Tanzanian actress and model, Wema Sepetu has denied claims that she is competing for Diamond Platnumz attention with his baby mama, Hamisa Mobetto.



In an interview, she advised ladies against having any affection for Daimond Platnumz because he will cheat and can never be faithful.



She said,

”Keep off Diamond, he’s a serial cheater who can never change his way.”
“To be honest, even if Diamond comes swearing that he has cleaned up his past and wants to marry me, I won’t accept it. That would have happened back then but not now. I know Nasibu too well after being together with him for two years. I know his ways. He will still cheat, he can never be faithful to any lady,” Wema said.
“I dumped CK (Clement Kiondo) to be with him, but he still cheated on me with fellow bongo movie actress Meninah and I don’t see him changing his ways even in marriage”.


Before she started dating Diamond, Wema Sepetu was in a relationship with Clement Kiondo, a former flamboyant chief accountant at Air Tanzania who is currently serving a 5-year jail term after he was sentenced last year in a corruption scandal.

Her claims are coming just few days after the singer was arrested by the police for a video he uploaded on social media. The video which is described as obscene shows the singer and his baby mama Hamisa Mobetto caressing on bed. Reports have it that he uploaded the video to spite his other baby mama, Zari Hassan.

A young woman has been detained in the prison of Bouwer, in Córdoba, Spain, for mutilating her ex-boyfriend’s genitals.

Speaking from prison, Brenda Barattini, 26, said she hurt her ex-boyfriend, 40, because he had shown an intimate video of them to his friend. As a result, she attacked him on the night of November 25, 2017.

On Friday, April 13, she gave details of how the attack was carried out. Speaking to La Voz del Interior newspaper from a room of the prison for women located in the prison complex of the commune of Nouwer, she said:

I wounded him with a pair of scissors, I cut his limb, not the testicles

She added:

There was never an amputation, one of the things I’m angry about is that there has not been an amputation.

Brenda, who had recently become an architect, told local media that she “wanted to hurt him there” but insisted that she did not amputate his testicles or his entire penis.

She told La Voz newspaper:

I cut his penis but not completely: I injured him. I left to ask for help. I did not want anything to happen to him, besides, I was afraid of the blood.

She said the sex tape which her ex-partner leaked was a violation of her privacy and it angered her. She said the attack on her partner was from a place of self-defense. She added that he had hurt her and damaged her psychologically and that he had treated her inhumanely.

“It caused me a very great psychological damage, violating my privacy, that is not done, not a woman, not a man, not anyone, I answered, maybe not in a correct way, but I answered,” she said.
“It was a very serious damage what he did to me, if this video comes to light, this person for Justice is imprisoned, they have not found the video, I do not know what happened, he has recognized that there was a video and what happened.”

The young woman said that the attack was premeditated.

“I Google on the internet, I knew I could not do any harm to him, more than give him a scare,” she said.
Barattini has been detained since November last year without bail and is charged with the crime of “very serious injuries”. She reportedly said she regrets her decision. If found guilty, she could face 15 years in prison.

According to Nollywood actor, Kunle Afolayan, his brother, Aremu Afolayan is just plain stupid for saying their dad was very poor.



During an Interview with Sunday Scoop, one of the Afolayan brothers, Kunle mentioned that it is wrong for anyone to have said his father was very poor.

Speaking vehemently during the interview, he mentioned that a father who could provide all his children the required education in all levels, and provide his children the opportunity to enjoy some luxuries is not poor.

He noted that though his father was a busy man, frequently working on projects, he was sure to make his kids happy and comfortable.

“Do you know Ade Love? Was Ade Love a poor man? That is his (Aremu’s) own opinion as everyone has a mind of their own. I would not say things were rosy, but we were never poor. .

The Queen was born at 2.40am on April 21 at her maternal grandfather’s London house. But she also has an official birthday in June – usually on the second Saturday. This year it falls on Saturday June 9.

The reason for this second birthday all comes down to the British weather. Since 1748, the monarch’s official birthday has been marked by the parade known as Trooping the Colour – usually held on the king or queen’s actual birthday. But Edward VII, who reigned from 1901 to 1910, was born in November. Due to the harsh November weather, he celebrated officially in May or June because there was less chance of it being cold and drizzly during the outdoor event.

The monarch after Edward VII – George V – helpfully had a birthday in June, but the Queen’s father, George VI, whose birthday was in December, reintroduced the tradition of an official birthday, which Elizabeth II has continued.

The monarch’s official birthday is always on a Saturday. In George VI time, he had his official birthday on the second Thursday of June. In 1959, after several years on the throne, the Queen changed it to the second Saturday for convenience.

