The most experienced Politician in Nigeria alive today is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. Give it to him for his failures, milestones and achievements. Atiku personally financially sponsored the ascension of President Olusegun Obasanjo's emergence as the President in '99. He is a very close friend of Tinubu and were ally at some point. Atiku knows the implication of playing your cards too early for a political sagacious person like Tinubu. This particular coalition will not take the regular dimension from Democratic 99 - 2023. For a core Machiavellian like Tinubu it has to take a detour and deft strategist. Even Peter Obi and El-rufai can't match Atiku's experience and knowledge of a Tinubu. Just watch as the game unfolds. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar's biggest mistake was surrounding himself with high grade traitors. Daniel Bwala and Reno Omokri being the most prominent. I hear people say sponsored post or PR stunt in the comment section. I would love to know the average age range of Nairaland users. Someone is cashing out big time on a very soft business and they call it PR and sponsored post  Can you imagine the ignorance being peddled on a public forum. Lagos State remains the biggest market for any consumable in Africa and not Nigeria alone. Abiodun Oyebanji the present Governor is an over-hyped media packaged Governor. I am a regular visitor to Ekiti- State and he has done absolutely nothing new in that state. I passed through the Aramoko - Igede road and I cried for the people of the state. Kayode Fayemi (PhD) first term as Ekiti Governor was very impactful as he ensured all, I mean " ALL" rural rods in Ekiti had no single pot hole the " Trunk A" roads were the best along the Kogi, Kwara, Ekiti corridor. Ayodele Fayose was known to have opened up Ekiti after the Niyi Adebayo Regime with an audacious drive to open rural roads and mordernise Ekiti, before Fayose's regime Ekiti State was a glorified village. However, the media propaganda of this Governor Oyebanji far outweighs the work being done considering the humongous resources at his disposal. The first time in recorded Nigerian history where a Senate President and House of Rep Speaker will openly endorse a second term for a President two (2) years before a General Election. These people are meant to check the excesses of the executive as an independent arm of Government. I say it an I repeat it again " The General Elections in 2027 will be between the mass of the Nigerian Electorate against these Politicians". If PBAT gets a second term then call me a bast**d.
