what you said is true, but how many of them. An English speaking student applied for internship to about 200 companies and got just 2 interview invitation in English language. So if you want to work so hard for so little opportunities, dont learn it. Germans would employ Ausbildung/ Bachelors grad who speaks German over masters grad that does not plus your C++ and MATLAB

devmantic:

Having a good knowledge of the German language prior to graduation is important although most international companies in Germany (e.g. Siemens, BASF, German Aerospace Centre [DLR] etc.) are more than willing to hire young foreign graduates who speak English and have limited German language skill upon graduation. On the long run, one is expected to learn German over time if he/she wants to work and live in Germany. The main challenge in landing a job after studies is skill-related. Imagine having a skill that is on-demand yet rare to find (e.g. programming with Python, C++, Java or being a specialist in MATLAB, AutoCAD, PDMS etc.), everytime you submit a CV, I can guarantee you that you will be given an opportunity for an interview in English. So my advice to those coming to study in Germany will be to focus on STEM-related courses and DO ALL YOU CAN to master a software skill (either in Nigeria or in Germany via internships or HiWis). I hope this was helpful.

Please guys with due respect how easy or hard is it to remain in germany after your masters to start proper work ...we need talk this one small too...our informed bosses please help us

The truthful answer is, your chances of being in Germany after your school depends heavily on your German Language skill. If you can speak well, you will get a good Job that will give you what you want (holding the following factors constant: political, immigration policy, etc.} My personal opinion, drop everything you are doing and learn the language with all your strength, but if you choose to do it when you arrive here, then you will pay about 200k to learn A1.

Chukwu Okike abịama cool

It will only cost d person €20 at the local government in Germany to get SL.
20 EURO is #8,200 (eight thousand two hundred nair)

That is by far less than 100,000 let alone 1,000,000.
Let's assume inconveniences, time wastage and all that will cost 80,000 more and its still less than 100k.

Let me explain something to you about SL before you begin to hate your Uncles and Aunts for no reason. SL is not like Birth certificate you just walk into the Local government office to collect and pay a little sum as it looks to you, it is actually a proof of sufficiency from who wants to bring the SL, that he is able to pay you 715€ from his income and still go about his normal expenditures. So to get a SL, the person has to prove that he makes at least 2500€ after tax before he can be granted, and you and i know that the person charging you 1 million does not. so he/she somehow has to come up with documents that shows he makes that much and also pays tax on that income. So think very well before you give someone your 1million if he can deliver what you ask of him. PS. I dont give SL