At least one person died yesterday while over 22 others sustained various degrees of injury when masquerades in their numbers invaded the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The masquerades, who were said to be celebrating a festival known as Uzo Iyi, invaded the worship ground, beating up members and also attempting to whisk away the spiritual director of the centre, Rev Fr Emmanuel Obimma.

According to reports, three of the masquerade members were arrested by operatives of SARS upon complaint from the church that they were extorting worshippers coming to the church. The leadership of the church called in the SARS operatives to help their internal security to protect worshipers, but upon arriving, the operatives arrested three masquerades who were involved in the extortion, but their colleagues attempted to stop them from taking the arrested masquerades away, prompting SARS operatives to shoot sporadically into the air before whisking the masquarades away.

Personal Assistant to Fr Obimma, Francis Okoye, who spoke to journalists, said a priest, Rev Father Henry Nnajiofor, a seminarian and 28 others were injured during the attack on the worshippers. It was however gathered from some worshipers that an unidentified person was feared dead during a stampede caused by the attack.

Okoye said: “The normal masquerade activities in Uke, to the best of my knowledge, ends by 6pm but as at 8pm on Friday, the masquerades were still parading at the entrance route of Uke Adoration ground, extorting money from the our members and robbing others on the guise of masquerade festival.

“As at 8:30 pm, we started receiving information that group of masquerades were attacking our members, inflicting bodily injuries on them as a result of severe flogging. They flogged some of them, stabbed some with their weapons including machete, while others were robbed of their mobile phones and other valuables. “We quickly contacted the SARS office to assist our Adoration security that could not handle the situation at that point in time. When SARS arrived in an hour later, they arrested two masquerades but on their way back, the youths blocked the road and insisted that the masquerades must be released. That was when SARS officials fired shots on the air to disperse them. “When SARS left, they regrouped again and this time came in their numbers to the Adoration premises, beating everybody including the elderly, the sick and pregnant women. Our Adoration youths, in defence, pursued them and arrested one other masquerade who stayed in the Adoration ground with us until this morning when we handed him over the official of the Nigerian Army that came for our rescue,” he narrated.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Anambra State, ASP Nkiru Nwode confirmed the incident but denied that the masquerades also attacked the police officers from SARS. She said the command arrested three of the suspects and is currently investigating the cause of the incident

Big Brother Naija Season 3 finalists Miracle and Alex have won 1 Million Naira in the Closeup Challenge.

Despite the trailing drama and gloomy cloud hanging over the House thanks to Cee-C’S Strike worthy rage-race, The Housemates’ work ethic was injected with a ‘pick me up’ and soon enough, they went on scraping their ideas together and jingling away. However, Miracle and Alex’s efforts were the ones the bore Million Naira fruit.

Earlier on today Biggie asked the housemates to prepare for their Closeup task presentation, he also asked them to create groups and that they were to present the task in these groups.

Well our finalists have finally had the presentation and below is a break down of how things went.

The Alex and Cee-C pair were the first to present their Closeup Task piece, Alex presented her bae issues, mentioning how her boyfriend always has her brush her teeth before a kiss.

Cee-C then gave Alex some brushing advise, alerting her that there are very damaging and ineffective brushing methods that lead to oral problems. She also offered her some Closeup products like tooth paste and tooth brushes.

Miracle and Nina (Alpha) were then the second to present their piece, Miracle was to go on a date and his brother advised him to cover his mouth when talking to the ‘babe’ who in this case was Nina and it looked like he too needed some Closeup intervention.

Miracle tried his hardest to keep his mouth covered while talking to the babe (Nina) but his hand gave in and the odour escaped, having Nina leave him right there.

Miracle’s ‘brother’ then offered him a range of Closeup products in order to rectify his mouth odour problem and also advised him to get rid if his father’s toothbrush.

Miracle heeded his brother’s advise and got his brush on, it was then that Nina obliged to a second date and scored himself a bae.

Tobi and Cee-C were then the third pair to present, Tobi tried to chase his singing dreams but ended up being chased off the stage because of his smelly mouth. Tobi’s babe then offered some Closeup products and he comed back with a fresh breath. She also gave him more mouth health advise.

Then Miracle and Alex’s pair was the next in line, Miracle tried to keep his odour from ruining his job interview but Alex insisted that he spoke and when he did, need we say more…

Miracle then decided to seek medical advise, The doctor broke the odour dilemma down and advised him to use his new Closeup products instead of the toothbrush he’s used since he was a kid.

Thanks to Closeup, Miracle managed to kick the odour blues away and got his dream job.



Tobi and Nina (Omega) were the very last pair to present, Nina and Tobi had been tinder buddies for a while and decided to meet. Things however took a rather smelly turn when Nina uncovered her mouth which resulted in Tobi running off. Dr. Tobi then explained the odour issue and offered Nina a range of Closeup products in order to improve her chances of getting a kiss.

