Kingsley turned to go after the woman, he felt a hand hold him, he turned sharply to see Jane staring at him

"Let's go, break is over"

Kingsley turned to look at the door again but he did not see the woman, he walked with Jane back to the office, his mind preoccupied with the confusing things he had being seeing lately.

Jane walked towards the chairman office with determination "I need to demand answers" she muttered.

The secretary let her in without calling the chairman to inform him since she knew of their relationship.

The chairman looked up with surprise has Jane got into the office

What are you doing here,I did not invite you?

"I saw something strange today sir"

What is that?

What happened to Kingsley's mom?

The chairman looked at his paper in shock making sure she did not see him

What are you talking about? The chairman asked

Beatrice looked at her son's pictures with glistening eyes, "I didn't know you were alive, and I was here plotting revenge not knowing you were already here to do it"

She picked up her phone to call her contact but she thought for a few seconds before dropping it

"That won't do" she muttered to herself

Kingsley picked up his phone after listening to the voice clip he had with him and Paul the team leader's voice

"They match"

What have you being thinking about lately? Paul asked him

"I am a little tired" Kingsley replied

"Get some rest we will be very busy in two days time, we need to present our research to the chairman, get approval and begin work on it immediately"

Kingsley watched has Paul walked to answer a phone call. Kingsley picked his phone and dialled Samson's number

"Hello" he heard over the phone

It is Paul right?

"Wow!!! You are definitely a genius"

What are you going to do now? Samson asked

"Don't worry about it" Kingsley replied

Everyone watched has Kingsley turned his eyes to the door, "whatever he heard on the phone must be having an effect" Jane muttered

Jane got home tired and exhausted and still trying to figure out why Kingsley looked to the door with that deadly look.

She looked through the window of her room, Kingsley was not back yet. Her mother came in two hours later but Kingsley was not still back home.

Is there any surprises for me today? Jane's mom asked

"I think I saw Kingsley's mom" Jane replied her

"This whole thing is driving me crazy, she is dead" he mother replied her slumping on the sofa

"I know mom but..." They both turned to a knock on the door

Who is that? They chorused

"Open up" the voice replied them

Mrs Felix opened her door in shock Beatrice was standing right before her smiling

She took back steps in shock, Jane who was coming stopped abruptly in her tracks

Beatrice walked into the sitting room to hug he friend "it has been a long time" she whispered

How are you alive?

Is that the first thing you should ask? Beatrice retorted

What should I ask you Beatrice, don't you see I am surprised you are still alive and what is even wrong with your face, did you get plastic surgery?

"Yes, after the accident" she replied

"It took me years to come out of coma, Peter knew but I told him to wait with Kingsley until I was better but I never got to see them" she replied sniffing

"Kingsley his alive" Jane told her

I know, and I still can't believe my good luck but what will happen now if I show up in front of him?

Kingsley got to Jane's door after parking in his home garage, he heard voices but he knocked anyway "maybe neighbours"

Jane opened the door to see Kingsley, she suppressed her scream but it was enough to get both women attention when quickly turned to look at the door

Kingsley stood rooted to the ground

"Mom"

How can it be the team leader? He asked himself in disbelief.

"It is not possible" he muttered to himself has he sat down in his office, he needed to think of the reason the team leader couldn't recognise him now he was in the company

The chairman sat in his office thinking about the call he had the day before

Why would she call to ask about Kingsley?

He opened his eyes wide as the realisation hit him, "she is in the country right now"

He grabbed his phone to call his house keeper

"Hello sir" he had his house keeper answer him immediately

"Miss is at home now"

The chairman closed his eyes he didn't want anyone to know about this information or it would disrupt the change that was going on in his company

"Make sure she does not come out of the house" he told the house keeper

Stephen sat in his office in silence he needed to be here to receive the call he was expecting

His phone rang almost immediately, he grabbed the phone quickly
"Hello, the caller you have being telling to strike at your colleagues is Samson"

Stephen stood up in shock,

What? But it is not possible

"That is the truth sir" the caller replied Stephen

"Thanks for the information" Stephen replied him

Now he knew his enemy and he was ready to destroy him

"I want to change the beneficiary of my shares" he could remember the chairman words clearly

To who?

