Angry mob beheaded and set five suspected armed robbers ablaze on Saturday in Akwa Ikot Effanga community, Akwabuyo Local Government Area of Cross River State.

It was gathered that a 7-man gang allegedly broke into a shop at about 3am on Saturday, October 17, and made away with electronic gadgets worth thousands of naira and undisclosed amount of money.

The youths of the community laid ambush for the suspects. In the process, five of them were apprehended then while two managed to escape leaving the rest to face jungle justice.


A very disturbing and gory video and photo from the scene shows the remains of the suspected robbers and a motorcycle in flames. The head of one of the suspects was missing from his neck.

Meanwhile, one of the youths condemned the act, describing it as inhumane and barbaric while calling on the Nigerian police to immediately arrest the perpetrators.

A mum has been accused of stripping her 12-year-old son and raping him on their bed before warning him not to tell anyone.
Brittany Rouleau, 34, has been charged with aggravated sexual assault after her 12 year old son forcefully

The guardian alleged Roleau told the boy to strip naked as he sat on the bed they shared after he got out of the shower at their Witchita Falls home.

He then claims she asked the boy about masturbation as she was getting undressed before ordering him to take his clothes off and then raped him.

A 49-year-old city s3x worker has decided to retire from the trade. Sarah Mutero pulled the curtain to a trade she thrived in for many years.
After calling it quits, Mutero received a parcel of land worth Sh120,000 in Makuyu, Murang’a County. Some well-wishers have also promised to pool funds to build her a house after she ditched the trade.

Zimbabwean Prophetess accused of sexually assaulting a female congregant has been sentenced to 11 years in prison after being found guilty of the charges levelled against her.

The founder of Pray Deliverance and Testimony Ministries International who appeared before Gweru Regional magistrate Mrs. Pathekhile Msipa facing two counts of indecent assault and one count of aggravated indecent assault, had earlier pleaded not guilty to the charges.

She was however convicted of the three charges following a full trial which proved that she molested a 32-year-old member of her congregation. Ruling on the case, Mrs. Msipa said;
“The accused was the pastor of the complainant who placed her trust and faith in her and her prophecies.

Instead of looking after her, she turned into her abuser and courts should give long custodial sentences to deter would-be offenders."

A Catholic priest identified as Rev. Travis Clark has been arrested for desecrating the altar of Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church in Pearl River, Louisiana.

The priest was arrested for allegedly filming himself having sex with two dominatrices on the altar at his Catholic church. The dominatrices were identified as adult film actress Mindy Dixon, 41, and 23-year-old Melissa Cheng.

They were nabbed after a passerby saw the lights on later than usual on September 30. The unidentified witness saw the half-naked priest having sex with the two women who were dressed in corsets and high-heeled boots. The altar was also adorned with stage lighting, several intimacy gadgets, and a cellphone mounted on a tripod that was recording the act.

Daniel Johnson, a 400-level student of the Tai-Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ogun State, is currently on the run after allegedly stabbing his girlfriend, Bukky, to death.

A piece of sad news reaching us at yawabase.com indicates that an 11-year-old girl has been gang-raped to death in Lagos, Nigeria.

According to the details gathered by yawabase.com, the deceased, Favour Okechukwu, She was reportedly sent on an errand around 3 pm by her mother when the sad incident happened.

She was said to have been lured into a building on Olarewaju street, where four men gang-raped her. She was suspected to have been gaged in the process, apparently to avoid raising that alarm.

Favour’s corpse was found in a building on Olarewaju street, not too far from her parents, close to two hours into the search.

On closer observation, she was discovered to be naked, with her body stained with blood.

” I saw a man who lives on the same street with me and told him I was looking for my daughter. He informed that he had to close early because a little girl was raped to death in a building close to his shop.

” I decided to go and check since I was looking for my daughter and he accompanied me to the building. Behold, when I got there, it was my daughter, Favour! She laid motionless. I shouted, shook her vigorously as I called out her name, begging her to wake up. But she didn’t respond. I was too shocked to believe she was gone just like that. A child I left hale and hearty while leaving the house in the morning, was gone when I returned”, he said in tears.

