Travel › Amazing Nigeria Travel Destinations (i.) by kmaster007(op): 7:28am On Mar 19, 2019
Traveling is a good adventure and virtually everyone enjoys it. If you are love travelling to meet with new people, see new things, and be able to tell stories about where you have been, sit tight for the important destinations you ought to know and, in fact, should visit.

You may consider doing this alone, with family, or your friends. Below are some of the amazing destinations in Nigeria.

1. Obudu Mountain Resort

It is located in Cross River. It is one of the amazing places to be because of its serene environment. It boasts of its calm temperature, cable car, and canopy walkways. All of these attract families, couples, and friends.

2. Ikoogosi Warm Spring Resort

This is another amazing place to be in Nigeria instead of
visiting other countries for what they have. Nigeria is endowed with so many wonderful places to be. As the name, spring implies. Ikoogosi warm Spring Resort is the natural combination of cool and warm water which helps you feel appreciation for nature. It is located in Ekiti State.

3. La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort

If you love beach life and you reside in Lagos, this is just a breathtaking place to be. Another thing that makes this beach an interesting place to be is that it is one of those places where you can get to a well- equipped fitness center. It is located in Ibeju-Lekki.

4. Obudu Cattle Ranch

This list wouldn’t be complete if we fail to include the Obudu Cattle Ranch. The Obudu Cattle Ranch is located in Calabar and is full of things you haven’t seen before. There in the ranch, you get cable cars that show you some fascinating views of the place.

There are other amazing places to be, though; and I will
share them with you in the next installment. Consequently, stay tuned as you discover other amazing places to be with your family and loved ones.
Romance › 8 Big Mistakes Single Women Make About Relationships (!) by kmaster007(op): 7:10am On Mar 19, 2019
There comes a time when most women feel like they are
missing out because they are single. At that time, they get desperate and make a number of mistakes that leave them worse than they were before.

If you are single and want to ensure that you don’t make the same mistakes many others have made then this article is for you. What are the common but huge mistakes most single women make?

1. Jumping in and out of relationships

We get it. You want to be in a relationship but if you change men fast, when will you get the chance to know those who are serious? Dating too many men like that tires you out and keeps other men from taking you seriously. Be deliberate about your relationships.

2. Going on and on about your ‘singlehood’

There is no need to throw a pity-party for yourself. No one wants to be around who bemoans her single status all the time. There is more to life than being in a relationship, you know? What else are you doing with your life?

3. Giving yourself a deadline

You can’t manufacture a man to date you so you can’t decide to get hitched within one year. Forget what you have seen in the movies — that hardly happens in real life because you don’t know what tomorrow holds. Setting a deadline only gives you hypertension.

4. Getting too personal

It is a huge turn-off when a lady begins over-sharing on the first few dates. No one wants to hear the disgusting titbits or the ugly things you did in the past just yet. Take it slowly and don’t ask personal questions either.

I know these are tough pills to swallow but the truth has never been known to be sweet.

Nairaland General › Why You Should Keep A Journal by kmaster007(op): 8:11am On Mar 18, 2019
I am a writer and beyond it being my source of income, it
has aided my growth in more ways than I can count. It has helped me network because I get to be part of awesome creative communities with people who are slaying in various careers. But let me stop here because we are not talking about me. Why should you keep a journal?

1. It gives clarity

Usually, when things are jumbled up in my head, I write it out so I can find a semblance of clarity as I weigh the pros and cons of something. You don’t always have to go running to someone else for a second opinion. It also helps you see things from other perspectives.

2. It heightens your awareness

The fact that you write drives you to be more aware of things around you. You tend to be more attentive to your environment and people around you because when you settle in later in the day to chronicle how your day went, you may want to give details. Before long, you will gain insights into how things work or what people around you think.

3. It gives you a medium for expression

There are things you have thought of but may not have ever had the guts to say out. In your journal, you are free to express yourself as you wish without being censored Whatever pent up energy you have can be freely vented out.

4. It ensures accountability

You should not only be accountable to others but yourself as well. Writing helps you keep track of your decisions, like what you spend on.

5. It eases stress

Writing is one of the ways you declutter your mind. When you have too many things struggling for your attention and you pour it out on paper, it gives some form of order and focus. In this way, the burden of stress is eased off you. We will be taking the benefits in bits so stick around for the other posts.

6. It helps you track your progress

If you have been journaling for a while, go back to your earlier write-ups and you will see how far you have come. You are able to express yourself better, your thoughts are more refined and you have ditched some notions. Journaling helps you track your growth.

7. It organizes your life

I love to write to-do lists (and yes, that is a form of writing too). They help me plan my day and give a sense of accomplishment when I have been able to tick everything off.

8. It aids self-discovery

If you are completely honest in your journal, you will find it to be a wonderful place to be and you become more aware of your strengths and flaws. Your journal is a mirror of who you are and if you read through it often, you will be confronted by it and with time, you can work through your struggles.

9. It preserves your ideas

Your journal can be where you write each bright idea— both refined and unrefined. You could always retrieve it whenever you wish.

10. It can be a resource material

If you are a public speaker, it can be a perfect reference
material. Even if you are not, you would be shocked at the wealth of knowledge you can extract from it to combat life issues or help someone else.

Romance › 6 Terrible Questions You Should Never Ask On A First Date. by kmaster007(op): 8:44pm On Mar 17, 2019
One of the things many people dread about first dates is that there will be silence so they do their best to fill it up. In the end, their desperate attempts do more harm than good.

More so, there are certain things that you assume are okay but may be generally unacceptable. Read on to avoid falling into any of these pitfalls.

1.) How much do you earn?

Even if you are asking for purely learning purposes, this is a line you should absolutely not cross. It is rude and will make him uncomfortable.

2.) When we get married...

Do NOT say anything that alludes to you two getting married. You are practically strangers to each other. It doesn't matter if you have been around each other for a while.

3.) Can I come with a friend?

You have not begun the date yet but you have messed it up. I don't even get why girls do this in Nigeria. It makes no sense. If you don't feel safe with him then you should simply refuse to go on a date or meet in a public place.

4.) Anything related to sex..

Even if you are very open-minded about sex, he may not be. Don't say anything on the subject as that would be too forward.

5.) Do you like me?

Yes, you want to know if there is a future but asking this outrightly makes you look desperate. Besides, it is not a
test where you get scores.

6.) Can I borrow some money?

According to the Nigerian parlance, this one off me, I have heard stories like this so I know it happens. Girl, have some dignity!

With this crash course, I believe you will not commit any
first date faux pas.
