Consistency says a lot about a person’s true conviction. It’s funny how some pastors especially pastor Adeboye could lead protests when Jonathan was in power, but now that Tinubu’s government is making life even harder, He doesn't speak up but resort to organizing prayer sessions.

Pastor Adeboye will declare global prayers for waiting mothers and singles, but won’t speak up about the harsh economic policies that are the very reason so many can’t even afford to marry or start a family. Sometimes, it feels like the church prays for problems it refuses to confront.

Only God knows who started the lie that Pastor Adeboye led protests during GEJ. If you know Pastor Adeboye, you’d know he will never lead protest against anyone. But why do guys believe anything and everything without confirming the veracity?

If the funds will help fund the activities of the NDLEA, why not assent to it? No one needs to tell us that the agency is grossly underfunded. They lack vehicles and equipment. Their personnel appear poorly kitted. Almost all their state offices are derelict. They have few or no accommodation. How are they expected to work efficiently?

The things you mentioned can be appropriated for in the budget.

This is also an indication of the economic well-being of the regions. Poverty is much lower amongst people of the South East compared with other regions.

Honestly, i really enjoyed the stipulated time of the mandatory NYSC scheme specifically in that area..
Light, water , transportation were favoureable and the people were really friendly and accommodating..
During that period i toured around ,thou to some LGAs and area but it seems there were all enjoying the same benefit in power supply which is meant to be across the country as a social amenities. But what be the reason of the recent blackout is the question am asking??

For some reason, Moba LGA has always enjoyed regular power and water supply. I was there in 2004 (21 years ago) and I was impressed with the regular supply of electricity and water.

Most of the banks will meet the 31st March 2026 deadline. The banks you mentioned only chose to raise capital in phases. GTBank for instance is a darling of investors in the stock market.

Not the same. Wike was interfering in the actual governance. BAT has never interfered in the day to day running of Lagos State since he left office in 2007. The hold he has is on the political machinery with the end goal of moving to a higher office. That goal was finally achieved 16 years later.

The sections between Ilesha and Ife towards Oshogbo needs complete re-tarring. I doubt N15 billion can even fix that section.

Ilesha to Akure is relatively OK, just needs minor patching.

Akure to Owo needs more patching.

I haven't travelled Owo - Benin for several years, but it used to be horrible after Ifon.

Hopefully N15 billion is just a start and more money will be allocated in future budgets.

Tinubu was the worst performing governor of that set. He did absolutely nothing to improve the Lagos that was bequeathed to him as former federal capital territory where hundreds of billions of dollars was spent on infrastructures during Nigeria oil boom from 60s to 90s. Infact Olagunsoye Oyinlola started operated sweep and marwa took over, improved it and made Lagos one of the most secured cities in the world then but when tinubu took over in 1999 he allow that security structure to collapse. The crime was so high that a lot of investors, expatriates like the fawaz family from Lebanon and others ran away from Lagos under Tinubu. It was Gani Adams that saved the situation by forming OPC security outfit run privately by a group of Yoruba vigilante men to return sanity to Lagos. Tinubu did absolutely nothing., built no schools , many roads he inherited from federal government were allowed to become dilapidated. Lagos picked up under fashola, continued by Ambode and maintained by the current person there. Tinubu was more engrossed in his political fights to secure his position fought akerele, Obasanjo, Funsho Williams etc and wasn’t even concerned about humane welfare of Lagosians as to him that doesn’t matter
