They're not celebrating the amount of money raised. Access Bank is celebrating their ability to borrow from outsiders or the willingness of banks in other countries to risk their monies with a Nigerian bank, considering the high rate of corruption, insecurity, and instability in parts of the country.

If you have an account with this bank, what you should be woried about is how the high interest rate for this loans will affect you. Will it result in unnecessary fee reduction levied on your balance?

For share holders, is it possible for the high interest rates to diminish your yearly dividend payment and return on your investment?

If Access Bank defaults on this loans, you may suffer losses on your shareholder stocks. If the bank managers use the monies raised to buy a private jet or bullet-proof Range Rover, losses will likely be reported at the end of year and shareholder losses will occur.

For depositors, your account may be charged unnecessary fees or you may lose all your cash if these loans are mismanaged and the bank shuts down.

My best friend from school, we met when we're 11, married my ex boyfriend who I introduced her to. I dated the guy when I was 23/24 and turned down his marriage proposal because he was broke and uneducated. So we ended the relationship since I wouldn't marry him.

He approached my bestie and she hid this from me. She actually broke my heart by telling me "she and I can't be friends because I'm a bad influence and she's trying to be a good Muslim woman". I was the bad girl, I smoked, clubbed and didn't wear a headscarf. (I think he told her to drop me)

I found out a couple of years later, (my brother told me she gave birth, and married so and so) I wasn't invited to the wedding obviously, even though we promised to be eachother's bridesmaids

She apologized nearly 8 yrs later for ending our friendship and for judging me but I still haven't met her children or rekindled our friendship. She is still has my heart and will be my best friend but... from a distance.

She made a man out of him though. She put him through school because she was already a graduate. I am angry because she sold herself short! She deserved better than him but... who am I to say that.

I wish them all the good in the world. I just wish he didn't take my blood sister from me. -We made a blood bond in school- a childish act (we pricked our finger with a pin and rubbed the blood)- this made us 'blood-sisters-

This is exactly what obtains in my parents home.growing up,we nicknamed my mum "the engineer".you 'll never hear her argue with my dad on decisions,no matter how annoying his views were but in d end, my mum's views are final.

All these GNLD can brainwash people ehn! During the holidays last year I was looking for a job on Jiji. com and I didn't know or understand what GNLD was, they invited me for an interview. I dressed up, didn't even eat that morning, met other people who came for the interview too and they were saying inspirational quotes and stuff, I got so carried away until they told me to pay 10k as registration fee before I begin and I'd be earning millions and my job was to be the PA to the CEO. I was damn tempted to borrow money and pay the 10k because I was broke at that time till I sought advice from a friend and he laughed it off and said they were a scam.

The thing pain me Ehn!
