Twelve People Get Killed In Indonesia Landslide,Twelve people, including two children, have been killed in a landslide on the popular Indonesian tourist island of Bali.

Controversy seems to be following the ongoing Big Brother Nigeria reality show as some South Africans are allegedly complaining that the show constitutes a nuisance to them.

According to Channel 24 a South African TV station, some residents and restaurant owners at Linden in Cape Town are said to be disturbed by the Big Brother Naija contestants living in 4th Avenue close, next to the production’s camera house.

Confirming the noise complaints, Ward Councillor,Nicole van Dyk said the complaints about Big Brother Naija so far are not as many as in the past.

“There have been complaints but the number has not been overwhelming. Big Brother definitely has made an effort to quiet down their studios and the house itself. In total I’ve received 4 complaints since it began,” he said.

In response to a media inquiry about the unfortunate noise complaint, M-Net says it is aware of the recent noise concerns raised and they have taken steps to reduce the noise levels.

Google first announced the concept of something called “Instant Apps” at their I/O conference last year. This is meant for situations where you may want to use an app for a single session without needing to install the full app from the Play Store.



For example when you click on a link from a Google search result from B&H Photo, Google Play will fetch a modular package that contains only section of the full application. This section would download and run instantly from the Google search results, and you’d be able to shop of B&H until the end of that session.

Google has been working closely with a select number of developers to refine the Instant Apps experience for both users and developers, alike. Google has announced today that the first few Instant Apps are ready for a “limited test”. The first batch of Instant Apps come from BuzzFeed, Wish, Periscope, and Viki.






If you’re a developer, your existing apps will need to be restructured by modularizing it to allow the needed portion to be downloaded through Google Play. While the Instant Apps SDK is not publicly available yet, developers can start taking certain steps to be ready to implement Instant Apps for new, existing, and potential users of your application.

China is known for its strict Internet censorship laws through the so called Great Firewall Of China – China's alleged Golden Shield project that uses different tricks to censor Internet and block access to various foreign websites in the country by its government.

The Great Firewall has blocked 171 out of the world's 1,000 top websites, including Google, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Dropbox, and The Pirate Bay. In order to bypass restrictions and access these sites, millions of Chinese citizens use virtual private networks (VPNs).

But now, the Chinese government has announced the mass shutdown of VPNs in the country, making it harder for internet users to bypass its Great Firewall, according to a by the South China Morning Post.



Calling it a "clean-up" of China's Internet connections, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said on Sunday that it had launched a 14-month-long crackdown on the use of unsupervised internet connections, including VPNs.


The new rules make it illegal to use or operate a local VPN service without government approval, and require all VPNs and leased cable lines operating in China have a license from the government.

According to the ministry, "all special cable and VPN services on the mainland needed to obtain prior government approval—a move making most VPN service providers in the country of 730 million Internet users illegal."

The ban on VPNs and cable connections would begin immediately and will remain in place until March 31, 2018.
