Stop typing what you don't know. I am a lecturer in a Public Uni in Nigeria and I have interacted with some of these private Uni guys and lecturers. Most of them I have spoken with are sound. These private Unis push for publications in high impact journals while most public Unis rely on Indian paid websites for publications except few like University of Illorin, Ibadan and afew others. Their graduates now fair better at employment interviews bro and soon I am afraid being an Alumni of these schools may open doors easily for them. Stop saying what you don't really know. As it is currently, I am afraid that the public Unis may soon become like Public sec schools. You mentioned Medical Science, there is a whole private uni in Rivers State that is specializing in Medical Sciences alone, soon you will hear about them. It may also interest you to know that even in America, most of the top ranked schools like Harvard and Yale are Private
