JP swallows all offers.......what comes to mind is the analysis about Wyckoff’s Three Laws
1. Law of Supply and Demand 👉 Big money clue: Institutions quietly accumulate (buy gradually) when supply is high and the public is selling. Later, they distribute (sell gradually) when demand is strong and the public is buying.
2. Law of Cause and Effect 👉 Big money clue: When institutions build large positions (cause), the eventual move (effect) is usually big and sustained.
3. Law of Effort vs. Result 👉 Big money clue: Institutions often leave footprints in volume vs. price behavior. For example, high volume with little downward movement may mean they are buying into the selling.

Mr Taiwo himself is coming to clarify things.
My own is sha for him to confirm that reinvestment clause.
With that, I won't have any business at all with CGT. |

Thank you for mentioning Taiwo. i will try to listen and read more of his discussion on the subject matter. GeneralDae: I would dig further but I think I have heard Taiwo Oyedele say there are exemptions. The problem with information on this new tax laws generally is that people prefer to listen to influencers and non tax experts and then ignore Taiwo and the FIRS guys who are all over the place answering questions and explaining.
“There is an exemption threshold raised: for sale of shares in Nigerian companies, the gross proceeds threshold is now ₦150 million in any 12 consecutive months. Also, gains do not exceed ₦10 million in that period may qualify under the exemption”. “For individuals, CGT continues but will be taxed at the individual’s applicable income tax rate (“progressive tax band”) rather than a flat 10%”. |

I previously mentioned the confusion surrounding CGT and how it is negatively affecting the market, though I was rebutted. I sincerely hope that the FG, CBN, NGX, and all other relevant bodies will come out to clearly explain how these policies will impact the market going forward. Sweeping issues under the carpet is no longer acceptable, as people are now more informed. This is my candid opinion. kintus: As part of what I think can help the market recover fast at a time like is further clarity on the tax proposal
Affirmation that such taxes won’t impact earnings significantly could offer relief, especially for banks. |

Truly, Game is game. If i was advise him, I won't recommend presco considering that fact that it is already a large cap.... More like a low risk stock on NGX. Banking sectors with excellent fundamentals won't be bad. You're doing well, Sir. crownprince2017: This game is a game of percentage, it doesn't matter if if it's 1 per share or 1k per share. Percentage is calculated on the invested capital and not on the quantity of the shares.
Thinking about the quantity your money can buy is more of emotional calculations rather than real numbers calculations. |

MOST COMMONLY: Dividend is calculated based on the quantity of shares held. Types of dividends: 1. Cash Dividend 2. Stock (or Scrip) Dividend 3. Bonus Issue 4. Interim Dividend 5. Final Dividend 6. Special Dividend 7. Capital Return / Liquidation Dividend ✅ Summary: Cash and stock dividends are the most common on NGX. Interim and final describe timing. Special, bonus, and capital returns are less frequent but relevant for corporate actions and portfolio planning. Assuming Zenith declares and interim dividend of 0.5k per share....and shareholder 'A' has 20,000units of zenith bank shares ---- shareholder 'A' will be entitled to 20,000*0.5 = N10,000. Smartguyboy: Please can someone tell me how dividend is being calculate in Nigeria stock market please. |

Is this your position different from mine? if you're so sure that my TA is without NAFDAC NO, why do you have to wait till next week or third week of Sept to start seeing green? Who told you the bulls will hit the market in three weeks? Or are you one of them who is bringing the bulls? I understand we are all bleeding and it is important we don't let our emotions get in the way by typing derogatory statements. I come in peace as a student of Agba and Loco combined. crownprince2017: Don't worry yourself, all this speculation will end next week, by third week of the month the bull will hit the market and all this no NAFDAC TA will end in water.
Let him continue to they wait for bottom in Good stocks. |

The reason for TA and FA. Even though NGX act a bit unusual and out of this world (because I don't see it following the normal trend of market movement, rather manipulations here and there). Also, take note that none of the post is indicative of suggesting a bottom..NEVER.... yet, there is a place for use TA and FA in the opinions...... We have many newbies here and we can't keep encouraging unguarded entry into the market even when all indices suggest a need for patience and caution at a time like this. yMcy56: No one knows it all in this market.... You're just reading trend I guess.... Market can be unpredictable...... If you can categorically tell us when the market is hitting the bottom and it happens so, then I'll give it up for you.
* Hope you have the patience of Agba to keep waiting and keeping vigil to wait for the bottom? Hope you're also ready to wait for as long as many years? If you see the bottom, hope you no go pick race again? 😁 |

The green of today isn't sustainable...this is what is still playing out. You can only keep averaging down until we hit the bottom pot.kintus: In a bear market.....prices will drop by 8-9% and gain by 3-4%.... it keeps going down gradually until you'll discover your portfolio is in 20-30% loss....
That's how it works....so don't rejoice when you see a bounce.....some could be a reaction a certain SUPPORT......pray that support isn't broken, if it does, then down down we go. |
