I will summarize cause trust me, I can't remember all the stories.

So when he first got denied, he came saying how all his parents went exile, his dad went somewhere and the mum went somewhere and his uncle is not recheable so he needs money for a second application, with other stories that make stories sweet so out of my kind/mumu heart I gave part of the amount I can afford. (This is the part I fell victim) he asked other people but two people I know didn't fall victim at least they told me they didn't.

Then after his visa, he started another story, how his parents can't foot his bill that he might defer to January admission and how he doesn't have flight money, I didn't fall a victim but a friend of mine nearly fell into the trap so I warned him against it.

Onyeoma3: Congrats on ur TRV and sorry for the delay in resumption.
@ d bolded : How many years TRV were you given?? If tis 2 years, you'll have a longer expiry date for entry into Canada and you don't have much to worry about but if tis a 1 year TRV, and you don't enter Maple land before it expires, you might run into difficulties(presenting fresh docx and all)...
My advice: if the former, then relax but if the latter, apply to another school (with the same duration of program) for a winter start date and come over immediately to commence ur studies by january.

My contribution towards your current situation is as simple only if you would comply to this advice,it has happened to a friend of mine who applied to UK. Since you have deferred your admission to the next fall and now you already have your trav Visa. Just inform your school about it that you have been granted a visa and you really need to begin the programme this fall and probably inform them you wanna pay your tuition to show more seriousness about it.i am very sure they would revise the decision to begin your programme this fall. Don't travel if the school has not responded to your request otherwise it might lead to deportation at the port of entry. Good luck bro!

standupguy: Bro what invoice did you send, because i am using a co sponsor who has a business and i felt really silly scanning copies of her hand written sales invoice.
I was going to scan copies of her bill of laden for importation but she uses another company name different from hers for importation.
I am kind of confused.
I have the CAC registration,Statement of Account i just wish a had something to explain the nature of her business if relevant.

warrikid: Congrats again bro. I'm sure ur program kicked off this fall (sept) already,did u already defer or what. Like @akannis case,his own programs next start date is fall of 2015. What is the way out of this kinda situation assuming he's gotten his TRV like u too. Its kinda tricky tho,wish you both the Best.

I have already deferred the program till next year fall as advised by the school.
what do i do now so as not to lose the TRV once i get it?
I have not applied to another school yet, though I'm thinking if to enter the school and get another program.

Holmes007: Thats kinda weird. They never sent any sms or email to me though but i paid for it when i applied. I just stormed their office a day after i received notification that my processed passport has been dispatched to VAC and in just 30secs upon arrival at their office i was on my way out with my package. Send vfs "info.cannig@vfshelpline.com" an email this morning, they respond on time just to know what is going on.

tofam3k3: In the same shoes too. I did medicals on 22nd August, Asaju sent on 28th and still no word from CIC. I mailed them yesterday they responded with "Be rest assured your application is been processed". Lectures don start since, registration deadline is 17th September. I'm sure we'll smile soon. #GodAin'tSleeping!

moanthony: Mine was online. I submitted july 15, got called for medical aug 20 and did it d nxt day 21st. Results were uploaded d following Wednesday 27th. And since then nothing else.
My friend dat applied through paper has gone to get his package though so I think you should go check for yours since you have confirmed that it has been dispatched to Lagos.

moanthony: Well I can only keep hoping. My main concern is the challenge I will face with settling down in a new environment while at the same time trying catch up on the number of classes I have and will miss.

moanthony: I beg this people (I am really tempted to call them very stupid) have still not taken a final decision on my application despite the fact that my medical review has long been updated (over 2 weeks ago) and I passed. The school I am to resume at ends registration today. The embassy isn't even replying my enquiry emails. A friend who we got called for and did medicals together (he even applied through paper and resumes in January) got his approved about 2 weeks ago while nothing for me that applied online. What do you think is the problem? The most annoying bit is just that they don't reply emails. Right now I don't even know what to do, whether to just give up or keep waiting.
