Jane woke up unusually excited in the morning, she was happy things were going smoothly for her and Kingsley but then, why the excitement? She asked herself.

The last time she was like this was the morning she received the news her dad was dead but was it going to be the same today? No way that was possible all the people who might try it were already on their way to prison.

Or was she mistaken?

Kingsley woke up with a start, he shoke his head so he could recollect on what happened the day before, the thought of his mother made him smile.

He needed something to smile about and he got it when he saw his mother the yesterday but then he needed to be prepared for the task ahead of him that day so there won't be mistakes

Stephen sat down in his office in deep thoughts he has the pictures from Paul's death but he needed to frame someone for it so it won't be traced back to him.

His phone rang bringing him back to the present, he picked the call

"Hello boss"

Any news for me? Stephen asked

"Yes boss, a woman requested for our services yesterday and it was about you but I can't find out the details" the gangster told Stephen

Why? Stephen asked

"The guy for the job was not mentioned or registered for anything yesterday so I can't question him since I have to assume I don't know about it" the gangster replied

Stephen smiled knowingly in his office, "thanks for the information" he replied the gangster before hanging up

He called another number on his phone

"Hello boss"

"Initiate plan B today" he told the gangster hanging up

"There must be no mistakes" he muttered to himself

Jane walked out of the company towards a taxi park not far away from the company, a taxi driver walked up to her

Where are you going miss?

Can you take me to....

The driver already walked her to his car door, he grabbed his handkerchief and forcefully covered her nose, within seconds Jane was in oblivion

He deposited her in the back seat of the car like someone who was sleeping before picking his phone and placing a phone call to his boss

"Hello boss"

How is it?

"Done"

"Meet me in the old warehouse and make sure you are not being followed so change cars at the right time and place" the gangster advised him

"Okay boss" he replied him hanging up

Stephen smiled in his office

"Before you think of putting me down, think of what you will lose" he muttered to himself holding a picture of the chairman in his hands

The chairman called Beatrice immediately he received the information

"Jane has been abducted" he told Beatrice immediately she picked his call

What!!! Beatrice exclaimed

How did you know? Beatrice asked

Beatrice already grabbed her second phone

"Kingsley's phone Is not going through" she told the chairman in panic

Kingsley and his mother sat in silence for a long time thinking not about what to say but about what lay before them and how to tackle it

"Emotions can be your greatest gift at the right moment or your greatest bane at the very wrong moment" he could remember his coach words clearly

"Mom, I think I am going to be busy today" He told his mother standing up

Beatrice looked up startled, when will you tell me what happened that day? She asked him

"I think that will be later" he replied her

He walked into his house to get his Spandex, "today might prove to be an entertaining day" he muttered to himself

He was surprised to see his mother still standing and waiting for him
Why are you still here? He asked

"I really want to know what happened that day please"

Kingsley sighed, this was the reason he needed to remove all traces of emotions before embarking on this journey

"Okay, come and watch it"

You have the video?

"Yes, from our CCTV camera"

They both watched the video quietly until the moment Peter was shot, Beatrice covered her mouth in horror.

Two men were not facing the camera but since Kingsley already knew he was less concerned about the need to check the video again

Her mother pointer here finger to the man standing, "that is Stephen, I always knew he was involved in it"

Kingsley frowned has he looked at the video again, it was Stephen "the idiot has already proved he his smart but I have told Samson I am smarter and that is what I am going to prove" he muttered to himself

"I have to leave now mom and I think you should leave the house"

"I know" Beatrice replied him

They both walked out of the house each to his own destination

A figure came out from the shadow of the fence looking at Jane's house

"Hello boss, he has gone out I think we should initiate plan B"

"Initiate it" Samson replied from the other end

"Such a stupid boy" he muttered to himself with a laugh

Kingsley took a video of everything that happened in Paul's home with determination "everyone of them will go down tomorrow" he muttered to himself, "everyone of them will pay"

He didn't even stop to think about the horror Paul would face when he faces the assassin coming to his home but he wasn't scared, everything he needed was in the flash drive with him all he needed was a video to complete it.

