Gradually gradually we will get there. Nigeria will surely produce it's own technologies. At least you have tried and thanks for believing in Nigerian products that you have even tried.
Still looking forward to more submissions.

If anyone knows where one can get any of the Nigerian made tablets, please do share.

So the error could not be dictated since 2012, this is pure politics of the highest order. Well the affected lectures can make a joint publication on our national dalies and as well write to the ministries concern to avoid any form of " had I know"
Just as I dictated **abi na DETECTED** your error. Ministries concernED* take note.

PropertiesRe: Landlord Gets 3-year Jail Term For Evicting Tenant With Force. by KingIOb: 7:02am On Nov 02, 2014

The landlord caused him damages worth 300,000 and ends up being given an OPTIONAL fine of 50,000?
I don't get it. Someone should please explain the maths and reasoning behind this.
The 50k is payable to the state and not to the tenant. I dont think the tenant's suit includes compensation to a certain amount as damages.
From what I can infer, the case is between the Police and the landlady, a case of forceful ejection only.

PhonesRe: Etisalat 1GB For N2000. Anyone? by KingIOb(op): 4:07pm On Oct 27, 2014
If fair usage applies on this 1GB for N1000, it is a good offer for now, even though they can do better.

But we need to know if this is a promo or a data plan.

I just subscribed to it and it worked. They gave me 1GB instead of 500MB.
They for kukuma put am as a data plan if they intend to continue with it. Moreover it wont hurt if they display it on their website.
PhonesRe: Where Are The Made In Nigeria Tablets? by KingIOb(op): 8:08pm On Oct 23, 2014
With the way China and India, who are in the same category with Nigeria, are producing phones and tablets that are even marketed in Nigeria, I felt that our own Nigerian made ones would also sell here. After all, they were made with Nigeria in mind.

When the news about MINDA broke, they said it's as good as Samsung or Nokia.
Airtel even sold the Bamboo tablets in their shops.
Someone must have at least bought or used any of these gadgets. Pls come share your experience.

PhonesWhere Are The Made In Nigeria Tablets? by KingIOb(op): 2:54pm On Oct 20, 2014
I could remember reading on the net, and even here on Nairaland, some time ago about some tablet PCs and tables phones produced in Nigeria. So many of us welcomed the development and hoped to acquire one soon. We heard of products like Ovim, Inye, Bamboo, MINDA, etc.
I tried searching the net for info on how and where to buy some of these products but I could not get something reasonable or current.
What happened? Are these products no more in the market or they dont have distributors?
Anyone who has bought or used any of the Nigerian made tablets pls share your experience. And please let us know where and how much you bought it.
HealthRe: The Rejected Nigerian Ebola Soldier (A Premium Times Investigative Report) by KingIOb: 8:32pm On Oct 05, 2014
I shudder for those shouting corruption! The reporter responded to a volunteer call but was not taken.

From the LASG Health Commissioner's appeal, was there an assurance that all that applied will be accepted? They must have gotten enough and stopped calling for more persons. Moreover ebola has been contained, doctors resumed work, and no more need for 'the ebola soldiers'.