"Well time will tell" he muttered to himself

Kingsley walked on the sidewalk has he thought of what he was confused about in the morning when a familiar perfume hit him.

He turned to look at the face with the perfume but Jane was standing right behind him, he looked at someone walking towards the company with confidence.

What were you thinking about? Jane asked bringing him back to the present

"Nothing, I just thought, never mind"

Why are you not eating? He asked Jane

"I was just curious about what you were thinking about" Jane replied him

What happened to my dad Kingsley? He sent us to our hometown and before we came back he was already dead

"I don't know what both of them planned, but what I know is that five people were involved in their deaths and one of them was supposed to kill everyone of you had you been at home that day but I can't still figure out who that person his"

How can I help? Jane asked

Kingsley thought for a while, "get me a recording of the voice of our team leader" he told Jane

Is he a suspect?

"I don't know yet, I just want to be sure he his not the suspect" he replied Jane

The chairman was about standing up from his desk when a woman walked into his office

How did you get out of the house?

"Common stop acting like you don't know I don't obey rules" the woman replied him

The chairman sighed "you don't even act like a woman who misses her husband or even her son" he fired at her

"Like you told me one of them was alive" she retorted

Where is my son I want to see him?

How do you want to see someone on a revenge mission? The chairman asked her

"But I really miss him"

"Now you are talking" the chairman told her

How did you know he was alive?

"I went to check up on my friend from the address you have on Jane's and I saw him coming out of their house" she replied him

You know no one must know you are alive?

"I know that, so don't worry" she replied him

"I am going to leave now" she told the chairman standing up

How is she alive? Jane asked herself in shock

His face was already on the woman leaving, he thought his mind was starting to play tricks on him

She stood in shock as she closed her mouth from screaming

Early the next morning Kingsley woke up with a start he needed to know the last person but it was only yesterday he knew about it so it was okay if he rested a day or two.

He thought of Jane has he took his bath,

"I think she is becoming more involved in my thoughts and that is not what I need now" he muttered to himself

He was bathing early so he would have the chance to drive her to work now he knew her house

But would she agree?

"I guess I will have to find out"

Jane walked out of her home to see Kingsley waiting for her with his car

"Hi" Kingsley greeted first

"Good morning" Jane replied him

What are you waiting for?

"I was waiting for you, we could go to work together" Kingsley replied her

"I am sorry but I don't think it is really necessary" Jane told him

"If you are worried about gossips in the office I can drop you before we get there, it will be easy to just walk to the office from there" Kingsley told Jane

"Thanks,but it is really not necessary" Jane told him before walking out

Kingsley stopped her immediately looking at her closely
"You were always like this while we were in school, I am surprised you are still the same now"

What do you mean? Jane asked

"I know it is you Jane" Kingsley replied her

Jane stared at him again her heart beating fast, she couldn't bear to keep staring at him like this but Kingsley quickly broke the eye contact.

What is your naughty mind thinking about? Kingsley asked

What do you mean?

Your heart is racing, what ideas are you getting in that naughty mind of yours? Kingsley teased smiling

"Stop getting ideas, it is beating fast because I am cold"

"Just cold even when you are dressed in a suit wow, get in the car then" Kingsley told her opening the door for her


How did you know? Jane asked

Know about what? Kingsley asked

"That I am the same Jane"

"I know for sure after seeing your mom yesterday night" he told her still holding the door out

Jane got in with a sigh "I guess there is no escaping from the car, we are already late"

A figure stood in a hood watching them she couldn't believe it

"Kingsley was alive and well from what she was seeing"

"Oh it you, it is being a long time you called"

"I do not have time for pleasantries now but you didn't call to tell me that Kingsley his alive"

"I have changed the beneficiary of the company from you to him" the chairman told

"I will call later" the voice told the chairman before stopping the call

The chairman was worried now he didn't want Kingsley to know about this because it could be very dangerous

Kingsley walked into the office to see Jane already seated and their team leader was walking out so he could attend a meeting with Stephen

"Yes sir good morning"

"Good morning, seem like we are going to have workloads today" the team leader told Kingsley before walking out of the office

Kingsley bowed, he walked towards his desk when he suddenly stopped, "that voice", he turned towards the retreating figure of the team leader

Jane got home exhausted, she sighed has she realised her mother wasn't going to be home till late evening.

