1. Never toy with chances ( SE lost many scoring chances )

2. Never underestimate smaller challenges ( SE underestimated the under dogs e.g Sudan and Congo )

3. Never give yourself unrealistic targets when you have put yourself in a tight corner ( SE suddenly realized that they needed to win their last 3 matches against opponents who are equally willing to win)

4. Never allow a stubborn headed man to lead you if you have a choice ( A leader largely determines the future of a team or a group so if your leader is suffering from Keshimiasis, then you had better backout before the chicken come home to roast )

5. Never allow your seeming successes get into your head ( Just because you are the defending champ. doesnt mean " say na only you waka come?" )

6. Never do things in a fire brigade approach, plan well from day one ( SE really didnt plan well, they got what they deserved )
