From past experiences, please which one normally comes first...POP of a set of corpers or Orientation camp for a set of new corpers?...Rumour has it that the A15 POP date is April 15th, so am trying to make some calculations...Also what is the usual interval, in days, between this two activities...thanks.

It's no misconception Brother but a special Scenario going by the DG's comment relative to the reasons for having 0nly 2 Batches in 2015 instead of the usual 3 Batches rather than the ELECTORAL INSINUATION BEING CITED

l don't want to draw this too far but note that budgets are drawn based on the goals an organization want to achieve in the following year, NYSC saw the election coming, planned for two batches and drew their budget based on that. All those twitter post na just publicity bobo. N did l just hear Zero Budgeting?...Naija public sector is neither ripe nor ready for it.God bless Nigeria.

I guess it's because the National Assembly promise to debate and approve the Budget within one week. So they are now targeting Camping to be before EASTER MARCH 27TH

Many people have this misconception that budget approval has something to do with camping/ TT, the thing is that it doesn't. The law allows for government activities to be run at a level not above the last years budget in a case where budget hasn't been approved .Activities in the public sector can't be put to an halt simply because a bunch of 'very serious' people are delaying the budget approval.

Please don't love ICAN exams o, Love being/becoming a chartered accountant...in ICAN we talk accounts, finance,management, tax,auditing etc most of them are somehow related to accounts sha...if you really wanna do it you need serious tutorial and commitment you shd also have some love for figures too.

The study packs are only given out after you make payments for your papers,i.e when you pay examination fees...That may be around just a month or less before the exams and you will have to collect it in person in there office..But the packs are available for download on their website...As to whether they are available in bookshops,l can't give an outright no to that but getting it in bookshop will be very difficult,it may be available in bookshops that are very close to ICAN offices sha...but it will be rare...you are eligible for exemption immediately you have your Registration number after membership registration ,you only have to be sure of the kinda exemption that you are qualified for...check their website for more info.

I would love to sit for ICAN this year,had B.tech Chemical Engr as first degree. Someone should assist wit info please on how to enrol.

Check their website for the procedure for professional students registration,procedure for exemption etc..hope it helps.

Well as far as am concerned,l believe the ICAN PM and FR study packs published by Emile Woolf is far too enough, they only need to be combined with past questions for better mastery.

I am a final year student of business administration, more interest in management, audit and business analysis. m not much an accounting person but I can study hard to cross anyone of it huddle. but point been made clear I don't really like accounting. ma question is does ICAN offer certification is anyone of management, or business portfolio analysis, investment. any skill level course that fit ma interest and the requirement?

Eeyah!!...l don't think you can pay your way through,money will get you tutors but you need to put in some efforts too,as in some serious hardwork. Just change your orientation and try hard...You can.

No o,there is a plan to revert to the normal 3 batches per year.

No one can answer that question with certainty, all we can do is to patiently wait for the next time table to be released by the board...l personally wish it will be Feb or March.
