Hi

Well I don't know if you can go for another Masters cos it looks dicey due to your 8 years study gap.

You might need to get across to JustMellow (@gcmswriters on Twitter, IG) on this cos you would need to convince a Visa officer with very cogent reasons on your SOP "Why another Masters".

But in the lame man point of view, based on your Study gap, a PG.CERT in a program related to your self employed job or your pension fund administration job would suffice.

Based on your pension fund administration job , you can go for a PG.CERT in Accounting in a Canadian college

IELTS being waived for you as a Nigerian will be dependent on if you schooled in English in Nigeria within the last two years or so. Different schools have different policies or if you can establish that the language of instructions in your school is English, this often comes with am official letter from your school stating this but I'm sure you won't have issues with fanshawe college or university of Ottawa with your cotonou degree.
With your international relations you can still study in Canada

No,you can’t tell me what to do or what no to do..I have five kids..my first is American, second is Canadian, third is a Barbados citizen, fourth is Brazilian and he fifth will be Mexican..what has English speaking countries gat to Do with birth tourism..is it too much if I want them to be bilingual or multilingual..you haven’t been to any of those non English speaking countries yet you act like you know a lot about them..FYI there are a lot of English speakers in the said country..English is more like the second official language father the official language and local language and trust me language barrier is the least of any problem in those countries..you should be the one to do your research on the aforementioned countries
please how does barbados citizenship by birth work??

Hello,

So I got into Brazil last night and I must say that the people are very friendly especially at the airport in São Paulo. You’ll always find someone who speaks English there and willing to help. I was worried about racism and so far I have experienced none despite the fact that 99 percent of people I have seen and related with are white.

In Rio however, it’s difficult to communicate with people except the hotel attendants. I had a difficult time trying to make purchases at the supermarkets. No one speaks English and the labels and instructions are all written in portugese. I’m not someone who likes to try new food so eating has been somewhat difficult for me also

I’m only in Rio for few days and still trying to decide between Sao Paulo and Florianópolis. Please I’ll need suggestions on safe and affordable areas in São Paulo.

There were Nigerians in the flight to São Paulo, about 4 of them speaking Yoruba. I spoke with one when we landed, asked him a few questions but missed him in the process of finding my next flight (which was difficult because the airport is so big)
hello..plz can u share your details on how you got the Brazil visa..dont know how to send dm.i need ur email or what's app details plz

Hi Toksvik. I wish you all the best. Do not give up.

I will however like to point out a few technicalities. I have written extensively on this on this platform and I will use this opportunity to remind us all.

It is not illegal to give birth in Brazil but there is however no visa category to apply to give birth in Brazil. (Welcome to Brazilian bureaucracy). Unlike the US, the medical treatment visa for Brazil does not include giving birth. In fact, it is currently considered safer to give birth in Nigeria than Brazil due to the zika outbreak some time ago.

Like i said before, if you present yourself as applying for a visa to give birth in Brazil, you are most likely going to be denied. Not because they don’t want you to give birth in Brazil but simply because there is no visa category for you. Unfortunately, the visa officer cannot create a category just for you. It’s just does not exist. Let us not confuse Brazil with the US.

I said it over and over again here but people have rather been advised to apply for medical visa. You see... some people may have been in Brazil 20 times longer than some of us but in terms of giving birth, it is a different ball game all together. Unless you have experienced it personally and most recently, your information will be misleading. Brazilian law can be very confusing. You only get to know a specific law when you come in contact with it. I am not claiming to be an expert of the law. In fact, I know nothing considering how complex Brazilian law can be and because this is an opened platform, i guess we are all free to share our knowledge. Just make sure you filter and choose the information we share here wisely.

Cheers
plz I am new to this platform..i need someone to please put me through this Brazil visa n birth plans..thank you and God bless