"Stephen will know that he his no match for me"

Beatrice stared at the man standing before her, he was wearing a hood so it was difficult to accertain his features

"I need that information you have on Stephen, I already paid our agreed price"

"The man brought out a flash drive and gave it to her, everything you need is in there" he told her before taking a fast walk into the alley

She took out her cellphone as she dialled her police officer number

"Hello"

"Hello Ms Beatrice, it has been a long time"

"I know, I am going to send something to you today make it a very big deal tomorrow" she told the police officer

"Okay no problem"

Kingsley smiled has he looked at his phone "the mighty fall seventy one percent loading" he muttered before stretching himself in bed

"Tomorrow, it will be a new dawn" he thought has he slept off

Beatrice looked at her son, she wanted to hear this voice for years and now he was speaking she was afraid of the outcome.

"Kingsley" she replied with hesitation

Kingsley stood staring at his mother, if he knew she was alive he would have done everything to look for her but now what was in his mind was to hug her and just be happy she was alive.

Without hesitation he walked to her and hugged her, "I missed you" he whispered to her ears, that brought a floodgate of tears to Beatrice,

"I missed you too" she muttered to her son

Jane and her mom watched in silence, their thoughts running wild and still not able to pinpoint anything tangible to what their minds felt at that point

Beatrice was alive, Kingsley was alive, Mrs Felix sighed

Samson looked at his ringing phone his informant was calling which means he has important information to share to him.

"Hello"

"Hello boss"

Is there any news for me? Samson asked

"Yes boss, Paul was seen at our base today, I think he came to get someone to take care of you boss"

What?

"That is the truth boss" the gangster replied

"I want you to take care of Paul tonight without mistakes" and give me evidence of it

"One more thing, I want you to look for a good hitman I want him to take care of the Stephen as soon as Paul is out of the way" he continued

"I am right on it, expect news tonight"

Jane watched has Kingsley and his mother sat in the balcony of his home talking, she remembered what the chairman told her

Peter knew that Beatrice was alive, only Kingsley was kept in the dark on request of his mother so he would face his studies squarely

"He has succeeded more than I expected myself, Beatrice was the first person to get to the house the day Peter died but she couldn't find Kingsley despite all her efforts towards finding him"

"She resolved to fate, but she believed he was alive and she walked towards getting information on those behind the death of her husband and your father"

Are you saying the same people who killed my dad killed Dr Peter? Jane asked

"I am very sure of it from the turn of events so far" the chairman had told her

"The reason I did not tell Beatrice about Kingsley was so that he would concentrate on dealing with those scumbags without bringing emotions into it"

She sighed again, she was looking at the same Kingsley and it looked like emotions had come into his mission already

The chairman sat on his swivelling chair thinking about either telling Stephen about the new threat he had underground or leave to face the music for interfering in the motion he set before.

"Hello Stephen" the chairman spoke into the phone

Who do you think is the next target? The chairman asked

"I don't know sir"

"Well until then be on your one hundred percent guard" he told him

"Yes sir"

The reason behind the fear of the chairman was because he had an underground network that sold weapons and highly trained computer scientists for cyber or electronic warfare so information on the underworld always find itself in his office.

Kingsley turned to go after the woman, he felt a hand hold him, he turned sharply to see Jane staring at him

"Let's go, break is over"

Kingsley turned to look at the door again but he did not see the woman, he walked with Jane back to the office, his mind preoccupied with the confusing things he had being seeing lately.

Jane walked towards the chairman office with determination "I need to demand answers" she muttered.

The secretary let her in without calling the chairman to inform him since she knew of their relationship.

The chairman looked up with surprise has Jane got into the office

What are you doing here,I did not invite you?

"I saw something strange today sir"

What is that?

What happened to Kingsley's mom?

The chairman looked at his paper in shock making sure she did not see him

Beatrice looked at her son's pictures with glistening eyes, "I didn't know you were alive, and I was here plotting revenge not knowing you were already here to do it"

She picked up her phone to call her contact but she thought for a few seconds before dropping it

"That won't do" she muttered to herself

Kingsley picked up his phone after listening to the voice clip he had with him and Paul the team leader's voice

"They match"

What have you being thinking about lately? Paul asked him

"I am a little tired" Kingsley replied

"Get some rest we will be very busy in two days time, we need to present our research to the chairman, get approval and begin work on it immediately"

Kingsley watched has Paul walked to answer a phone call. Kingsley picked his phone and dialled Samson's number

"Hello" he heard over the phone

It is Paul right?

