The analysis is suppose to convey the entire meaning of a poem. Did you read the one I wrote for mimzy? Its just five lines (a quintet) but it says much when I analyzed it.

For the parent's personal satisfaction it may be relevant.

On a side note. My mother had two of us. My brother and I. I was a typical teenage girl, mood swings and all. But everybody in my family knows I did not give my parents even 1/4 the trouble and worries my brother gave them. The only reason he is a decent human being today is because he had/has a STRONG MOTHER. Raising either genders could require you to worry a lot and be strong.

you are right, teenage boys tend to have more issues than girls, that's the stage they learn smoking, drinking and womanizing.
