We are the reflection of ourselves. Most times I laugh when I see people complaining bitterly about the political class and their looting actions and corruption. The truth is that, we elected the politicians from amongst us. They are our brothers and sisters, our fathers and mothers, our uncles and aunts, our cousins, nephews, and nieces. They didn't fall from the sky.

What they do, most of us will do and do it even more. The corruption is systemic, it's embedded inside us. The foundation is faulty so none should expect a solid building.
We need serious reorientation as a people if we're to break free. This generation is long gone. The younger ones should be reorientated. When money is the sole symbol of progress, that's the result. Anyone would do anything within their powers to amass it.
