President Barack Obama told an audience Thursday what he misses most about his old residence.

The former president said what he longs for most from the White House is sitting on the Truman Balcony during summer nights, looking off at the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial, a source at the event told the New York Post.

Obama’s made the comments during an appearance at the A&E Networks advertising upfront at The Pierre Hotel in New York, where he received a standing ovation. Presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin interviewed Obama for an hour and a half in front of network advertisers.



The event earned Obama a $400,000 speaking fee, just days after it was reported the president pocketed $400,000 for agreeing to deliver a speech to a Wall Street bank, Cantor Fitzgerald, in September. The Wall Street speaking fee drew criticism from some on the left and right. Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts said the high-dollar Wall Street speech “troubled” her.

Also at the A&E event, Obama told Goodwin that he still has yet to be behind the wheel of a car in his more than three months out of office. The former president is also still learning how to use the coffee machine in his Washington, DC, home.

Ice Prince has denied any clash with fellow singer, Davido, in Warri.

Earlier reports revealed that the singers who were in Warri for a show, Delta Alive, organized by CEO Quillox, Shina Peller, came to blows in which some of the equipments back stage were reportedly detroyed.

According to Ice Prince’s manager Nanle, the rapper and Davido had no problem in Warri.

Nanle exclusively told Pulse “There was no dispute between anybody. After the event, both Davido and Ice Prince went clubbing.”

LIB reported that the drama began when a G-Wagon was sent to pick Davido up from the airport, while a saloon car was used in picking Ice Prince.


The “Oleku” crooner was reportedly infuriated by the gesture and bared his mind to the organizers of the event.

Davido was reportedly infuriated and the situation only got worse during the concert when Ice Prince was made to perform before Lil Kesh, which was seen as an insult as he is a bigger star.

Back at the house, series of events unfolded, some negatively graced the Internet, the media went into a frenzy, actions were misinterpreted whenever the 2nd runner up of the Big Brother Naija 2017, Tboss Idowu comes up in the news.
Actions were blamed on her, she was accused of witchcraft, BBN rigging intent, contempt was on her. It can be recalled that she rarely graced the Internet for the right reasons, if not that she failed to recite the National anthem then it could be because evictions were blamed on her.
What message am I trying to convey, the HATE on her was/is much.
A lot of people refused to campaign for her, not because she wasn’t worth their campaign but just because she wasn’t on their liking radar. This apparently saw to it that the ‘boss lady’ never smelt the trophy nor 1st runner place, a popular celebrity said she was hated because of her skin colour.
One of the reasons Tboss did not clinch the trophy I think is the fact that those who campaigned for her were a bit rude, silly in some aspect, her sister Wendy being an example.
Recall that Nigerians dragged her for saying they(Idowus) suffered racism while growing up both in Nigeria and Romania. According to her, they suffered acceptance in Nigeria because of their skin color and mixed nationality, Finally ended by saying Tboss is being hated by Nigerians because she’s light-skinned.
While all this was going on, I kept contemplating that the Boss Lady will try to win back the love of the nation on her because I believe that once Nigerians have swept you under their feet, written down your name in the black book of their heart, then your way forward is only a miracle.
Tboss is trying her best to win the love of Nigerians over her again, she reportedly forgave Kemen whose saga contributed to somewhat hate on her forgiving him was a step forward, and then she went on live video to talk about
‘The groping saga’ where apparently it all started, insinuating a way forward is a better option, secondly she is not in a fight with anyone as at the time of publishing this post even when clearly she isn’t on the offending side, Helen Paul and AY as examples.
I know all these and more she has in mind should get people back to her, but then comes Christopher and Wendy Idowu whose actions might keep that plan of hers chained, just when she thought all the hate Nigerians had for her will die with the show, her siblings are trying to make it a tough choice for her.

The Federal Government says its anti corruption agencies have been inundated with information of how looters have resorted to burying stolen funds in their backyards, deep forests and burial grounds.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, who disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday in Lagos, said the whistle blower policy is working and has led to the recovery of more looted funds in many currencies.

Mohammed assured in a statement signed by his Special Adviser, Mr Segun Adeyemi, that all the recovered looted funds were safe and government will give full account to Nigerians.

The minister thanked Nigerians for their enthusiasm and commitment in helping the government to tackle corruption through disclosure of useful leads to appropriate government agencies.

“Since we launched the whistle blower policy, we have received immeasurable support from Nigerians.

“Yes, there is monetary reward for any information that leads to recovery of looted funds, but..........

Players and officials of Enyimba FC have been attacked by irate fans of Katsina United FC after the goalkeeper of the Aba-based club, Fatau Dauda, allegedly punched a ball boy in the face.

In retaliation, fans of the Premier League newcomers (Katsina United), tried to attack Dauda who had to be escorted by policemen from the pitch soon after the match.


Missing a reprisal on Dauda, the crowd then attacked the Enyimba team, destroying their bus, and injuring some of the players and officials.

However, Dauda told journalists that he was being targeted because he was a foreigner, insisting he never punched the boy.

The goalie added that the referee had to send the ball boy away from the game because of time wasting.


He said: “The said ball boy was finally sent out by the referee. So if I had punched the boy, I should have been shown a card. I don’t know where these lies are coming from.”



The game, played on Sunday at the Karkanda Stadium in Katsina, ended 2-1 in favour of the home side.

Zidane a ‘motherf****r’ in an explosive rant with Real Madrid coach during Wednesday’s 4-2 win over Leganes.
