now unto the topic of the day, my own opinion is that arsenal indeed prioritizes the defence over the attack but the signing of Gabriel and partey was not the main issue because those two players are top qualities players that can change the team around. The main issue was the signing of mari and soares during the January transfer window.

arsenal spent more than £20 million on mari and soares, and uptill now the both of them have not made upto 3 starts in the EPL. now imagine if we didnt bring those guys to the club, I'm sure that £20 million would have been added into that auoar deal that fell through.



modified : this is why I'm not going to join the areta out bandwagon because mari and soares are edu signings and if you add willian into the mix, you will realise that we have apent over £30 million on players that are not needed in the squad. arteta clearly wanted a CB, DM and AMF, he got the first two but couldn't get the last one because of low funds but if we didnt sign mari, soares and willian, I'm sure he would have gotten the AMF he wanted.

Arteta is just complicating things for himself and having few favors from fans.

to be honest this is the best arsenal side i have seen in recent games, the only fůck up was the inclusion of willian and nkeitah.

if martinelli or nelson started in place of willian and lacazette or balogun started in place of nkeitah, we could have won the match comfortably well.

a second half front three of martinelli lacazzette and pepe with saka behind them would have won us the match to be honest

willian play 90 minutes

even a blind man knows that martinelli and lacazette is needed early in the second half.....must arteta wait unti 70' minutes

as usual willian and nkeitah were the normal suspects, i expect arteta to change them in the second half and then bring them back to the first team next match and remove them in the second half and then repeat again

For anyone interest, Arsenal U23 2-1 Leicester City and Balogun scored the winning goal. This kid is ready for the EPL.
Arteta needs to start these young guns good minutes i. the first team and quickly.. Martinelli/ Balogun/ Nelson/ Saka/ Tierney/ Saliba should be getting good minutes with the first team in the EPL.
Sorry I have never rated Willock and Nketiah that highly.. They have had enough playing opportunities but have failed to progress.

surprisingly arteta has more faith on willock and nkeitah compared to martinelli, Nelson, saliba and balogun

Going into the weekend round of fixtures, we have Everton calling...

Our last match showed some improvements in terms of determination and work rate. Playing a rejuvenated Southampton side just 5pts below top place, was not going to be easy. But if Arteta had followed my advice to play Nelson and also put AMN in midfield he would won and not have suffered the draw.

Here is my advice for Everton away.

AMN.... Ceballos.... Elneny... Soares

.... Tierney..... Luiz.... Holding.........

Subs: Nketiah, Nelson, Pepe, Willian, Willock, Chambers, Kolasinac

Attack: Everton will have their tails up and smell blood so a counter attacking formation is what will suit us as we have no creative midfielder. Lacazette is ideal for ball holding while Aubameyang and Saka adds pace. Pepe would be a good option as super sub.

2. AMN will dangle between midfield and LWB positions as we attack or defend respectively. Soares should supply crosses.

3. Tierney will move into more advanced positions on the left as we attack. He should also provide crosses.

This is a formation Arteta is well used to and has helped him in the past. With most of his best players now out, his best bet now is to defend and counter. With good discipline and accurate finishing we will secure all 3points.

I'm not sure that teireny can be effective as an lcb compared to lwb, so for me i will bring in mari
for soares, AMN will shift to rwb while tierney will move up to lwb allowing mari to occupy the lcb position





and also I will remove willian from the substitute list and bring in martinelli or balogun

1. Auba has the experience and only needs some confidence to get back to scoring,

2. Lacazette has been doing fairly well in the no10 role, may be with more games he will improve till we get a proper AM. I will take him ahead of Willock and ESR. Saka has been our best attacking outlet, no questions, Nelson for me needs to be given that confidence boost by letting him know we trust him. Start him and give a signal to the likes of Pepe and Willian.

3. AMN is a consistent performer, well suited to midfield as well as LWB if there is need to cover the area. Elneny is just above Ceballos in my selection, due to the factory t that he started the last match. I'll easily change him after 5mins if I can't get a performance.

4. No issue with defense except that Luiz isn't starting as I will want to give the younger guy more preference.

5. No qualms with Leno,

i think it's best to start pepe over saka, we still have tough fixtures coming up, I dont want that boy to gas out before we play chelsea

24 hours after the incident, Xhaka has not come out to tender an apology to the fans! I mean, Gabriel and Tierney have made public statements apologizing for yesterday’s incident and performance but not Xhaka!

Remember, Pepe tendered an apology after his incident. Arteta called out Pepe during the post match in a scathing manner after his incident but needed to be reminded before he made a strong comment about Xhaka because the reporter compared it to Pepe’s.

Throughout this bad run of losses, our supposed captain Auba has not had one post match conference to address the fans!!! Someone please correct me if I am wrong..The freaking captain of this team has not for once come out to speak to the fans after this shambolic run!! Rather than take the heat after shameful performances we are sending Willock and others.. Where is the captain? Is it only when he is scoring that we would see videos? How about during moments like this?

Arteta has absolutely no control of that dressing room and it is frustrating the hell out of me. I know this team is horrible with a lot of stupid egos but Arteta is mis-managing this team. These are some of the symptoms..

from Tierney post match interview, I belive that arteta has not lost the dressing room, i think that the only people that are unhappy with the coach are the same people that were unhappy with emery and wenger.

if arsenal need to move forward i think its best to stick with arteta and bin all those old cargoes. because if we sack arteta then we are going round circles because the next manager will still have to face these old cargoes with their over inflated ego in the squad and by this time next year we all will be clamoring for the head of the next manager.


i think its time for we the fans to back arteta no matter what, if arteta is gone then the old cargoes has won again, they did it with wenger, they did it with emery now they have started that rubbish with arteta, and I'm sure those useless players will still do the same shít with the new manager.



las las na we the fans go suffer am because those players will continue that rubbish and still get paid while we languish in the league with the new manager.

the main problem is from xhaka, bellerin and willian, take these 3 out of this team and watch as our play becomes so fluid, no wonder we play so good in the europa games because those 3 are not included in the team




i still belive in arteta and I know he can still turn things around but he should know by now that having favorite in the team will bring disunity and bad blood within the team and at worse the so called favorite players are the ones inhibiting the free flowing football that we are craving for.



ii really hope mikel arteta learns from this match and drop willian, i have had enough of all those rubbish willian is doing, i will like to see nelson and pepe fighting for the RW position while saka and martinello fighting for the LW positions. balogun should be promoted to be the second CF while aubameyang retains the CF position, lacazzette can drop deep and start fighting for the CAM positin with smith rowe fighting for the same spot.



i will also like to see more playing time to be given to azeez. nkeitah should b a dropped because right now an injured martinelli is far more threatening than him. i am still wondering what was his aim in that match sef






fianlly i belive in arteta and I know he's a great coach, to win the fa cup with this squad is not an imaginable feat, even klopp cant go that far with this squad. but what I want from arteta is to be ruthless with everyone in the team because his job and career is on the line. I hope he learns from this match and never include willian in the team sheet including substitute list.
