Actually, there's none.

But still, that feeling now, that feelings deep inside. I can't explain.

My best friend from school, we met when we're 11, married my ex boyfriend who I introduced her to. I dated the guy when I was 23/24 and turned down his marriage proposal because he was broke and uneducated. So we ended the relationship since I wouldn't marry him.

He approached my bestie and she hid this from me. She actually broke my heart by telling me "she and I can't be friends because I'm a bad influence and she's trying to be a good Muslim woman". I was the bad girl, I smoked, clubbed and didn't wear a headscarf. (I think he told her to drop me)

I found out a couple of years later, (my brother told me she gave birth, and married so and so) I wasn't invited to the wedding obviously, even though we promised to be eachother's bridesmaids cry

She apologized nearly 8 yrs later for ending our friendship and for judging me but I still haven't met her children or rekindled our friendship. She is still has my heart and will be my best friend but... from a distance.

She made a man out of him though. She put him through school because she was already a graduate. I am angry because she sold herself short! She deserved better than him but... who am I to say that.

I wish them all the good in the world. I just wish he didn't take my blood sister from me. -We made a blood bond in school- a childish act (we pricked our finger with a pin and rubbed the blood)- this made us 'blood-sisters-
grin grin grin

The memories, op! Look what you made me type embarassed

It was cathartic I am sure. I have not talked to my best sister-friend for nearly a decade because she wanted to date my brother and I told her it won’t end well she went ahead and dated him anyway and he was exactly what I told her he would be. Somehow it was my fault I did not convince her enough

SO INSTEAD OF BEST FRIEND, WE HAVE GUYS AND MAIN GUY.

I just know she could do better than him... she was turning 25 and her virginity was itching her to loose it but she was saving it for marriage.

I'm confused... did she tell you it was your fault or was she too ashamed to be around you since your brother isn't going anywhere? I think it was the lata undecided

Your best friend just earned my respect 100%.

That's not just a woman that knows what she wants, but also knows how to refine it to her utmost taste.

Sad how your relationship with her panned out but that's life. Hubby will always come before bestie now as far as she's concerned.

So why do men have best men at weddings instead of main guy?
Men do have best friends ..you can argue about that as much as you like but I have heard men refer to someone as “my best friend” more than once or talk about a “best friend”. Perhaps in your circle is not the norm but it is certainly is that norm elsewhere
