Being a serving senator can't stop a person from accepting ministerial position. Such a person will only vacate his or her seat that's all.. Adamu Aleiro and Bala Muhammed (both former ministers of FCT) were serving senators before their appointments by Late. Umaru Yaradua and GEJ respectively.

I'm still very surprised that a seasoned financial guru, professional services/auditing/accounting heavyweight (as a former KPMG partner) and veteran administrator like Oronsaye wouldn't know how to cover his tracks properly. This is precisely the kind of guy that should know how to steal and launder billions in a porous system like Nigeria without leaving any paper trail. Something must have gone terribly wrong somewhere.
