But most of these people you listed above are now in APC. Datsme: Mba I wont read ds SUMMARY pls
Meanwhile,
#PigDPMUSTGO!!! By May 29, 1999, we had 23 PDP governors, 6 AD, and 7 APP. Eight years after, this is their story: (A) PDP (23 governors) 1. James lbori - PDP Delta - in prison for looting 2. DSP Alamieseigha - PDP Bayelsa - Ex- convict for looting 3. Lucky Igbinedion - PDP Edo - Ex- convict for looting 4. Peter Odili - PDP Rivers - In court for looting 5. Chimaroke Nnamani - PDP Enugu - In court for looting 6. Ayo Fayose - PDP Ekiti - In court for looting 7. Rasheed Ladoja - PDP Oyo - In court for looting 8. Alao Akala - PDP Oyo - In court for looting 9. Gbenga Daniel - PDP Ogun - In court for looting 10. Ikenna Ohakim - PDP Imo - In court for looting 11. Adamu Muazu - Bauchi (current PDP National Chairman) - In court for looting over N19 Billion from the state treasury 12. Joshua Dariye - PDP Plateau - In court for looting 13. Jolly Nyame - PDP Taraba - In court for looting the state treasury 14. Abdulahi Adamu - PDP Nassarawa - In court for looting the state treasury 15. Boni Haruna - PDP Adamawa - (newly appointed minister by President Jonathan) - In court for looting the treasury 16. Saminu Turaki - Ex-gov. PDP Jigawa - In court for looting the treasury 17. Orji Uzor Kalu - PDP Abia - In court for looting the treasury (B). AD to AC, 6 govs NO Ex governor has ever been taken to court for treasury looting. NOTE:- Tinubu of Lagos was dragged to Code of Conduct Tribunal for having foreign accounts while in power against government policy of zero foreign account for public officials. He was found not guilty because he had the accounts before his election to the office of governor. Case dismissed. (C) APP - (ANPP) 7 governors 1. Attahiru Baffarawa - APP Sokoto - In court for looting (he is now in a PDP member) 2. Prince Abubakar Audu - ANPP Kogi - In court for looting. So APC made up of AD/ AC/ACN of the past is leading the pack. Does it not make perfect sense to allow these people to lead at the center? Culled from George Kaizer's wall. You may add the two ex-national chairmen of PDP, Ahmadu Ali and Bamanga Tukukur whose sons are facing multi-billion naira oil subsidy fraud charges. Let's protect our future today! Do not survive with PDP voting bribe of #500 for another 4years. Say no to bribe and vote for CHANGE.

Oga go open ur site na Chuukwudi: With all due respect Mods/Fellow nairalanders, Nairaland is a platform where great Nigerians from all over the country and beyond come to get useful information. Big business men, politicians, stake holders in different firms and corporations, civil servants, etc surf Nairaland for authentic news.
Seun, why and where did you recruit these new Mods that flod our front page with the most irrelevant topics?
It's saddening, before now, front page articles used to be very great and cool, But now, all we see is Rita Dominic and her tattoos and pics,
I would advise you to wait for already relevant topics to be properly developed first with comments in their respective sections, so that they will be more intellectually appetising before sending them to the front page.
Nairaland is not a place for kids or for youthful exuberance. Let's be serious. If not, you'll loose relevance.
I've spoken the truth from my mind. To ban me for this reason is the most uncivilised and unenlightened thing you can do. |