What if I serious? The question came back to her again, if he had asked eight years ago she would have said yes and now he his asking again her answer would be the same but he had something he wanted to fulfill and she didn't want to get in the way

What are you thinking about you didn't even hear me enter the house? Her mother asked her

"Mom Kingsley is alive and well" Jane replied

I still don't understand you, what do you mean Kingsley is alive? Her mother asked her

Wait don't tell me you have met him? Her mother exclaimed

"I have mom and he works where I am working currently" she replied her mother

Mom what is that? Jane asked her mother pointing to the dark shadow in the corner of the room

Her mother turned to where she pointed both of them stood still without moving
"Call our neighbour to come and remove it for us it must be that cat that has been disturbing our neighbourhood" her mother suggested

"Yes mom let's do that I can't find myself touching those things"

Kingsley sighed when he got home the search for the sixth person or would he say the fifth person wasn't going to be simple but nothing was impossible, he only needed to concentrate.

Kingsley turned when he heard the doorbell ring
Who would probably be looking for him?

He was prepared for anything going forward so he was not afraid of anyone knocking his door

He went straight to the door opened it without looking at the monitor on the wall, he stood in shock when he saw Jane looking up to him in shock too

You live here? Jane asked him

"Yes"

Why are you here? Kingsley asked her

"I don't know how a cat got into our house and I need someone that can get it out for me" she replied him

Kingsley got out of the house,

"After you" he told Jane

Mrs Felix waited quietly for help to come but she couldn't shake out the words of her daughter

How can that be possible?

She was interuptted by the sound of Jane entering the house she turned to see her daughter standing with a tall man

"Good evening" Kingsley greeted bowing

"Good evening, thanks for coming" Mrs Felix replied to his greeting

Kingsley walked to the corner where the cat was, he removed the curtain raised the cat up and examined it

"I will keep it, until when they start looking for it" he told the two women

"Thank you very much" they both chorused

"It is okay not everyone really like animals like my mother never allowed anyone bring it into the house or she would freak out"

What happened to your mother? Mrs Felix asked

"She passed away, but I have gotten over it now"

Will you like to have coffee with us? Jane asked him

"I am sorry let us make it this weekend when we are all free" Kingsley replied her before walking out of the house

"The young man is likeable but he his hiding something that can be really dangerous if you find it out" Mrs Felix told Jane

Mom!!!

What is it again? Her mother asked exasperated

"It is Kingsley for Christ sake" Jane replied her mother before walking to her room

Her mother stood there in shock, she was finding it hard to believe but that voice was definitely what she had heard before

"I will take care of Felix so you guys should not worry about him" he heard the voice very vaguely

Where did he hear that voice before?

"I guess it will take sometime to find out" he muttered to himself

"I guess I am the next" he muttered to himself he started laughing when he thought of the bomb he was about dropping.

"Hello secretary call Kingsley to my office"

"Yes sir" the secretary replied him

Kingsley wondered what Samson wanted for him to ask to see him

"If only he knows he will not be in that office soon enough" he muttered to himself has he got to the Samson's office floor

The secretary waved him straight in without any asking any questions

He knocked on the door expecting to wait like five minutes before he will be answered

"Come right in" he heard from the office

He opened the door quietly, an habit that he still couldn't shake off

"When you have an intruder but he doesn't know that he his lousy you simply prove it to him with the facts by getting into the house quietly and making sure for him to be surprised before dealing with him" his coach words were ringing in his head

Samson raised his head to find Kingsley looking right at him

"Have your seat and you didn't tell me you were a ghost" he told Kingsley

You called me sir? Kingsley asked him

Yes, why did you think I called you?

