go to MTN office or someone that works there, they will tell you his actual location and other people he has called with that phone number, his device IMEL number and every other sim number he has used on that phone will show, they will listen to his calls and know the closest person to him, that is the person they would arrest and the person will lead you to him either by calling him to come or wish ever way, at least its very easy with technology though the amount involve is small but I will still advice you to try, he may not even be smart , you can as well do open web search on his details, its easy to catch him, but you will spend time , report him to efcc and SARS and contact his network provider, beg one of the staff to help you though it require police note signed by CP or ACP but you may be lucky they help you for free , the web master should be able to help. goodluck

Yes, he should take these steps. The police can get the thief, but he will have to spend money. He should try and go to the receiving bank to lodge a complain first and take it from there. He would be advised on what to do.

The best thing is to report them. They know what they are doing. Otherwise, why would anyone post something for sale and not put price. Even at Malls and ordinary Chemist, there's always a price tag for anything being sold.

That said, please those of you with good stuff who know that your items cannot be classified as “clearance” even though they aren’t brand new, open your own thread and advertise your stuff. To keep your thread going, ensure you go there everyday and write “still available”. That way, the thread remains active. Don’t be bullied into selling your items are dirt cheap prices because some people have no idea of its worth. You guys have chased away people who have good stuff and are relocating. Stop your bullying tactics. The fact that you cannot afford these items doesn’t mean all are over-priced. Of course they’re some rogue-sellers but most genuinely want to sell off their stuff at good rates.
By the way, I have a large bathroom mirror and ceiling fan to give away for free. Pls, I’ll only give them to those that truly cannot afford it.

Nobody is pulling anybody down. We have had some people post and repost for over a month even when it's obvious that nobody is interested in their inflated properties. It's better the thread stays slim than for the thread to be overrun by these people. Just watch and see, new people will come and post and some will even do giveaways.

Madam, we are not trying to stop people from selling or trying to fix prices for them, we are only trying to bring sanity to the thread. No need for insults ma, if you had bought something of less quality from this thread for an amount more than UK used, you will understand why we are standing against inflated prices. If you will try to observe, you will notice that most of the items sold as used here are more expensive than UK used. We are only trying to let the sellers realize that some of what they are selling are being sold for less (UK used and sometimes brand new), so they should be considerate at least.
We saw some sellers come here to tell other sellers to allow them sell for them. Please be the judge, is that good? And on a clearance thread. Meaning those sellers want to make profit on what is not even theirs. Someone stated that he begged a seller for a wardrobe for 10k and she agreed to dash him for that amount (note that initial price stated was 30k), only for the seller to call that she is no more selling because she needs the wardrobe. After some days, the wardrobe appears again, this time someone else is selling at 60k. And then you all want us to just bargain and maybe settle for 45k for what the owner does not even want anymore. Then the business man gives the owner 20k and makes cool 25 for doing nothing while we are watching o, and the member who needed the same wardrobe stays disappointed. Please understand what we are fighting against.
We are not saying people should not sell what they want to sell, but before they sell, they should find out how much at least a TOKUNBO is being sold at, then they should compare with theirs and the condition their property is before they post prices. We have people selling their used properties for more than the price of brand new of the same.
Okay, now we still have some people selling stuff, yea? The others that have stopped posting, Why did they stop posting? Why don't they just review their prices and repost. Those are the greedy people we are talking about.
There was a time on this same thread, someone posted one AC for 70k and someone else is posting the same AC for 80k, if we don't speak out how will such stop?
And for those of us who are still advertising our markets, it's okay to do that because everyone can post, but at least be considerate. Give us a reason to patronize you as we are on a Clearance thread. You cannot market stuffs that's the same price everywhere and expect we will rush to buy. Some of them come and post TVs, shoes, clothes and other things for more than how they are sold at the open market or online market and call it giveaway, on a clearance thread o.
Before you ask if I can afford anything before calling out the sellers, please note that I have bought some stuffs here. I appreciate some of them and there are others that I regret buying and I had to give out some of them. I have learnt my lessons the hard way but I will never complain. Not everyone will complain and call out names, but I will only do my best to save other people from falling into the same pit.
If anyone is Genuine, I see no reason why they will have any problems with our complains.

Let the thread be boring ma, it's better it's boring than having over inflated prices here. God knows how many people have come to check out the thread and left because of the inflated prices. Some people might come with a property to give at a cheap price and see the same thing in worse condition being sold for more. Do you expect them to sell their's for less? We have seen some sellers asking other sellers to let them sell their properties for them, is that not greed?
And just so you know, we have been ignoring for a long time, but it's time we start speaking out. I have never insulted anyone here but I have been called Ignorant and others will still abuse me, but e no matter because sanity must be brought back to the thread.

If anyone want's to buy something and you don't find it here, ask how much you can get it and where you can get it cheap and I believe so many of us will be more than happy to refer you to someone or somewhere you can get it cheap. It's annoying to see people come here and post scraps for same price as new.
