ANDREW2EIC: @Kingsley, My bro, I perfectly understand where you are coming from. You may wonder, why perfectly? Do u really know how I feel? Yea, I do! How? Because I have same story to tell, just that mine appears worst.

Each time I have a flashback of the happenings in my life since I left high school in 2010, uncontrollable tears roll down my cheek from my eyes. I do shed tears not because I feel that I am a loser or a failure, but because I feel that difficulties only make me stronger. Yea, stronger!

Well, I don't feel like telling my story in details right now, perhaps I will do that someday. If not for any other thing, I have learnt to take frustration in my stride.

Even if I do not get admission this year(though the probability of that happening is zero), I will not give up writing another Jamb next year. I honestly thank God for everything, because I will go into the university more prepared for life after school.

I have also made up my mind boss...If the result is in the POSITIVE or NEGATIVE...I will find an alternative..But by the Grace of God the result will be POSITIVE.

I also pray that the candidates who truly DESERVE this admission will get it...e.g KINGSLEY,ANDREW,GAMEBOI,ALLEN KEE etc.....we are TUSKITES in JESUS NAME!!

Your contributions are spot on I must say. Sometimes I just wish I could forget about this admission list of a thing and move on, but that doesn't seem to work out for me.

I keep surfing UI and Uniuyo's websites on daily basis with great expectations of good news, but I am always greeted with static websites that have nothing new on them.

Gutted and disenchanted because of delay? Yes! Tired of waiting till the appointed time? No! #TeamNeveGiveUp#

i know how you feel brother....as i write this message for my fellow UNIUYO aspirants to read...i write with a sorrowful heart, more than 90% of my highschool classmates have gotten admission into various UNIVERSITIES. I can AUTHORITATIVELY say that i am MORE INTELLIGENT than MOST of them...I am so sad right now.

I know people will say that i shouldn't be sad or that i shouldn't worry...but i'm HUMAN. I never imagined that in the year 2013 i'll still be searching for admission after graduating 4rm high school in 2011....*I'm really sad*

To every stratagemed modus operandi there is always a ''Murphy's Law'' and the last time I checked, In Nigeria, Everything goes. I don't expect that time-limit to be conformed with, afterall Most Nigerian Universities are just being recalcitrant and trying to play the outlaw game. Errhm! Did somebody say NUC? Okay, yeah! You did. I could still remember 2011 when a friend of mine gained admission in January 2012 after she had bought Jamb form and filled it. If only NUC were rigid in the execution of its laws, Institutes of higher learning would have been comme il faut-ed of these reprobate comportment.

LMAO...now i know i'm not the only fan of PATRICK OBAHIAGBHON. Like i said in my previous post, the regulators NUC,JAMB in particular are not living up to their billing.

NUC or JAMB deadline? I thought it was the latter though. Anyways, I don't believe that's going to work. We all know that anything can go in this part of the world.

If my memory is serving me right, this same deadline was given last year by Jamb, but none of the institutions heeded to it. This actually happened in a year when there was no obstructions such as strikes or elections to the academic calenders of our universities. So, there is no way the deadline is going to work even if the strike is called off today.

One thing we all should agree on is that admission exercise will still be on till next year.

i saw on an article That it is NUC that gave the directive, back to the issue, i couldnt agree more with you because, some schools are yet to conduct their postume i.e BSUM,ABU ZARIA etc. This goes to show the LACK OF DISCIPLINE, LACK LUSTRE, NON-CHALANT attitude of our institutions. I mean, REGULATING INSTITUTIONS such as JAMB/NUC gave a DEADLINE and some schools are yet to conduct POSTUME, in better societies the Schools that are faulting,faulted or about to fault, ought to be HEAVILY PENILISED. But nooo, not here in my beloved country Nigeria schools just do as they wish.

Imagine this, a deadline is given...in this case 31st of october.. students are so happy because, they know that before that date they[students] will know thier fate....But noo ASUU goes on STRIKE, SCHOOLS DELAY THEIR POSTUME,ADMISSION LIST etc...putting the aspirants/students in a VERY TENSE condition...even as i dey type this essay my eye's don red like say i take PARAGA.

I BLAME all THESE PROBLEMS on WEAK INSTITUTIONS, lets face it people our institutions that are meant to safeguard orderliness are JUST NOT DOING IT e.g NUC,JAMB,EFCC,ICPC etc

gameboi: In church today there was confussion in the praise band thanks to UNIUYO admission list worry. I can't remember when Last I played a musical instrument with many thoughts running across my mind. From my keyboarding to my drumming to my bass-guitaring. Damn! I just wished church would end so quickly. This UNIUYO admission list is giving me the thing one would call a Lingering Heebie-jeebie.

I think NUC will have to SHIFT the deadline(31st october) to a later date because, the ASUU strike has destabilized the academic calender for 2013. There are some schools that are yet to write POSTUME exam i.e BSUM,ABU ZARIA etc, so i believe NUC will have to shift the deadline.

The supplementary list(s) will come after the MERIT LIST probably NOVEMBER.

This is my calculation...SSANU calls off 2weeks old strike..which means the strike started last week in september, that means we should expect the merit list last week of October.

Is it possible for UNIUYO to admit a candidate into a course he/she didnt apply for...Particuly on the merit list. Example, Mr.A applied for POL SCI and was admitted into PUBLIC ADMIN, can that scenario happen in UNIUYO.

Any Idea when the first list is coming out, because my anxiety gave me HBP(high blood pressure), seriously 160/90. So therefore UNIUYO should endeavour to release the admission list soon ooo...iTs aproxim8ly 3weeks after release of the result...#Patience#

AhA Uniabj!!!...I applied 4 Uniabj in the year 2011, i scored 259 and my O'level result is okay...I was so confident that i will be admitted into the school but guess what when the list(s) came out, most of those admitted were those that scored 200-220,180-190 suprisingly students that scored 170 were also admitted and they were admitted into PROFESSIONAL COURSES like LAW,MEDICINE etc..while those that truly deserved the admission were left out...Once again i scored 259. Whats my point?? My point is, if you Want a good school that is MODERATELY fair apply to schools with proven credibility I'e Unical,Uyo,Jos,Port,Uniben,OAU,Ilorin etc there are many of them....But DO NOT apply To UNIABJ.. UNIABJ will only waste your time...#i stand to be corrected#.
