MMM Nigeria promised to unfreeze accounts of its participants by January, however, things might not be as we think.

According to an article written on one of Nigeria’s popular forums, here are seven reasons why MMM Nigeria may not be coming back after accounts were frozen till January.

1. There’s no central account. This implies that the so called Mavros are simply electronic money. Everyone waiting to get help had provided help which they paid directly to other people in the past. They themselves argue that there’s no central account. If there’s indeed no central account where is their matured mavro? In the cloud?

2. I believe the system calculated that the get help overwhelmed the provide help. This overload may have happened a month ago and the system had no option than to shut down.

3. Unless new entrants provide enormous help in January, there’s no way the get help group can recoup their money and that happening is very unlikely. The only way out is for the scheme to ask those whose monies are trapped to provide help again. That’s akin to what happened in South Africa and Zimbabwe and we well know where they are now.

5. It’s very likely that there’s a group who don’t provide help but get help multiple times. Who can check except the site admin who will always include his cronies when matching for payment comes up. Why will they do this? Because they know it’s gonna crash.

6. When Mavrodians started showing off their ‘wealth’ I knew the end was near. All that show off was to get new entrants but they miscalculated the number of gullible people in Nigeria. Once the limit of people who want to reap where they didn’t sow was reached, the scheme had to crash.
7. That letter to the government was the clincher. If mmm doesn’t return in January all the blame will go to the government and the media. That has always been the scape goat in every country that mmm failed.

I loathe everything gambling. Even breweries that give millions of free drinks during promos are simply getting rid of expired stock. Telecom companies will give you 1000 percent return on your recharge but will bill the hell out of you during calls. Nothing in the world is cheap or free.

Harrysong was signed to KCEE’s brother, E-Money’s Five Star Music label where he released his biggest song till date, Reggae Blues. Also known as a writer and singer, Mr Songs left the label unceremoniously and threw shot, that most people believe was directed at his former label mate, KCee.

He also revealed that he has been responsible for writing most of the songs produced in Five Star Music.

These accusations has made many blame Five Star Music for not treating Harrysong right, however recent findings has revealed the other side of the story, which blames Harrysong’s greed for the split.

According to Broadway Africa who spoke to one of the members of Five Star Music who wanted to remain anonymous, Harrysong breached his contract agreement and was making money on the side without the knowledge of the label.

According to the source, Five Star Music, had organised an European tour for Harrysong which he honoured but he organised and arranged other performances for himself outside the knowledge of Five Star Music.

The label got to know about what they view as an ‘act of betrayal’ but kept mute until it was time for Harrysong to shoot the video for his single, Bakana. The label simply asked him to pay for it himself since he made money off shows that weren’t recurred back to the company. This angered Harrysong and he decided to part ways with them.

Harrysong has since launched his own record label called Alter Plate and has insisted that he has no beef with his former record label.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) yesterday set up a high-powered committee to probe the death of Elechi Nwenenda, Oladepo Ifedolapo and Asuquo Ukeme who died at the ongoing Batch B (Stream 1) orientation camps in Bayelsa, Kano and Zamfara States.
Its Director General Brigadier General Sule Kazaure disclosed this in a statement he personally signed in Abuja.

The committee, according to him, will probe the remote and immediate causes of the deaths that have generated ripples in the nation.
He denied insinuations that the deaths were caused by negligence on the part of the medical teams at the camps.
Instead, he pointed out the corps members died from sicknesses that the medical team battled to no avail.

Kazaure said: “The policy of the scheme regarding healthcare during orientation course provides for the setting up of camp clinic manned by qualified doctors and other Corps health personnel.
“The clinics, which are also provided with drugs and other basic equipment, are detailed to render round-the-clock medical services on camp with standing arrangement to refer and ensure immediate movement of patients to more sophisticated health facilities when necessary.
“We want to inform the public that medical teams in our camps have always been guided by the procedures of practice and in the most professional ways possible.”

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state was said to have left the venue of a meeting he was having with lawmakers at the Government House arcade to inspect some some projects on Friday, December 2.

The governor, unlike many of his colleagues, did not visit the sites in his official convoy but was transported. He simply jumped on a commercial motorcycle to the places he needed to inspect.

The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has strongly kicked against the plans by President Muhammadu Buhari to seek‎ Senate’s approval of his $30 billion loan request.

The former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor said even if the Senate gave its ascent to the loan, no country or global financial institution would be willing to grant such huge amount.

Sanusi, during a policy dialogue forum organised by the Savannah Centre for Diplomacy, Democracy and Development (SCDDD), in Abuja disclosed that for a nation that has five exchange rates, it would be difficult for such request to scale through.

Sanusi emphasised that oil cannot help the nation out of the current economic situation and that it would “never make Nigeria ‎rich.”
His words: ‎”I can tell you for free, if the Senate today approves that we can borrow $30 billion, honestly, no one will lend us. It should be approved and I will like to see how you will go to the international market with an economy that has five exchange rates.

“There is one rate for petroleum marketers, there is inter-bank rate, there is another for money market operators such as western union, money gram, there is bureau de change rate and there is a special rate you get when you call the CBN for a transaction.

Speaking with Harrysong’s manager, Desmond he disclosed that while they were leaving the birthday party of the president of Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick which was held at Parkview estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, Soso followed him outside while he was trying to go drive the car and started assaulting him. He added that, Soso accused him of making Harrysong quit the record label but before he could say anything, Soso and his boys pounced on him and the other crew member. At that point, Harrysong who was waiting for Desmond to bring the car came towards the scene but it took the intervention of some comedians to stop Soso and his boys from assaulting Harrysong and his boys. Desmond also revealed that, ever since Harrysong left the label he has been receiving death threats from Soso.
The former label mate and CEO of Alter Plate music, Harrysong confirmed the reported adding that: “I do not know why Soso had to go to this extent but I am sure that it is just a personal beef between him and my manager. Kcee and E-Money would never send him to do such a thing but I am still shocked why Soso went that far.”

However, news also got to us that the Nigerian police has visited Soso Soberekon in his home on Friday, December 2, but he is already on the run but when he was on his phone he promised make himself available at the police station on Monday, December 5, as he is out of town.

The face behind the popular ponzi scheme MMM which has been written off as a scam in Nigeria, has been revealed.

According to reports from Pageone.ng, the face behind MMM Nigeria has been revealed to be one Ernest Chigozie Mbanefo, a South African-based pastor who was once with the Living Faith Church A.K.A Winners Chapel, in Nigeria.

This revelation stems from the fact that Pastor Mbanefo who is the founder/senior pastor of the Justified Youth & Singles Ministry, owns the MMM-Nigeria.net domain, which was registered on June 7, 2016, T17:01:12Z.

The ponzi scheme which reportedly has about 509, 021 members currently, was tracked to Mbanefo, after it was noticed that he made a one-year domain payment (meaning the domain will expire on 2017-06-07).
Mbanefo was issued a ‘certificate of completion’ from the MMM Academy (signed by the owner, Sergei Mavrodi), for completing his MMM Guiders School, on July 15, 2016.

Based on information from a site known as news.mmm-nigeria.net, Mbanefo has been hailed as the leader of the ponzi scheme, in Nigeria.
