An FBI whistleblower just laid out the scandal in congressional testimony.

The whistleblower detailed the fight over footage: “The SSA for CT2 said, ‘Happy to show us where they were inside the Capitol.’ Which WFOs said, ‘You can’t use those videos unless you tell us exact time and place those individuals were inside the Capitol.’”

To which the response was: “First hand, why can’t you show us? Why can’t you just send this back, give access to the 11,000 hours of video? It’s a belief because there may be undercover officers or CHS, confidential human sources on those videos whose identity we need to protect.”

This confirms what many suspected — thousands of hours of January 6 footage were withheld because federal human sources were embedded in the crowd, and agents were directed to manufacture cases while whistleblowers faced retaliation for speaking out.