"I don't know sir" Kingsley replied him

I guess I am your next target? Samson asked

What do you mean sir? Kingsley asked him

"Come on don't pretend, you know, I was the one who told your dad about the stalker and I am the same person that Stephen knows as shadow" Samson told him before continuing his speech

"I told your dad to leave the country for sometime but he told me he had a breathtaking project he couldn't leave halfway so I just told him to be careful, even if he was to die he should make sure to keep you safe" Samson continued staring levely at Kingsley

"I didn't know his friend was going to be a victim and you know Jane is in the company now but she probably doesn't know that a lot of things happened before her father's death which you know yourself"

"I was there to see the project your dad was talking about when you made that call and he asked you if it worked on you but I knew it was about the project"

"Ever since the day you came I knew that you and Stephen will have the same pattern of dealing with your enemies so I simply called him that I will take care of his enemies for him for free he askes me to do but I always know your next target so I don't have to worry about employing anyone for it"

I am a genius right? He asked Kingsley

Kingsley looked at him for a long time in silence

Why are you telling me this? He asked

"Because I am not your next target, there was suppose to be someone else who would go to Dr Felix house to kill him and his family" Samson replied

"Find out that person, that is your next target"

"Your dad said you were smarter that he and your mother put together and they are probably the smartest people I know in the world, I come third after them"

"Find that person out and you will have my respect and I will delay giving Stephen your identity for now" he told Kingsley before continuing his work

You knew mother? Kingsley asked

How would I have known she was smart if we were not acquainted?

Kingsley looked at him then

"You are a genius yes, but I will prove to you that I am smarter than the three of you put together" Kingsley told him before standing up

Kingsley sighed has he walked out with Jane, he only took care of Samuel yesterday and today he had to plan on taking out Samson so the stage will be left for him and Stephen.

And he knew he had to do that before he will be discovered either by Stephen or any of his order colleagues, he was walking in deep thoughts when Stephen also walking in deep thoughts walked into him.

"Watch where you are going young man" Stephen told him after they had disentangled themselves

"I am sorry sir" Kingsley replied him bowed

"It is okay you should go and work hard" Stephen told him before walking away

"Yes sir" he turned towards his office with his heart beating fast

"That was close" he muttered to himself

Stephen walked towards the chairman office with trepidation, who would have thought all his colleagues will be disgraced out of office and he didn't still know who was behind it yet.

"I have to put more sources to find out and not depend on shadow" he muttered to himself before walking towards the chairman secretary

"I want to see the chairman" he told the secretary

"You can go right in" the secretary told him before continuing her work

Stephen walked to the door but stopped when he heard a sentence from the chairman
"I am going to change the beneficiary of my shares"

To who? Stephen asked himself

"Come in" Stephen heard the chairman call out

He walked into the office to see the chairman seating on his Chair and writing on a document he hoped was not for the transfer of shares.

"Good morning sir" he greeted the chairman standing

"Good morning" the chairman answered looking up at him

"Have your seat"

"Thank you sir"

What is going on Stephen? The chairman asked him

"I don't understand you sir" Stephen replied

I mean what is going on with all your colleagues and why is now your dirty secrets is being revealed? Mr Joseph asked him again

"I don't know anything about what they have being hiding and who is targeting them sir" Stephen replied the chairman

"Just send Samuel out of the company and do it quietly please the governor and other board members are not happy with what is going on" he told Stephen

"I will do that sir" Stephen replied him

"You can leave now I am busy" the chairman told him before continuing his work

"At least it would help in turning everyone against him and making it possible for him to be sacked in the company" he muttered to himself

He smiled has he got what he wanted from the many recordings Samuel had on his Flash drive, it was an audio of Samuel and his colleagues discussing on how to kill the chairman.

