This is a very strong squad. This is the squad we need to take to Brazil for the World Cup. Quality players and lots of depth at every position. We need good quality players who want to represent Nigeria well without all the junk of bribery, club loyalties, and fake injuries at the last moment to please their European clubs who do not want Africa to have a strong showing in the world cup for financial reasons and to exert their dominance in football. If Keshi plans to accomplish this feat using his own tribal players, so be it. As long as they represent OUR country well, I am all for it.
European clubs know if Africa/Nigerians players play well, they will be forced to feature them more at the club level, which they don't want because they want their Europeans(Oyimbo's) to be the stars. This is what happened with Mikel. If one of our quality players goes down, we need guys that are ready to step in. Anichebe is good, but if he doesn't want to return pride to Nigeria side, we DONT WANT HIM. We have world class or potential world class players at every position and the best in Africa. We need to put it all together with good strategy. Play different players according to the weaknesses of the opponent. This is where Keshi needs to earn is money. It is easy to pick good players, but is he clever enough to coach tactically with the Oyimbo coaches The Oyimbo's think this is where we fail, that we are just not as smart as them. I SUPPORT KESHI AND I AM YORUBA!!!

That was a great goal. But it was even better because it was Mikel. No one, not even Nigerians thought he was going to score. It came as a suprise and it was a very skill and technical goal. It showed Mikels power and control. He dribbled through the defender, physically overpowered him, and put the ball right on the mark. It broke Mikel haters hearts.

He can be. But he needs to score a few more goals for Nigeria this year, lead us to the World Cup, and stand out more at Chelsea.

Mikel is very good. Not given the opportunity to excel in Chelsea because they don't want to play his style or let him have the shine. He is a world class player.
