Can your school send your transcript to UNN, (you need to know if UNN do ask for transcripts) more so, can your certificate be ready before the screening date? If yes then admission is possible on paper. But if no, please go and learn something in the space of at least 8 months for next admission process or write JAMB before it is too late this year.

Owing to the situation of education in Nigeria. Can we say it's okay for programmers (those who at least know the in and out, or those that have some educational background e.g OND cert.) apply to NOUN to get their BSc certificates and be using the other free time to develop, read and learn more than what are being taught in a normal conventional school?

Are things this bad? Haba don't discourage people coming up.

If TBC is this cheap, someone should just please give me 1TBC ma test. Lot of different prices. I need motivation.

JAMB REGULARISATION

Still on Jamb Regularisation. I am posting this so that all ND students and other concerned people will be aware of the process on time. There are more to it than paying, your school too will be involved.

Read the instructions from JAMB.

INSTRUCTION:LATE APPLICATION

1. You shall be required to create a profile via the Sign Up (New User) Page if you are a new user. For existing users, simply type in your login details. To create your profile, you will provide your valid email address, surname, first name, Mobile No, State and LGA of Origin and password, then click on the Sign Up button. Each candidate is entitled to only one profile.

2. Subsequently, you shall use your email address and password to sign in.

3. Once logged in, you will be taken to the landing page where you will see all available services.

4. Select “Late (Retroactive) Application”. This is available on the side bar

5. Once selected, the menu item “Late Application” will be revealed. Click this.

6. Once you select this service, a Transaction ID is generated for this service. This will be displayed on the confirmation page screen.

7. Review the details displayed on the Confirmation Page. Also, note the Transaction ID displayed in a bold red font. The Transaction ID is useful for all future references concerning the Transaction. A copy of this transaction ID will be sent to your registered email address.

8. Click on the Continue button if you wish to pay with your card immediately. If you wish to use other payment channels like ATM, Cash at the Bank or Quickteller, please note the transaction ID as it will be required.

9. On the Interswitch Payment page, enter your card details and click on the Pay button.

10. The status of your payment will be displayed on the “My Payment Section” An SMS and email containing your unique Transaction Identification and payment status will be sent to you after payment. Click on the Continue button.

11. Once payment is completed, you will be asked to provide the following:
a. Year of Exam and
b. JAMB Registration Number

12. After entering the information correctly, the application form will be displayed. You are to fill the application form online. Please take note of mandatory fields.

13. Click Submit to complete your application

14. After submission, an Indemnity Form will be displayed for printing.

15. This is to be filled and taken to your institution for Approval.

16. Your institution will be responsible for submission of the approved form to the JAMB state office.

17. Once received, the Approved form will be uploaded to your profile. You will receive a notification when this is done.

18. JAMB will now process your application. If Approved, your details will be changed as requested.

Jamb Regularisation

Hello House, about Jamb Regularisation, Jamb has taken over the matter due to the change in leadership. I went to Jamb office this week and was told to have 10k in my bank account with my working Master Card, plus 1.5k for processing fee. I had registered in jamb new interfaced website and I also saw the same thing it was called Late Registration formerly known as Regularisation, but am not sure if one can do it by him or her self.

Larry said futa has stopped writing post de exam due to JAMB new policy but FUTMINNA conducted post de exam last year and I think it was quantitative and verbal.

A friend wrote last year and he said the materials he used in preparing was the same thing he saw in the exam hall. He said like they just lift the questions from the material.

I don't know how they mis-dial people's number (there should be more to that), but I've received couples of calls from these kind of people. I remembered, sometimes ago, on one particular number, I did everything legally to get a recharge card to call the number after seeing the missed call, just to be amuse by a Hausa voice. Ignoring the call will do.

I understand jaaree....I am only looking at the time frame ......if you can also get a sealed hard copy....go for it....and take it down to the school....yourself .....cos...admission will soon be in progress......and for D.E students....that's your number 1 stuff....before you can be considered for anything .....moreover ...the session is almost ending....since exam starts on Monday

I do not think the rector has any hand in it....this is a thing you can meet up with your dept examination officer....explain your plight.....so....they can quickly process your result for you......then...move to the school examination board...since they are the one in charge....na you know wetin dey pursue you now.....

It's not us, bro, the school system is already spoiled. Imagine a case whereby the Rector traveled during the fasting for religion activities?
And more so no processing can be done except you finish the school. Right now I as write this, I am praying to God, that my cert and transcript be ready next week, so I can have a copy incase of any story. It's the school system not us. Thanks for you understanding.

The proposed screening format by FUTA is this (sorry am unable to post the document here)

A1 - 6
B2 - 5
B3 -4
C4 - 3
C5 -2
C6 -1

(add all your o levels / 30) * 100 = x
your utme score / 4 = y

(x + y) / 2 that's it

Please note that it has not yet be approved, saw the letter yesterday. those in the futa group would have gotten this info.
