This article was written by Adejoro Olumofin aka "Doktor" Mofin the Relationship Consultant. 10 tips on How to get a Boyfriend: 1) Remove guys from your friendzone list : "Friendzone" is a mental classification or categorization of a guy or group of guys in a lady's mind I.e she sees a guy as a non sexual object or as a brother. Some single ladies today see having a lot of guys on their friendzone list as an achievement or an award, they enjoy the fact that guys keep trying to get their attention or approval while they call him things like "bro" , "cuz" , "G" "padi" "Egbon" as a means to discourage him from trying to talk to them or ask them out. My question is ; if you're single and you're looking for a boyfriend why have so many guys as just friends without giving them chances? Or opportunities to prove themselves to you. Marriage counsellors have revealed that most couples were initially just friends or co-workers before they started dating. Un-friendzone some guys and see where it leads, you may just be swept off your feet or be walking down the aisle soon. 2) Smile Often ; Look Approachable: A lot of guys are discouraged to approach a Lady who has a strong or mean face. Some ladies attend weddings or fashion shows just to frown their faces, men may be scared of instant rejection or think you're just mean. Primacy Effect in Psychology makes emphasis on first impression being an important factor in perception. So Ladies if your face is strong and your heart is soft make an effort to smile more. This makes you look more approachable, most men don't like being rejected in public by a woman so they would be most likely discouraged to approach you if you're always wearing a hard / strong face See full list: http://newspepa.com/flamboyant-psychologist-10-tips-on-how-to-get-a-boyfriend-43526 |

Rising musician, Adekunle Gold in an interview with City People has revealed how he was discovered by Olamide and life before becoming a YBNL signee. Excerpts below: How did you get the name Adekunle Gold? I got the name in 2008 after an encounter with GOD because I have always wanted to be something different aside Adekunle Kosoko. I was in school then and I told GOD that I wanted a name, I know the importance of brand development and branding, I want to be known for something else. In a sermon, the preacher was saying you can’t substitute Brass for Gold, he said it three times and I just took the clue. I started using Adekunle Gold, Kosoko can rest for now, that’s how I got name. I am a singer, song writer, brand developer and I still do my graphics, am just a regular guy. How did music start for you? Music started from way back, I grew up listening to lots of OBEY’s songs. When my dad takes us to school then, he used to play classics like OBEY, BARRISTER and the likes. I developed interest in a lot of cultural and Yoruba songs, maybe that’s why I am heavy in Yoruba sounds. I was in the teen’s choir in church and I was always fighting to get the microphone to perform in church. Getting a solo in church means you are very good back then but if you don’t get it, you are not anything too relevant. Every Sunday I try so hard to get the microphone and impress the choir mistress, I was in the church for seven years or more and I never got the microphone, meaning that I was not good. I went on doing my thing, I was in a band called The Bridge, and we featured GT the GuitarMan in 2011 and Skales in 2011 too. We did a lot of covers; we did All of Me which was what got us the most attraction. I remembered when John Legend tweeted that we should tweet our cover at him and he will favourite his favourite one and retweet it, we did that and he favourited ours. When the term ‘billionaire’ pops up in Nigeria, it is easy to refer to the likes of Aliko Dangote, Mike Adenuga or Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija. However there are some Nigerian billionaires you might not know that keep things on a low key. 1 Jimoh Ibrahim – Nicon Insurance, Global Fleet: The story of Jimoh Ibrahim cannot fail to inspire anyone treading the path to become successful in life. Born to poor parents with about 17 siblings on 24 February 1967, he became a millionaire when he was still studying law at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) running seminars for local governments on Taxation. In 2002/2003 he contested for the governorship position of Ondo State but lost and he went on to start Global Fleet – a petroleum marketing company. A Nigerian Facebook user named Uvie Urakpor wrote a wonderful piece on things he learnt from a simple N5oo note used by a motivational speaker to give a talk. This is truly inspiring and thought-provoking: 1. It happened some time ago but . I was in an audience listening to a motivational speaker. The speaker got out his wallet & pulled out a 500 Naira note. Holding it up, he asked, “Who wants this 500 naira note?” Lots of hands went up. Including mine. A slow chorus began to build as people began to shout “Me!” “Me!” I began to wonder who the lucky one would be who the speaker would choose. And I also secretly wondered (and I am sure others did too ) why he would simply give away 500 naira. Even as the shouts of “I want it” grew louder, I noticed a young woman running down the aisle. She ran up onto the stage, went up to the speaker, and grabbed the five 500 naira note from his hand. “Well done, young lady,” said the speaker into the microphone. The speaker simply say “Most of us just sit and wait for good things to happen. That’s of no use. You’ve got to make things happen. Make a move” ‘Simply thinking about doing something is of no use and not gud enough’. Our lives are like that. Some call it ‘chyking’, most term it as ‘toasting’ but the truth is, wooing a woman the Nigerian way is never easy. Hence, a lot of guys out there have devised means of executing the job with nicely crafted words but these ones are just too funny and will never get the job done: 1. You look familiar, have we met before? The lady usually replies with “No, I don’t think so” and he goes, “Oh common don’t tell me you can’t remember me. ..”. So in a bid to keep things flowing, the girl obliges and chats or she tells the person off. 2. Your father must be a terrorist because baby, you are the bomb. 3. You are the sugar in my tea and the only cockroach in my cupboard. Read on: http://newspepa.com/photos-10-rib-cracking-sentences-nigerian-men-use-while-toasting-women-34572
