Let me give you a very good pieces of advice: don't get unneccessarily agitated. just remain yourself. everything to be done are things you've done before. At least, everyone ha project defense presentation in school, so the presentation issue should not make you panic at all.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by kizoic: 12:00pm On Jun 29, 2007
All materials needed for the presentation will be provided.
They didnt make provision for any electronic presentation during my own and I dont think they will for anyone. We made use of flipcharts/boards.
The I.V. asks you to bring all your testimonials so my dear friends go with everything that is called certificates and testimonials.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by kizoic: 9:13am On Jun 28, 2007
they were silent on dress code. i went in one of my best suit though but i dont think it will form the basis for the assessment.
just try and look good or rather feel good in whatever you put on.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by kizoic: 9:11am On Jun 28, 2007
more than 5 assessors will asses a person; at different times though.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by kizoic: 9:09am On Jun 28, 2007
about 20 people were assesd per day and it will run till about mid july.
that means we are not less than 400 as at now. i dont know how many they will employ.

hi all!
just relax and be calm.
the assesment center does not worth all the anxiety afterall. its more or less a typical workday.
you'll be ther for a minimum of 8hrs; with tea break and lunch time in between.
just relax your mind and be calm. anxiety may affect your performance.
the whole process did not go beyond what was in the attachment.
good luck!
meet you in the training.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by kizoic: 12:10pm On Jun 25, 2007

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by kizoic: 11:44am On Jun 25, 2007
this is the attachment. i'm sorry for the delay, its actually due to the strike.
and another thing, i sincerely hope this file opens on all computers cos i've been trying to convert it to pdf format but no show.  so if you have microsft office image support on your system it will definitely open, else, good luck!
ops, this file wouldn't attach, its bigger than the allowed size of 200kb. i think its about 355 kb.
ok lets do it this way for as many as i can easily trace there email from nairaland profile here i'll try and send it
and , and PLEASE pass it on to others,
am already using official hours for personal issues now of which time will not allow me trace everybody's email address.
one love

Kuwena, the letter was not categorical about the dress code or whatever, it only stated that I am invited for the next stage of their recruitment process called assesment center. It's most likely to be the last stage 'cos an attachment was enclosed with the letter which gave a brief description of what the process (assesment center) could look like. And of course, according to the content, it may take a whole day.
As par our guys who haven't got theirs yet, there is no cause for alarm 'cos the process may last up to 3 or 4 weeks, and if you have been sent a letter they might still contact you on phone to assertain that you've got the letter, just as they did for me this morning. One lady (name witheld) called me some minutes ago to confirm whether I've seen my letter of invitation.
So guys, just make sure that your phone is always within reach.

I'm scared.
I got mine on friday (15th) and I'm scheduled fro 26th June; that means I've got barely a week to prepare.
Anyone in the house with info on what exactly to expect? Pls let brotherly love continue.
Politics / Re: Obasanjo Angry With Yaradua Over Kingibe by kizoic: 1:48pm On Jun 08, 2007
Lets put sentiments apart and face the issue squarely.
I don't think Kingibe's appintment is bad at all.
Yes, he was a minister during Abacha regime, but he's not the only one who worked with Abacha and still found his way in the 'Saintly' OBJ cabinet.
For crying out loud, Kingibe is a politician and he is the only one amidst the trio of Yar'adua, Goodluck and Himself who has got the experience to really cordinate things.
How many of us remembered that a good number of the so called Obj's men actually wined with Abacha?
What do you have to say about Ojo Maduekwe and co who were calling on Abacha to perpetuate himself in power and also doing the same with Obj via the '3rd term bill'
My people, Kingibe is old, agreed; but hes got the experience which we cannot wish away in running a complex society like ours.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Any News On Chevron Drilling Rep Skills Test by kizoic: 1:26pm On Jun 08, 2007
They were called exactly 2wks after the test, i.e. last week ending, and the interview is for June 11 and 12. Unfortunately, I didn't make it too, but a good number of my friends made it. Goodluck to them though; , but how I wish I made it too. I guess my best wasn't just enough.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by kizoic: 1:06pm On Jun 08, 2007
I wouldnt know when the letters will start rolling in, but i'm very sure in no distant time.
I would have said the interview letters but i'm already seeing that as a walkover; mere formalty.
If you share in my optimism, why don't you just keep this thread on?
shalom!
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by kizoic: 3:29pm On Jun 06, 2007
