is grandson was doing in the company and the recent news about his directors.

It made him wonder if he was involved but the time it was posted he was at work in the company.

Jane watched Kingsley has he typed he did not appear to be tired in any way.

Kingsley was getting tired and it was almost break he needed to eat and plan how to get the information he needed from the other two criminals before he focuses on Stephen, he needed to break the man as much as possible before finishing him off.

"Hey Kingsley" he heard Jane's voice behind him

He turned to face Jane
"Let us go and eat together, I am sure you are hungry" she told him

At that moment Jane wondered if he knew that it was the same Jane eight years ago

"I am really hungry, let us go" he told Jane

Stephen sat in his office thinking deeply, he picked up his phone and dialled the number he was given by Shadow the mysterious man who called him a two days ago.

"Hello" he spoke out the moment his call was answered

Before Shadow would reply he was already asking him questions

Did you do it? He asked him

Do what? Shadow asked him

"I mean expose Raphael and Michael" Stephen told the man

Shadow thought for some time before replying Stephen

"I think there is another player in this game probably someone who is close to you in the company" he told him

Any idea who? He asked Stephen

"Make your research and call me later for the answer I am going out now" he told Stephen before the latter could give him the answer he asked