"Wow!!! You are definitely a genius"

What are you going to do now? Samson asked

"Don't worry about it" Kingsley replied

Everyone watched has Kingsley turned his eyes to the door, "whatever he heard on the phone must be having an effect" Jane muttered

Jane got home tired and exhausted and still trying to figure out why Kingsley looked to the door with that deadly look.

She looked through the window of her room, Kingsley was not back yet. Her mother came in two hours later but Kingsley was not still back home.

Is there any surprises for me today? Jane's mom asked

"I think I saw Kingsley's mom" Jane replied her

"This whole thing is driving me crazy, she is dead" he mother replied her slumping on the sofa

"I know mom but..." They both turned to a knock on the door

Who is that? They chorused

"Open up" the voice replied them

Mrs Felix opened her door in shock Beatrice was standing right before her smiling

She took back steps in shock, Jane who was coming stopped abruptly in her tracks

Beatrice walked into the sitting room to hug he friend "it has been a long time" she whispered

How are you alive?

Is that the first thing you should ask? Beatrice retorted

What should I ask you Beatrice, don't you see I am surprised you are still alive and what is even wrong with your face, did you get plastic surgery?

"Yes, after the accident" she replied

"It took me years to come out of coma, Peter knew but I told him to wait with Kingsley until I was better but I never got to see them" she replied sniffing

"Kingsley his alive" Jane told her

I know, and I still can't believe my good luck but what will happen now if I show up in front of him?

Kingsley got to Jane's door after parking in his home garage, he heard voices but he knocked anyway "maybe neighbours"

Jane opened the door to see Kingsley, she suppressed her scream but it was enough to get both women attention when quickly turned to look at the door

Kingsley stood rooted to the ground

"Mom"

How can it be the team leader? He asked himself in disbelief.

"It is not possible" he muttered to himself has he sat down in his office, he needed to think of the reason the team leader couldn't recognise him now he was in the company

The chairman sat in his office thinking about the call he had the day before

Why would she call to ask about Kingsley?

He opened his eyes wide as the realisation hit him, "she is in the country right now"

He grabbed his phone to call his house keeper

"Hello sir" he had his house keeper answer him immediately

"Miss is at home now"

The chairman closed his eyes he didn't want anyone to know about this information or it would disrupt the change that was going on in his company

"Make sure she does not come out of the house" he told the house keeper

Stephen sat in his office in silence he needed to be here to receive the call he was expecting

His phone rang almost immediately, he grabbed the phone quickly
"Hello, the caller you have being telling to strike at your colleagues is Samson"

"That is the truth sir" the caller replied Stephen

"Thanks for the information" Stephen replied him

Now he knew his enemy and he was ready to destroy him

"I want to change the beneficiary of my shares" he could remember the chairman words clearly

Kingsley walked on the sidewalk has he thought of what he was confused about in the morning when a familiar perfume hit him.

He turned to look at the face with the perfume but Jane was standing right behind him, he looked at someone walking towards the company with confidence.

What were you thinking about? Jane asked bringing him back to the present

"Nothing, I just thought, never mind"

Why are you not eating? He asked Jane

"I was just curious about what you were thinking about" Jane replied him

What happened to my dad Kingsley? He sent us to our hometown and before we came back he was already dead

"I don't know what both of them planned, but what I know is that five people were involved in their deaths and one of them was supposed to kill everyone of you had you been at home that day but I can't still figure out who that person his"

How can I help? Jane asked

Kingsley thought for a while, "get me a recording of the voice of our team leader" he told Jane

Is he a suspect?

"I don't know yet, I just want to be sure he his not the suspect" he replied Jane

How do you want to see someone on a revenge mission? The chairman asked her

How did you know he was alive?

"I went to check up on my friend from the address you have on Jane's and I saw him coming out of their house" she replied him

You know no one must know you are alive?

"I know that, so don't worry" she replied him

"I am going to leave now" she told the chairman standing up
