On Friday, singer Oritsefemi had a brawl with some of the bouncers at Quilox Night club in Lagos. His management has released a statement stating his own side of the story. Read below...

On Friday 11th 2016, at exactly 2am at Quilox Night Club. Oriste Femi was attacked by a bouncer just because he was trying to stand for an older Colleague and a friend According to His Management MSN GANG the Double wahala & Ongba Larami singer was at Quilox on Friday trying to ease off stress with his friends at the VIP corner of the said club when he noticed a senior colleague and a brother Sound sultan and Rock Steady were been bounced from entering the VIP section of the club.

Oriste Femi who was not happy with the bouncers behavior stood up to ask the bouncer why he was putting up such attitude to An A list Artiste and a brother, the bouncer replied that an order was placed Down by Shina Peller the CEO of the club that no A list Artist should be allowed into the VIP section, claiming the A list Artiste were not his costumers and they have no value at his Club Just because of his rift with Davido [Does that make any sense at all].

After which, The bouncer told him to keep to his section or go join his colleague at the regular section. Femi who we all know to be a very humble and calm person accept the offer to join his colleague at the regular section but was pushed back by the bouncer, Before he could say Jack the other Bouncer was already rough Handling him. Oriste Femi who was holding a cup of wine had to defend himself by slapping the bouncer with the wine cup which gave the bouncer a scar on the face.

Without waiting for Explanation the other Bouncers in the club came in and attack Oriste Femi and in d process of the attack Oriste femi’s 8.5million Naira worth of jewelry was stolen by the club bouncers, before the crowd will stand up to protest against the club bouncers attitude, Oriste femi was already injured. Even with the injury he was held down by the bouncer s and the management of the club claiming they were waiting for the arrival of Police.

On the Arrival of police oriste femi and the bouncer were arrested and taken to the police station were the ipo in charge of the case ordered Oriste femi to Treat the injured bouncer which he did and even Gave the bouncer extra cash for self-medication.

The IPO also ordered the Bouncer and the Club Management to Provide Oriste femi’s 8.5million Naira worth of jewelry which he Hasn’t received till now. If we all will recur these Same Quilox was the same place Dammy Krane got messed up by Bouncers, these same club was the same club Davido got Confronted by this same Bouncers What Kind of Club is THIS? Is that how our beloved Country Ambassadors should be treated? We should learn how to respect and support ourselves God bless you.

This world is full of inhumane acts. One of which was filmed and posted online. The video has gone viral. In the video, you can see a black man being stuffed into a coffin by a white man and another person films the entire scene.

The poor man is crying and looked terrified as the coffin lid is being pushed down on him to seal him in.

Online reports indicate that the individual who is getting stuffed into the coffin committed a robbery, the guy who is stuffing him (who owns the property) pushing the board down was trying to get information out of him since in South Africa the authority’s aren’t helping at all.

There are however those who did not see anything wrong with the video on Facebook.

A Newseveryhour.com reader and angry customer of Etisalat sent us his complaint. He is accusing the network of giving him a gift for his birthday coming up tomorrow and finds the gift embarrassing. Read below..


First, let me point out that Etisalat Internet service is amazing. i do insert their sim in my tablet phone most times for surfing the Internet and it never fails me. I am saying this so you don't think i want to tarnish the network’s image or something. Also, their reception is clear here in Ogudu area of Lagos where i reside.

However, It’s better not to give someone a gift than to give them a gift that will cheapen them making them look like a roadside beggar; when they did not ask you for the gift and when you are even capable of giving better.

Many times, immediately after recharging my phone, Etisalat will deduct at least N30-N50 for some spam sms i never asked them for. i usually don't complain because there was no time to start calling their customer care line and start explaining myself. Although, i was finally going to do that soon and blast them. In a nutshell, Etisalat has been stealing from me!

So, a staff of Etisalat called my line yesterday November 9 and told me they realised that November 11th is my birthday and therefore because of that, plus my loyalty to the network, they are wishing me a happy birthday in advance. The staff also told me that the company will credit my line with free airtime and sms so that i can call my loved ones.
I thought, wow Nigeria is finally getting better. Not only am i getting a direct birthday greeting from my network but also free airtime.

I felt special for a while until a message came in from Etisalat that i had just been credited with 300 seconds of airtime and 30 free sms & 10 MMS to all Etisalat lines.

