Bros, Is this 2000 ccord?
Your caption should have been "Lagos cleared registered 2003 Accord"
What is automatic break system? I guess you mean ABS which is translated ANTI-LOCK BREAK SYSTEM.
What is that break oil container doing there? It speaks a lot you know!
Wish you happy sales though.

PDC is an unknown party, but is listed just before PDP in the ballot papers. A lot people made mistakes of casting their votes for PDC when they actually intended voting PDP. this is why PDC results are higher than most other unknown parties. Statiscally, PDC votes as a percentage of PDP votes should be similar across the country. This should be very informative of the credibilty of results posted across the country. while this figure is about 0.57% in lagos, it is as low as 0.1% in anambra and some south-east and south-south states. You can draw your inferences from this analysis
Guy, I'm impressed with your observation and analysis. I had similar view but i cudnt lay my hands on the figures readily. So if what I'm thinking is what you are thinking, then CPC has a very good case. I will not say more than that because of some ethnic bigots on this forum.

Crime / China Again: Vandalising Pipeline by kizoic: 7:01am On Jan 15, 2011
Seven Chinese are in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps following the discovery of seven drums of petrol in their premises.

The suspects: Li Tao, Wang Dong, Di Sheng, Yun Di, Tony Yang, Cheng Chao, Ping Mei were arrested on Thursday by a team of Anti-Vandal operatives led by the Zonal Commandant of the Zone A Command Headquarters in Lagos, Sam Oyemachi, who was at the Diamond Estate to investigate complaints by resident that their wells have been polluted by fuel from the vandalised NNPC pipelines behind the estate. Also arrested are Helen Osuah, a house wife from Edo State and her 11-year-old daughter who had gone to the pipeline site to scoop fuel for their personal use.

Mr Oyemachi also visited the vandalised pipeline with his team and saw the numerous wells dug by the vandals. He said that the area should be declared a disaster zone. "I am at the pipeline site behind the Diamond Estate with my officers and what we saw here is very frightening," he said. "The whole area is a disaster zone and we are amazed at the level these vandals have gone. On our part, we have continued to inform the government of the disaster here.

The people are building houses very close to the pipeline and any spark here will consume the place. What we used to have were holes; now we have a canal dug by the NNPC, but they are not doing their job to solve this problem. From our investigation, we noticed that all the churches in this area are hideouts for vandals and we found fuel in Jerry cans in the building. On our part, we will place a tight security around the place. I have mandated our officers to begin a twenty four hours patrol and surveillance of the area so that we can protect this place effectively."

The denials

One of the suspects, Mr Yang, said they are not vandals. "We are not vandals; we saw Nigerians scooping fuel from the bush behind the estate and we also scoop fuel," he said. "So we do not know that it is illegal. We are generator merchants and we are not vandals. The fuel is behind our building and everybody in the estate come to scoop it, so we scoop too."

Mrs Osuah, who had been arrested by the security officials last year, equally denied that she is a vandal. "I came to scoop fuel with my daughter, we need fuel for our generator," she said. "And people in the estate, even the police and the civil defence people come to scoop fuel here so we just came to take fuel for our generator,"

Mr Oyemachi said the suspects will be prosecuted. "We are taking them to our office at Alausa for interrogation," he said. "We have cordoned their premises and taken the drums as exhibits."

Well this time al av to thank u for your sanely response.
Am original and a free minded person and so should everybody be even though am conscious of the implications of exposing where I work here. But as u can c a couple of people wrote posts that was quite spiteful. But as for the risk am not really bothered cos am a niger delta youth and I av nothing to fear (Its only a silly dog that barks b4 an elephant). well I consider NNPC to be a multi national corporation cos we av onshore, offshore and international assets and investments in upstream, mid stream & downstream operations both in nigeria, africa and beyound.
Niger Delta. . .
OK! ! ! . . . now you just proved me right.

Sometimes I just wonder why nigerians can be so costumely and rude, dats why I dont blame some wealthy people who av apathy to the plight of necessitous nigerians. kizoic, no harm meant but if u dont av decorum and ure an ignoramus, u dont need to show it here as there so many other threads to dump your unwholesome salvos. This thread is not where u vent your frustration about the recent NNPC recruitment, its simple alot of people were applying so it wud av required common sense to read the general information carefully and apply when the internet traffic wud be lighter eg at nite. About insolvency, if u dont know anything about financial accounting, I advise u enrol for a basic accounting course or ask some1 knowledgeable on the subject matter. Let me tell u a simple arithmetic, if NNPC is insolvent nigeria will also be insolvent. NNPC sells and accounts for all of nigeria's crude oil, gas and condensate. This tranlates to over 90% of nigeria's exports and foreign exchange. This is distributed btw the fg, states and lgs.
If u dont know the man(minister) who mendaciouslysaid this had been relieved of his duties long ago. Please be careful as this may be my last warning to u.
I've been expecting ur reply since. . . It's like u just arrived office where u'll have access to "free internet access"
For ur information, I don't have anything against ur "MULTINATIONAL" Company . . . I hope u know the meaning of a multinational company anyway, because, for me, NNPC is a NATIONAL Oil Company. I have some good friends their and for all I know, these guys are some of the very best brains in this country.
Truth may be bitter and that explains why Remi Babalola was relieved of his duty as Finance Minister (State). Remember what happened to the CBN Governor, Sanusi Lamido when he said the National Assembly is gulps a whopping 25% of our budget.

The fundamental issues here are:
1. I understand it's meant to be a joke, I mean your post and therefore its in a wrong section
2. The guy who responded before you threw in your MULTINATIONAL bulls**t doesn't mean any harm, you only took it personal. You now went too far by mentioning where you are working thereby exposing yourself and NNPC staff to unnecessary risk. Remember you said you are very comfortable in a country where more than 80% live below $1 a day.
3. You don't have to react or respond to everything you read on the internet, talk less of an interactive media like nairaland.
4. Everybody is entitled to their opinion no matter how "St*p*d" it is.

I work with NNPC in the NNPC's corporate headquarters in Abuja if u must know, people should be humble and modest in public forums like this, cos nobody knows tomoro and the personalities of others. And am very confident and sure avin put in a gud no of years that by nigerian standards NNPC workers are quite comfortable.
By this your action, you are neither humble nor modest.

Well, it may be hard. But the truth is "a known devil is better than unknown saint".
Since she made the confession, I think she may have a point to prove that she's changed and old things have passed away, and thus she's sinning no more.
And in addition, its obvious the guy is showing a lot of maturity in handling the whole stuff.

Thank God for God sha, His strength is made perfect in our weakness
