Rumour moving on now is that the new development about resumption date is 17th,Nov. Although details about d new development might b officially published.

UNIABUJA STUDENTS' UNION PRESIDENT DISAGREE WITH THE
VICE CHANCELLOR AND REJECT POSTPONEMENT OF RESUMPTION
DATE.
The SUG president, Comr Pelumi in a discussion with the Vice
Chancellor on 22nd of oct, disagree with the management on the
issue of the University resumption date. The VC may be proposing
a postponement of the resumption date due to the incompletion
of the renovation progress of some particular place like hostels
and lecture halls. The SUG President said, the university over the
years have critically suffered academic programme duration
elongated and instability due to several inglorious factors which
has turn a 4 year course to 6 years course in the university. While
we agree with the renovation of the university structure we feel
that the students should be put into serious consideration
However, the president said the university was initially suppose to
re-open on the 13th of october, but was later postpone to 27th of
oct, he further and made it clear to the VC that the entire student
of university of abuja stands to reject in its entirety any
mechanical action that will bring about the postponement from
27th of oct. it is on this note that the entire university of Abuja
students disagree with the proposal of the postponement.
The VC has summoned the SUG President, Dean and Deputy Dean
Students and some stakeholders so as to continue discussion on
this matter of resumption while the VC asked the President to go
round the school and see the state of the renovation. The out
come of the meeting will determine the final resumption date,
however let me therefore announced that the resumption date
still remains 27th of october for new student and 3rd of
november for returning student.

see how easy it was for you too just slam it on us, "till next year", and you are happy about it. have you been too the school yourself?, did the lecturer tell you this, or you made the conclusion on your own.
you are supposed to be rejecting it, even if the lecturer say so. if you guy don't say anything, the school will conclude that you guys accept it, and they would be doing whatever they like, you guys are supposed to be coming back by now, so they will be pressured to do the work quick, if you guys were mounting pressure on them, do you think the work will not have been finished by now? the reason the work is so slow is because students don't care, they are not bothered, so the school is just taking all the time they want.

Ma boss its not ma fault.....I called ma H.O.D today.......its beta I tell u guys now so that u will have dat on mind. Am not saying we are not resuming nxt wik buh its on probability cos there is no calender on that neither am happy for the delay cos me don dey spend ma skul fees money small small.... We can't do anyfin cos we are not in session now... If were on session we could have protested cos protest is the solution to uniabuja crisis and u know we can't protest wen out of session, its not right buh now we av sug they will make finz look easier buh I asked few of the sug members and they told me dat it might be nxt year we don't know for now...... So bro me not happy me just passing the information to u all......

The renovation process is slow tho if we don't resume nxt week am sorry to say this it will be nxt year, let's just keep on praying. I called ma lecturer today and he said the date still remains on 27 but if there are to be any changes we will be informed b4 this week runs out.. The good or bad news is that the faculty of management science might be transferred to p-site aka desert that's what we in mini campus calls it nxt session.... Bye and have a lovely day ahead....

Its high time to tell the rumor carrier that there is no space for
them anymore in Unibuja.
I deem it necessary as usual to respond to the rumor people
are carrying that the school management has inflate our
school fee to #120,000 for science students & #94,000 for
non science students.
Am now telling you all after proper investigations and inquiries
that school fee remains the amount it was if not less than.
My statement of "less than" can be justify as thus.
The #5,000 added to the school fee was for ICT charges during
prof. Sunday Adelabu administration.
The present management may continue with the system of
collecting the ICT charges if they wishes. But if SUG
government can fight against it on time the management can
change their mind on it.
In addition, after proper investigations and inquiries from the
top management officers Mon. 27th of Oct has been declared
as resumption date for both freshers and stalites (new and
retuning students). This is so due to the ongoing renovation of
both hostels and class rooms You are hereby advised to pay
not importance to any fabricated school calendar because
management has not prepared anything called school calendar
for 2014/2015 academic calendar till date.
Lastly, Admission list for 2014/2015 academic session will
soon be pasted both in mini and main campus as promised by
the management.
I hereby apologize on behalf of the people scaring you
unnecessary on social media for inconveniences this might
have caused you.
Any inconveniences is highly regretted.
