Tinubu is visionary, his methods sometimes could be funny, but in the circumstance he finds himself, he cannot be said to have failed. He was state governor and couldn't have fixed electricity but he created an enabling environment for businesses to grow in the state. Many of these touts could have been preventing people from sleeping at night by engaging in serious robberies. Since he didn't have control over the police or military, he identified their primary need: food. So, he created various avenues for them to get the food and put some of them in place to self-check their activities. While this can be very annoying sometimes, especially when we see how those guys act, it is better than having them in our homes at night raping women, beating husbands to death or carting away huge sums of money.
Another angle to Tinubu is that he has eyes for talents and quite detribalized. if the Tinubu that was Lagos State governor rules Nigeria, I doubt if we will ever have an incompetent head again. Because a development plan would be developed that only competent people who have understanding would be elected to follow.
However, with age sometimes, energy and capacities tend to dwindle. So, this may be a huge problem should Tinubu become president.
Meanwhile we have a number of other competent hands, from Dave Umahi, Peter Obi, Yemi Osinbajo etc.
The first person , Dave Umahi may be put in the position of Fashola - I doubt if Fashola has been able to replicate what he did in Lagos quite well across the country. Taking a cue from that, it may not be as easy managing Nigeria for this guy.
Peter Obi on the other hand is one person I heard so much about and have listened to severally. He also seems to have large following. I respect his view of things, especially economics. I believe he also has eyes for talents and knows how to support candidates from behind without necessarily coming out as a godfather. Another huge upside for him is his age. The guy is still young.
However, he is becoming too subservient to Atiku.
Osinbajo on the other hand, though came in through a godfather, if he decides to contest today, he stops being a godson to Tinubu. He has demonstrated significant levels of competence, especially in letting us know how the rule of law can be made to address insecurity as well as promote economic growth and development.
However, he may not interfere with future elections, either directly or indirectly. As such, an incompetent person may just come in and destroy some institutions I am certain an Osinbajo presidency would create especially if another corrupt national assembly is elected.
So, it is important to view Nigeria's primary problems and consider those who may be able to effectively address it and keep her on a path of continued, steady growth and development.
We must shun tribalism and campaign of calumny NOW else, we may not have a country in less than 4 years from now.

Six students have been arrested by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad(RRS) Ekiti State Police Command, in Oye Ekiti for their involvement in cult-related activities, Siggy reports.
The suspects, all students of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti were arrested on Tuesday, March 1st, at about 08:30pm, after the police received an intelligence report that some members of Denorsemen Secret Cult Group were holding a meeting in their hideout in Oye-Ekiti.
The suspected cultists were identified as - Omole Paul(21yrs), Okoro Wisdom(22yrs), David Makinlola(20yrs), Egbabo Kester(22yrs), Raymond Ejekwu(21yrs), and Daniel Chiwumba(28yrs).

Voldoz: The American space agency NASA says a spacecraft has entered the sun’s outermost atmosphere for the first time.
The Parker Solar Probe traveled through the solar atmosphere’s outer edge – known as the corona – in April, scientists announced this week. They said it took them a few months to examine data from the spacecraft and to confirm the result.
Unlike Earth, the sun does not have a solid surface. Instead, it is a superheated ball of material held together by gravity and magnetic forces.
Some solar material escapes and is released into space in what is known as the solar wind. The solar wind is the flow of charged particles, known as plasma, released from the corona into space.
The Parker Solar Probe was launched in 2018 with a main goal of studying the solar wind. Scientists say being able to study the solar wind and the corona close up can help them better understand how solar activity influences Earth.
NASA has described the spacecraft’s entry into the outermost atmosphere as successfully “touching” the sun.
Nour Raouafi is the project scientist on the mission. He is with the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Maryland. Raouafi called the finding "fascinatingly exciting.”
The spacecraft is now able to sense conditions in the magnetically-influenced corona for the very first time, Raouafi said.
He added that the evidence used to confirm the findings included data on magnetic fields and the solar wind, as well as images. “We can actually see the spacecraft flying through coronal structures that can be observed during a total solar eclipse,” Raouafi said.
Scientists announced the findings during a meeting of the American Geophysical Union. Results were also published by the American Physical Society.
The scientists reported Parker was about 13 million kilometers from the center of the sun when it crossed the boundary between the solar atmosphere and the solar wind. They said the spacecraft was able to go in and out of the corona at least three times.
The Parker team said early data also suggested the spacecraft may have entered the corona during its ninth close pass in August. But further study is needed to make a confirmation. The scientists said Parker made its 10th close pass last month.
The spacecraft is expected to keep getting closer to the sun and diving deeper into the corona until its final orbit, planned for 2025.
