Today, you can hardly keep a conversation without peeking at your smartphone or scrolling through your newsfeed on Facebook or Instagram just so we’re on to the latest gist. The number of mobile phone users is on the increase and so is our attachment with these mobile devices — we make use of them in public, in bed, even in the shower and toilets! What you need to catch up on this minute as you’re scrolling through this page are dangerous places you shouldn’t keep your phone for your own safety. i) Pockets Due to the EMF’s your phone is constantly emitting, your front or back pocket shouldn’t house your cell phone while you are on the go. The Electromagnetic radiation of a phone is bad news for men’s fertility and could also spell other unknown health risks. Besides, you could also break or lose your phone in the process. ii) Bra Before you nestle that little innocent cellphone in your ample bosom, know that cellphone radiation could increase chances of getting breast cancer. iii) Under your pillow Know that cellphone addiction we’re all onto? Yeah, that’s the propelling force behind keeping mobile devices within arm’s reach or worse under the pillow at night while sleeping. Not only can the neon glow on the screen disrupt sleep, but the EMF’s involved could also cause headaches and dizziness. And in extreme cases keeping phones under the pillow could trigger phone explosions. |
When P Square separated as a group into individual units, we had our fears the famous duo who churned out hits back to back and made us proud worldwide with their music have finally fallen apart. How will they survive now as independent artistes? Some of us even lost interest in them again especially as they continued to engage in social media battles after their split. But few years after that infamous split, things are looking up for these two independent artistes. Now as established acts, they are steadily building their fan base from the scratch and engaging them with new music. However doesn’t it seem as if one party is gaining popularity over one already? Doesn’t it look as if Rudeboy has gotten it correct with his sound and is progressing forward with his music? After listening to Nkenji Keke , one would be attracted to the Pon Pon pattern Rudeboy has harnessed to his advantage and now with “Reason With Me“, it’s looking like he’s miles ahead of Mr P right now It seems Rudeboy has a headstart over Mr P already. Mr P isn’t doing bad however, his recent single with Niniola tittled “One More Night” is also one of the most played songs on radio. But there’s something special with Rudeboy’s "Reason With Me". An addictive tune people can’t just stop playing. It’s like a fever, you catch it, and you’re down with it for days. Within four days, Reason With Me has garnered 1.1Million views in 4 days. And it got us asking Does This Prove Rudeboy Is More Talented Than Mr P? Let’s have your say on this Drop your comments… |
Nigerian artists no longer value the power of good lyrics they all want to sing the rubbish and make money. Gone are those days when musicians values lyrics, when you listen to Fela,2face.Barrister,Ebenezer obey and so on. Compare to the likes of Slimcase,Zlatan,Small Doctor, ViC O and so on, but they are making money and it all that matters to them. One popular artist once said in one of his music lyrics that; Ma ko le, Ma ra ile! (I will build a house then buy land), Do we have to remind him that you have to buy the land first before you build a house? we have a bunch of these artists who sing rubbish but nevertheless, we still have few of them who still make sense with their lyrics. So guys! Name One Naija artists Who Always Make Sense With His/Her Lyrics. Drop your comment below; |

Death would have been announced of Small Doctor if the Nigerian Army had not stepped in to save him from being beaten to death after a certain man accused him of taking his manhood. Narrating the incident, Small Doctor said: “I’ve learned a lesson from giving and I will now be more careful. There is nothing that can stop me from helping people around me. I was just amazed and saddened by how devilish some people can get. But I knew I would not be harmed for doing good. All the culprits are in police custody and the law will take its course. This could have been anyone.” The singer’s manager: Dele Abijo, also said: “On that night, he decided to do the same thing, but unlike in the past, he didn’t go with any security operatives. He felt people would be freer with him without bodyguards around. When the soldiers questioned the man, he said his manhood only became small, not missing. Later he said it had been restored.” Addressing those who say it’s a publicity stunt, Dele Abijo further said: “Small Doctor is fine now. You don’t use something like that as a publicity stunt. He was almost lynched! He is not an artiste who enjoys publicity stunts.” |

We thank God for D'banj who sang that love is a beautiful thing. It truly is but when that love is not reciprocated, it can be very hurtful. Once upon a time, you two were so in love but suddenly, the attraction grew cold on his part. And then one day, he said it was over. However, you feel like the relationship still has a future. You are very much still in love. But you cannot force him to stay in a relationship. You have to get over it; but how? 1.) Love yourself I know that it sounds like a cliché but it holds so much truth that people throw the phrase around. You have to love yourself enough to decide that you can't afford to settle for less, and definitely not a man that doesn't love you. 2.) Invest in yourself I am not saying that should become driven just to spite him. However, being single gives you room for self-discovery. Dedicate your time to accomplishing your life goals and pursuing a passion. Get in touch with your spirituality. 3.) Give vent to your emotions You are human and the person you love just walked out of your life. You are allowed to be hurt, angry and sad. Express what you feel but ensure that this does not dominate your life. Don't become weepy. 4.) Stay away from reminders Wherever you used to go together or things you used to do should become 'no-go areas'. You don't need the reminders 5.) Remind yourself that there are others You don't feel like being in a relationship with anyone else right now but constantly remind yourself that there are other guys out there who are just as wonderful. Don't close your heart to love altogether. It may not feel like it today but you will be fine. |
