From the look of it. It was built with Shopify and I wouldn’t advice you to do otherwise if he/she wants exactly that kinda of website. Perhaps if you build the frontend with bootstrap. Would you also build the backend?

Simply use Shopify, but note that Shopify is per month payment and it is quite expensive.

Only use it if your client can pay such amount monthly.
More so you need the knowledge of Shopify to do what he wants. It is not so difficult but being that it has a benchmark then you must be good at it.

What’s up guys , I’m new to web development tho. So I have this client, who wants an e-commerce website exactly like www.gallerydept.com .

But my issue is after doing inspect with the browsers, I noticed that they didn’t make use of bootstrap and I’m only familiar with bootstrap. They made use of a Shopify cdn for themes.


Is there a way to convert or recreate with bootstrap? Or even normal html and css?

Good dey guys..... I was discussing with a friend of mine. He wants to move out of the country(uk) but his parents are trying to cajole him to stay ( he’s from a well to do family and they are financially capable)

His plan is after nysc he would go for masters and find his way.

He is 21 and currently serving (he’s field is IT)
But the issue is that his parent are trying to fine tune his head to stay (he’s the last born)

Their excuse is that
1) you would do menial jobs there
2) there is nothing there
3) even if you get a good job there, it’s difficult to rise as a black man
4) you will be lonely

Their main bone of contention is that there is nothing there.
Note: his dad and 4 other siblings out of 5 studied in the uk tho.

My friend doesn’t even want to stay atall, most of his friend are in the uk, he doesn’t have friends in Nigeria except a few. He doesn’t like going out because he said his mind is not in Nigeria. If you see him ehn you will know that he’s depressed. All he wants is to move to the uk.

He’s not even a badboy he doesn’t smoke, drink
He’s not a womanizer

(2 of his siblings have been in the UK SINCE early 2000’s and are already citizens)

The dad also isn’t saying he should not go, but after service, he should get a job first probably with Goverment (due to job security because his dad retired with the government) then work 2-3 years before going for his master.

His point his that he wants to go now that the funds and everything is intact. What if something should happen in future nko?

My advice for him his to leave immediately after service after all he has siblings who are in their early 40’s there to put him through and also a lot of family friends there

The Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Ndudi Elumelu, on Wednesday, April 20, called on the House to demand the resignation or sacking of the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami, over allegations he was sympathetic to the cause of Jihadist leaders and deadly Islamic sects.

Controversy has been surrounding Pantami due to views he expressed in the past, propagating the cause of extremist Islamist sects.

Pantami has now renounced some of the controversial comments, sting that they "were based on my understanding of religious issues at the time."

Speaking at the Plenary on Wednesday, Elumelu said: "Mr Speaker, I have a ‘privilege’ point of order under Order 6 Rules 1 and 2. My privilege bothers (on the issue of) one of the serving ministers called Sheikh Ali Isa Ibrahim Pantami.

"There have been insinuations that he has direct links and personally subscribes to the extreme Islamic beliefs of al-Qaeda, Taliban and Boko Haram sects. There are evidence, compelling, on the cyber space to buttress and lead strong credence to a relationship and existing mutual collaboration between him and terrorists..."

Elumelu then asked that Pantami resigns or is sacked.

Ruling on the points raised by Elumelu, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Gbajabiamila said, "I think you came under the wrong order because you have not stated how your privilege has been breached. But your point of order is well noted. As you know, under privilege, we don’t debate such issues if it comes under privilege. Thank you."