Politics › Re: Crashing Oil Prices; A Blessing In Disguise For Nigeria!!!! by klodike(m): 9:51am On Dec 20, 2014 |
SENSE!!! dein77: Millions of Nigerians are alarmed at the falling oil prices at the international oil market. For many, it's a sign of doom. But for me, and probably for a microscopic few, it's a blessing in disguise.
Our leaders have wasted decades of oil fortunes that would have been massively invested in infrastructures and other sectors of the economy, and now they are falling the accompanying consequences. Isaac Newton's Third Law of Motion comes to mind. It was only a matter of time before Nigeria paid for its profligacy and waste. We hardly learn, as a nation!
We have refused to think beyond oil; our mental faculties took a deadly sabbatical from the moment the blackgold was discovered in commercial quantities. Now, external forces are controlling our destiny as a people.
The falling oil prices will definitely FORCE our leaders to be more proactive in diversifying our economy. Diversifying our economy will definitely give us more options of survival. It's an economic suicide for an entire nation to depend entirely on a commodity so volatile in the International market. If ever we needed to diversify our economy , it's NOW.
The crashing oil prices will also, to a long extent, curb official corruption and impunity. Let's see if the government will seat idly and watch some few eggheads embezzle it's limited resources. A commodity that once sold at over $100 per barrel now goes for a little above $55! Infact the amount of money left to be embezzled is largely reduced.
The crashing oil prices may also force our thieves to pay more attention to our local refineries, as this may yield more profits than just selling the raw crude directly to the international at very low prices.
In every disappointment, there's some blessings. Let's take advantage of this slump and take more proactive steps. As an individual, I've taken some steps to curb financial recklessness as 2015 approaches.
He who fails to plan, has planned to fail.
Happy Xmas in advance, and a prosperous New Year to all Nairalanders. |
Career › Re: 10 Types Of Occupations That Make The Most Money This Season. by klodike(m): 9:58pm On Dec 19, 2014 |
CONDOM SELLERS Jennimma: This write up is based on my observations during Christmas periods.
1.HAIR DRESSERS: Looking good is a sacrifice. This particularly goes out to my fellow women who want to look exceptionally beautiful. Majority of hair saloons are jam-packed with women either fixing weavons or braiding their hair. You often hear ladies asking among themselves "Have you made your christmas hair?" "What hair would you make for christmas? Ladies I lie?"
2.TAILORS: Tailors/seamstresses are often patronised this season. Most times if you don't book at an earlier date with the tailor, your cloth may not be made. And sometimes due to the pressure tailors have, they may not meet up with the deadline thereby disappointing their customers.
3.DRIVERS/TRANSPORT COMPANIES: Bus tickets, airplane tickets,reservations...etc are the words you keep hearing during this season because most people travel home to see their loved ones, family and relations.
4.FOOD SELLERS: Food sellers are not left out either. People buy food items like chicken, turkey, rice, cooking oil, coleslaw items, cooking condiments, drinks to celebrate the season.
5.CLOTH TRADERS: Before now, I thought kids were the only ones that crave for christmas clothes, but I was wrong. Adults too buy christmas clothes during this season cos everyone wants to look good and admirable. So, if you've not bought your "christmas cloth" yet,do so today.
6.POULTRY FARMERS: Due to the high demand for fowls, turkeys even ducks, poultry farmers are seriously patronised. Even before december most women have booked their chickens with the farmer. Na true talk, abi?
7.TOURIST CENTRES: This season is the time to relax, hang out with friends, enjoy the enviroment and appreciate nature. Most people visit musuems, zoo, game reserves, beaches etc.
8.MUSICIANS:Without music, the whole place would be dull. More reason why most musicians launch their albums during this period. You'd realise that their songs would reign/played frequently this season. Eg: P-square. Well i know their Game Over(2007) and Danger(2009) albums reigned during the yuletide season then.
9.GADGET SELLERS: Welcome to Naija were everyone wants to feel cool, flashy and classy. Getting the latest android phones,i-pad,blackberry etc is the in thing now, more reason gadget sellers slash down the prices of their goods so people can easily purchase them. Well,i've observed that most times, people buy these items to flaunt it when they travel to their villages...lolz. Na lie? Hehehehehe

If there is anything i dislike about Nigerians, is the way we are fast in accepting and spreading lies about issues. This rumor has been circulating for a while, that the lanky general wedded one of his daughters to an Anambra man. But then, it came as no surprise for me to realise that this was just another lie by some foolish Nigerians to give cheap political points. How many of this lies would be unearth before 2015?? You are evulz bro Prixus: I once had a date like that. but before d date I told her jokingly that we weren't going to my place. just an eatery so that she won't need friends to protect her from rape or any sort of thing like that(thats d usual excuse they give when they bring friends. "I can't come to ur place alone" . of course she still came with two of her friends. when we were all seated I asked her in front of her friends whether she brought them with the usual mentality of "let us go and eat". of course she replied "no o". I then took her to another table with the excuse that we had to chat in private. I sent them two bottles of coke n 2 meatpies n got her exactly what I had planned earlier. I'm sure her friends would hv bn disappointed cos I made sure she ate well while they ate hungrily. I greeted them properly when I was dropping them off. their last goodbye really said it all... |