"The time will be just fine for the final" he muttered to himself.

Mr Joseph sat in his office with his hands clasped, he couldn't shake the feeling that the visit Stephen gave him today was a suspicious one

"They are planning something, but they don't know that I am up to the task" he muttered to himself

"I will be waiting for that moment" he continued with a smile

Stephen paced around has he placed a conference call to all his five colleagues

"It has been a real long time" he told the men immediately they picked the call

How have you guys being? Samson asked

"We have being fine, has long has the chairman will go down for making that decision I will continue to remain fine" Michael replied Samson

"I think we will have to shift the date for taking down the chairman" Stephen told the men

Why should we do that? Samuel asked

The team leader stood with Jane and the rest of the members with a gloomy face

"Samuel is the least I expect to be involved in this type of scandal, imagine defrauding a company and still telling us about work ethics and honesty" he told the group with a sigh

"I can't even imagine it at all" one of them told the team leader

What is going on? Kingsley asked has he got in the office

"Good morning guys" he greeted before throwing a mischievous smile at Jane

Jane turned to her desk quickly, she didn't dare look the team leader in the face

Hey Jane did you sleep well last night? Kingsley asked Jane has she walked to her desk

"The jerk, he doesn't know how to to differentiate business and pleasure" she muttered to herself before replying him

"Yes, thank you"

Kingsley was smiling, the team leader was facing him now

"I don't know about you, but you shouldn't bring romance to this team you know it would reduce our efficiency as a team you know" the team leader told Kingsley who was still smiling

"Common man that kind of romance will only make me more efficient" Kingsley replied the team leader

Seriously Kingsley are you going to be like this?

Like how? The team leader asked

Everyone was staring at them now, Kingsley stopped smiling the attention was getting quite too much for him.

He walked over to Jane grabbed her hand and lead her out of the office with the other team members staring after them.

"I am sorry about that" he told Jane when they got to one of the free offices in the company

"It is okay, I know it was a joke so no need to be serious now" Jane replied him

They were both silent for sometime before Kingsley asked

What if I feel like that about you will you like me back?

Jane stood staring at him before turning towards the door

"Let's go" she told him before walking out of the office

Dammit!!! Kingsley cursed while he laid on the floor,he knew Samuel had something sinister planned but he thought he would be outside the house before he struck

"He his smarter than I thought" he muttered to himself, he calculated how many seconds it would take his wounds to heal before he made any attempt to get up, it was already forty seconds, five more seconds and he would be out of the house.

Five seconds later, the men were drawing closer to the unmoving man when in one fluid movement he stood up and before they could raise their guns he was already out through the fence.

To say they were surprised was an understatement, they all stood at the place he was lying before in shock two gunshot wounds and he could still get out through the fence.

"He was not wearing a bullet proof, I am very sure of that" Mr Samuel told the group when he joined them expecting to see the body of the intruder on the ground dead

He stood in shock when he came there and met his men standing and staring at the fence and when he looked at the floor it was empty

Where is he? He asked the leader

"I was sure he was not wearing a bullet proof but how he managed to heal himself with seconds and go through the fence is surprising" he replied Samuel

"Go after him immediately he couldn't have gone very far, he has things that must stay within the walls of this house" he told the men

He paced around before he took out his phone and called Stephen

" Hello Stephen, I think I am in trouble"

Stephen smiled at the other end of the phone
What do you mean you are in trouble? He asked Samuel
"You and I know you are too secured to be in trouble" he continued

"Someone just got away with information that shouldn't leave this house, he knew the house so well he had no trouble getting the information, something is telling me the chairman is involved" he replied Stephen

"The chairman will not be so petty and send people to your house just to get information so discard that thought and don't even think about hitting the chairman he his well secured and well connected for that" he told Samuel

"I want to make a call I will call you so we can discuss about how we will tackle the problem before the information gets out" he told Samuel before stopping the call.

"As I suspected there is another person. I will call you when I have the details we can talk about it when I do" he told Stephen