And after all the pairs’ presentations, Miracle and Alex (Delta) emerged as the winners of the Closeup challenge thereby bagging One Million Naira and Closeup products worth 50,000 Naira.

Cee-C has replaced Nina who was chosen as this week’s Head of House earlier today, Big Brother summoned all the remaining five housemates to the lounge and asked them to correct the mistake they had made.

Biggie asked the housemates to nominate a new Head of House putting into consideration which housemate had been HoH the least number of times, however Alex insisted on nominating Tobi for Head of House even when the rest of the housemates were nominating Cee-C for HoH.

Cee-C has not been Head of House before so obviously this was her opportunity to also taste leadership inside the Big Brother Naija house, and going with the majority rule, Cee-C was selected as this week Head of House.

It seemed as though Alex was very bitter at this new development and we are still wondering were she’s actually finding the trouble if Cee-C is the Head of House.

This same account on Saturday made several controversial tweets with many believing the account was hacked.

However the account later tweeted that it was now being used for bitcoin advertisements.

Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar who was bedridden several times last year, following complications encountered after a fibroid surgery in India, revealed how she was in coma for 3 days last month.

According to Halima Abubakar, her family thought she was gone, but God came through.

Evicted housemates of the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality show, Ifu Ennada, had at a time stated that she was raped by an unnamed Nigerian entertainer. Many people believed she was referring to CDQ since the duo was already involved in a previous controversy.



But the Nollywood actress has come out to vindicate the rapper and also mentioned that the real culprit will be exposed soon.
When Sunday Scoop asked her to identify the rapist, Ifu Ennada refused but stated that it was not CDQ.

“I was the one who was raped and I didn’t talk about it until recently. When I am ready to reveal the rapist’s identity, I will do so. For now, it is no one’s business. I don’t know what gave people the impression that it was CDQ. I didn’t mention CDQ’s name. I don’t understand people,” she added.

On claims that she shared her rape story to gain sympathy or popularity, she said:

“Do I look like one who needs the sympathy of people? Only foolish people would think I put out my story for publicity. Right from the first day I came back to Nigeria, I said I wanted to release a short film, Broken Virgin. Then, Big Brother was yet to announce that two people would return to the reality show. I had already started doing graphics; posters for my short film. People who have been following me know the truth; people who don’t know me can say rubbish. Why should anyone use her rape story as a joke or play?”

She, however, opened up that she would have loved to go back to the Big Brother Naija house when the door was opened for evicted housemates to come back

“It has not been very smooth since leaving BBNaija, but it has been good. I miss the house; sometimes I miss the diary session with Big Brother and I miss the Saturday night parties.


I wished I was one of the two persons who returned to the house. I even campaigned for people to vote for me and my people tried for me, but I didn’t make it. I had the third highest vote. Though I am aware that people felt the voting process was tampered with, I don’t believe that. I feel they showed us how the people truly voted.” She said

American singer, K. Michelle has reveal the battles she going through all because of a butt reduction surgery she had. In an Instagram post, she spoke of how she has been in and out of the hospital cos silicon had spread all over her body.



K. Michelle wrote:

”Jan 12 I started a journey to correct a mistake I did over 6 years ago. The first surgery went well so we thought until my body started to shut down while I was on tour. For 26 cities I was on steroids to walk and keep down infection causing me to get off stage and be rushed to ER over 4 times and then the next day back on stage.

I later found out the silicone had spread and I would be rushed back into surgery. Last Wednesday I entered surgery barely functioning with my legs and an infection. The surgery to remove all of this from me lasted a long 6 hours. The following days were spent with paramedics until i they realized my blood count was severely low and I was rushed into ER where I was admitted. 2 blood transfusions later I’ve been released and started therapy today heal and walk.

I have the most skilled and amazing reconstructive surgeon in Beverly Hills and I’m blessed to be here. It hurts my heart to know there are girls out here who can’t afford to have the best and are just sitting around in pain and infection. I thought I was strong but this changed my life. I saw my life flash right in front of me. So many so called friends and family where no where to be found in this dark hour. People I’ve given my last 2. NO WHERE.?Only a few where there like @moniece_slaughter @erndukes@akbar__v, @richardlomaxbeauty, Ken, Myisha, @iam_whatshername_,management, my nurse Denita and my MOM by my bed every night. The former housemate who never failed to show off his music talent while on the reality show, announced the launch of Alpha Records on his Instagram page.

Teddy A is a United States’ based Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer. He is a graduate of The University of Texas. Teddy is 29 years old. He was born in Lagos before moving to the States, and he has four brothers.
