Based on the Super Eagles full pitch training session on Tuesday evening, it's difficult to deduce which of the players in camp will start the game against Cameroon on Friday, except in defense.

Dele Alampasu, Ola Aina, Uche Agbo, John Ogu, Eddy Onazi, Odion Ighalo, Shehu Abdullahi, Obi Mikel, Victor Moses, Oghenekaro Etebo and Tyronne Ebuehi played for the team not wearing bibs.

The players in the team wearing bibs were : goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa, defenders Chidozie Awaziem, Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun and Elderson Echiejile, Wilfred Ndidi, Aaron Samuel, Kelechi Iheanacho, Tony Nwakaeme, Ahmed Musa and Mikel Agu.

The game finished 1-1, with Ighalo finding the net for the team not wearing bibs and Leicester City's Ndidi scoring for the other team.

This particular session lasted approximately fifteen minutes, and the players returned back to their hotel after the exercise.

D’Tigress Reach Afrobasket Quarterfinals

Nigeria’s D’Tigress have become the first team to qualify for quarterfinals of the FIBA Afrobasket following their 106-72 win over Egypt.

Evelyn Akhator led the Nigerian charge with 24 points and 13 rebounds as Sam Vincent’s side marched to their third straight win.

Jennifer Atonye posted another double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds while Ezinne Kalu and Sarah Ogoke added 18 and 13 points.

Nigeria’s next match is against Guinea on Tuesday, August the 22nd.

Not everyone knows class when they see one. We are just the ones setting impediments in the form of yardstick of e.g play first team first, play first tier first, play more games etc. I can tell you today that Musa Yahaya -- without any sentiments -- is class, and I don't care if he has played in the first tier. I just know it. I have seen him and I know he can compete at the highest level. I can say the same about a handful of our players regardless of where they are playing or whether they are being utilized well in their clubs. I will know class when I see it. Nura Abdullahi is class. I have seen it. Whether they should start for SE right now, that's another matter. But there is no golden rule to it. Some players get the chance in SE even when not fully established in Europe and never look back. Other disappoint. For me, their stats bring my attention. Video clips is proof.

If I were the coach, many of you won't like me, because I will go with my guts when I see a special player that you think does not deserve a call up.

The bolded is probably the reason Osimhen is banging in call up left right and center

the shake up is long overdue.. but for political interest, most of them would not have found their ways in power

Some of the junior ministers (Ministers of State), it was gathered, are engaged in what has been described as unnecessary friction with their senior ministers, slowing down the process of initiating and implementing policies that would impact on the people.

I've got a 'not so good' news.

My church Teen/youth holiday camp starts tomorrow and I registered for it.

We are allowed to use phone there but I can't update with friends around me, gisting and talking about Telemundo, zeeworld and the rest.

I'm still brainstorming on what to do about these bloggers, who are so bent on shattering my heart, just like Raph did to Dami, before I continue, I will ask the other NL writers for tips on how to make my work safe.

After tonight and tomorrow morning's update, the story will be put on hold till after the august camp, I'm not giving up writing yet, I've got like ten storylines already lined up for me to write on as soon as I finish this one.

clean sheets might be due to good defenders and not great goalkeepers
