But back in the day, with how our troops were a combatant force, it was hard to catch then unawares. Most I guess had heavy experience from guerrilla warfare from being in active combat zones ie Liberia and serria loane, where they faced ambush on a daily basis and had to deal with it.
Dont know if you were around during the orkar coup and saw the kind of soldiers mounting check points searching for coup plotters and other such. Always on the alert, looking like people from the bush! Then we had real troops.

one thing I like Uzodima for is his urban renewal drive for Owerri. This is very key to the growth of owerri

But what i dislike about him is the open gutter roads he is littering in Owerri.

As an imo indigene I won’t lie that the unrest in the southeast has it’s root from imo state.u see those touts loyal to Hope uzodinma and Rochas,ihedioha? They’ve finally made imo state unsafe. Same acts they spread across borders of imo state into Anambra,Enugu. Simon Ekpa foot soldiers are mostly Ebonyi, Imo while chinasa Nworu is Abia.

Anambra is littered with many Abakiliki people and this has increased the insecurity in the state.

And you are from Imo state and forgot that part of Ebonyi state today was in Imo and they assisted in contributing to Owerri's development. Stop being jealous of our Ebonyi people and their fast achievements, they have done well within only 28yrs of their creation, unlike other Igbo state capitals that are all more than 50 years and were collectively developed, especially Enugu city which was developed with funds from the former easter Region under Michael Okpara. Ebonyi people should be proud. They made Igbos proud.