Like seriously, 300 seconds, that's like 5mins. Can i even call one of my loved ones and finish explaining what Etisalat did in 300 seconds? I don't think i have even sent up to 30 sms on that line in the last 3 months. Therefore, the free SMS is just useless.

Now, Due to the nature of my job, the least i recharge every two weeks is N5,000 and i don't even get bonus from Etisalat like some people do get. The last time I called their customer care to complain, all the lady said was that the bonus was selective. (just imagine that).

i was reading a viral story of a guy in the US recently who got rewarded with over 6,500 bars of chocolate from Kitkat after a stranger burgled his car and made a way with the last remaining bar left.

But my question is, why are some Nigerian companies very stingy and find it hard to be generous in rewarding customers for their loyalty.

C’mon Etisalat! I’m not poor, i am not hungry, i didn't beg you for recharge cards. So why do you think what i deserve for my 32years on earth is 300 seconds airtime? Why did you insult me with your “Useless” gift hours to my birthday?

Even a beggar deserves more than this rubbish Etisalat is calling a gift.

If the 300 seconds airtime was just a random bonus, i won't bother. But you knew it was my birthday and you felt the best for me was that?

What do these companies even take Nigerians for?

It felt even worse knowing that when my wife got an Airtel line recently, she was credited with N7,000 worth of free airtime!

The Enugu State Police Command has refuted claims it arrested a group of men allegedly behind the leaked lesbian sex tape of former Miss Anambra, Chidinma Okeke.

Reports made the rounds on Wednesday that the 7-man gang was apprehended in Enugu. According to a Facebook user, Martin Beck Nworah, the police arrested the guys at ‘Enugu’.


He posted some pictures of the alleged suspects and wrote: (See screen-shots)

But when DAILY POST contacted the Enugu State Police spokesperson, Ebere Armaraizu, he debunked the claim, saying, “I’m not aware of this. No, no, no! No arrest of such was made in Enugu. I’m in the Command and if anything like that happened, I should know and make it available.

“I don’t have such report.

“If anything about the incident comes up in the Command, I will get back to you but for now, I can’t confirm that the arrest was made in Enugu,” the spokesperson told DAILY POST.

This was just as the Commissioner of Police, CP in Anambra, Mr Sam Okaula, also dismissed the report, saying the command is not aware of any sex scandal involving the former beauty queen.

While noting that the command was yet to receive any report of such case, Okaula said, “I am not aware of any arrest of those involved or blackmailers in the matter. We have not gotten any report on the matter.

“I’m also not aware of the speculation making the round that some people have been arrested over the matter in Enugu.”

The video shows her on a lesbian act with Ada, who is reportedly one of her close friends and happens to be her personal assistant and also the 3rd runner up at the queen of democracy, 2014.

A young woman has exposed a pastor who forced her to sleep with him under the guise of offering her spiritual help.

The South African woman identified as 36-year-old Yvonne Smith, accused Pastor Bongani Manyisa of deceiving her and forcefully having sex with her, after offering her spiritual help. Smith who had gone to Manyisa while she was searching for healing after she suffered from a stroke, said she had ‘paid’ for it by sleeping with the pastor, and also buying him a R20 000 (N453,000) piano. According to her, the healing was scheduled to take place over several months, and the pastor had made sexual advances towards her and eventually slept with her repeatedly while ‘healing’ her. Smith who hails from Orlando East in Soweto, said she made up her mind to expose Manyisa eventually. She met the church council who ended up sacking the pastor from his position.

Here’s what Smith said:

“I suffered a stroke last August. I was in and out of hospital but was not getting any better. I was invited to the church where the pastor concentrated on me and prayed for me. After I got better, the pastor started making sexual and financial demands. I could not face going back to the pain that I felt while I was sick, because I could tell he was powerful. He kept poking me for months until I said ‘enough.” Responding to the allegations against him, Pastor Manyisa said: “I have a protection order against her because she harasses me all the time. She cost me my place at the church. She just wants to see me suffer. I don’t owe her anything. I thought it was just her gratitude for helping her during her healing process. Now I just want to recover from all this. Despite not being part of that church anymore I still have God’s calling and will continue to help people.” According to Nametso Mofokeng, a spokeswoman from Manyisa’s former church, the church had thoroughly investigated the matter before reaching their decision. She said: “After receiving the complaint, investigations were launched into the matter. Findings of the investigations led to the pastor being laid off his duties because of an alleged breach. As the church, we are sensitive when it comes to disciplinary matters and we had to terminate his contract of service as he was voluntary staff.”