He, therefore, appealed to anyone with information on the fleeing assailants to avail such to the police, in order for her to get justice.

An unpublished story, which hit the headlines, making a girl infamous in Nigeria. The minor, Masenengen, who lost her father right after birth, was abandoned at the North Bank Area General Hospital in Makurdi on a Sunday evening. Her mother was reportedly married to another man in a remote village. Since then, the girl had survived the mercy of the streets.

The young mother’s condition in the hospital drew sympathizers, even as she cried uncontrollably after having labor spasms for three days before being taken to the hospital.

As the case caused a stir with the number of curious people skyrocketing, a benevolent individual by the name of Ukan Kurugh, popular for his humanitarian work, took action that yielded positive results.

Ukan Kurugh confided that shortly after hearing the story, he rushed to the hospital. In agreement with the staff and relatives who had come to assist the girl. He requested that she be transferred to a hospital established by the Konshisha Street Foundation.

“At 1:00 am, she was moved from the general hospital to that of the Foundation, and in less than an hour, she gave birth to a little girl weighing 2.5 kg by cesarean section,” according to the hospital source.

At 10 years old, Masenengen enters the history of motherhood in Nigeria. She is now the youngest mother in Africa’s most populous country, with around 214,028,302 inhabitants.

She was molested and become pregnant while in the camp. The identity of the man who impregnated the child is still not known, but it has been established that Masenengen was repeatedly molested before she was taken in.

Even if her life has not been a long quiet river, Masenengen seems to give meaning to her existence since this sad story. She now leads a peaceful life with her family, hoping for a better future.

A Nigerian man identified as Joshua Ayodele Fasipe has been declared missing in Canada.
Latoye Sade, a Canada-based Nigerian Twitter user, who confirmed this on Saturday September 25, said that Mr Fasipe, a graduate of Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, has been missing since Wednesday, September 23.

She pleaded with anyone with useful information to contact Carleton University Nigerian Students Association, CUNSA.

A 31-year- old man Chijioke Chukwulota has been arrested for allegedly selling a set of twins to a suspected child trafficker, one Tina Ibeato.

The suspect, a native of Imo but resident in Nnewi, Anambra, was said to have impregnated his ex-girlfriend who put to bed a set twin baby girls which he allegedly sold.

The Nation gathered the suspect sold the twins for N150,000.

Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed, confirmed the incident, saying the seller and buyer have been arrested.

He said the twins have also been recovered in good condition while investigation had commenced

He said: “On the 21/9/2020 at about 6:pm, following credible intelligence, police operatives attached to the Command Special Anti-cult unit (SPACS) arrested one Chijioke Chukwulota ‘m’ aged 31years of Imo State but resides at Uruagu village, Nnewi.

A young boy said to be a JSS 3 student sustained life threatening injuries after he was allegedly knocked down by some disbanded members of Rivers Task force while trying to wrest control of the streering wheel following an argument with a cab driver in Rivers State.


It was gathered that the incident happened on Wednesday afternoon, September 9, at Ozuoba in Obi/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.

The boy was rushed to the nearest hospital while an angry mob succeeded in arresting one of the fake task force members and handed him over to Ozuoba Police Station.
Narrating how the incident happened, the victim’s teacher, Goldy Ude, said that the boy was returning from a WAEC French exam when the vehicle knocked him down. He lost most of his teeth while his face was mutilated.

Ude wrote;

“The above pictures shows details of a very disheartening story of task force boys who though disbanded by the government still do their illegal job,”

“This afternoon one of my students, a JSS 3 boy who was returning from a French exam was knocked down by a Siena bus whose steering was seized by the hooligans. The vehicle totally left the main road and lifted the poor boy from the pedestrian walkway. one of them was caught and handed over to the police in Ozuoba,”

Eight people were burnt to death in an accident on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

The lone accident involving a Mazda bus marked AAA 249 VX occurred on Saturday night, September 19, at about 8:45 p.m. near Saapade bridge.
The accident was as a result of a burst tyre that caused the bus to somersault and burst into flames.

11 people were involved in the accident. They are three male adults, one female adult, one child and six unidentified persons.
